Enter the Hospital

Vincent immediately ran into the hospital to the elevator at the right end of the main door. After getting word that his wife was in the hospital, Vincent immediately flew to Indonesia using his private jet at that time because he was very worried about his wife's condition.

He even left an important meeting with his client after Edric told him the news. Luckily Janice went with him to Singapore so she asked Jenice to represent to continue the meeting.

“Ma...” Vincent rushed to his mother when he saw her just closed the door of the junior suite room on the 20th floor, “how is Olivia doing? What the hell happened to him? Why did he get into the hospital?”

“Sstttt.” Lucy Lu hissed while putting her index finger on her lips, “di just fell asleep inside.” Then he invited his son to sit in a seat not far from Olivia's room in the care.

“Ma, what happened? Why did Olivia suddenly go to the hospital?” vincent asked again with an anxious face after he and his mother sat in the long chair.

Last night he had a video call with his wife and she was doing well. Only his face looked lethargic and lackluster. This morning he called his wife's phone, but it wasn't picked up, Vincent called his mother, asked her to check on him and it turned out that he said he was still sleeping.

Suddenly during the day he got shocking news from his mother to make him immediately leave the Lion country immediately, when he should still be there 3 more days to finish his work. He no longer thought about the important work he had to complete. His wife's condition is more important than anything he thinks.

“Mama will tell you, but you need to calm down first.”

Vincent took a deep breath and exhaled slowly to catch his irregular breath. “Now tell me what happened to Olivia?”

“Diaa... dia...”.

Seeing that his mother did not go on, Vincent became more and more impatient. “Maa, please quickly tell me, what happened to my wife?”

“Olivia.. dia...”.

“He why Ma?? Don't scare me.” Vincent's patience began to thin because his mother did not tell him.

“You will be a father.” Lucy Lu smiled widely after that, “Olivia is pregnant and mama will soon have a grandchild,” continued Lucy Lu enthusiastically. A wide smile immediately stuck on Lucy's face after telling her son. It seems that she is very happy with her daughter-in-law's pregnancy.

“Pregnant?” repeat Vincent with a confused face, “you mean Mama, Olivia is pregnant with my son?”

Lucy Lu patted her son's thigh hard to resuscitate his stupidity. “Of course she's pregnant with your child, you're her husband, why still ask? Stupid idiot.”

The next second Vincent immediately hugged his mother with the widest smile. The sparkles of happiness were clearly visible from the look in his eyes. “Olivia is really pregnant, right, Ma?”

“Iyaa. Where might mom lie to you.”

Vincent was getting his arms around his mother. This was the first time Vincent had hugged his mother since she was an adult and it took Lucy Lu by surprise.

“Ma, I'm so happy to hear that. This is very exciting news for me.”

Lucy Lu felt tight because she was hugged very tightly by her son. He knew that his son was very happy at this moment, and so, he acted like this. Not only Vincent, he was also very happy about Olivia's pregnancy news.

“Release Mama. Mama can't breathe.” Lucy Pushing her son's body away from her, she tidied up her slightly messy clothes.

“Sorry, Mom. I'm too happy because I'll soon be a father.”

“And mama will also soon be a grandmother." Lucy Lu returned with a big smile after saying that, "mama can't wait for the birthday of my granddaughter,” Lucy Lu said enthusiastically.

“Ma, I'll see my wife first.” As Vincent got up from his seat, Lucy Lu held her son's hand.

“Do not disturb him. He just fell asleep. His body was limp because these two days he only ate a little and since morning he did not want to eat because he felt nauseous until the end of vomiting after smelling the aroma of fried onion.”

Vincent sat down next to his mother after hearing that. “Why hasn't Mama told me since morning?”

“Mama forgot because mom immediately drove Olivia to the hospital after seeing spewing something.”

As soon as Olivia smelled the scent of fried onions on the dinner table, she immediately ran to the kitchen and vomited her entrails, Lucy Lu immediately invited Olivia to the hospital. Behind this he noticed that his daughter-in-law was not appetite, also Olivia always looked tired, several times he found his daughter-in-law was nauseous.

As a mother, of course, she has a strong feeling that her daughter-in-law is pregnant. That is why he immediately drove his son-in-law to the hospital to be checked for accurate results. After being examined by a doctor, as expected, Olivia was declared 3 weeks pregnant.

Lucy Lu immediately asked the Doctor to treat her daughter-in-law in the hospital because she did not want anything to happen with her womb, especially Olivia had eaten a few days. After her son-in-law was moved to the hospital room, Lucy just remembered to report to her son through Edric.

“Go accompany your wife inside. Since your departure, he has been daydreaming a lot, it seems like he misses you a lot.”

When he saw his mother standing up, Vincent immediately asked a question. “Mama where to go?”

“Mama wants to see a Doctor first. Accompany your wife first, but don't wake her.”

Vincent nodded. The two stepped in different directions, Vincent headed for his wife's room, while his mother walked towards the elevator. After opening the door of his wife's room, Vincent stepped very slowly when he saw his wife was sleeping on the patient's bed. He pulled the chair carefully so as not to make a sound and placed it beside his wife's bed.

“Honey, quickly wake up. I can't wait to hug you. I'm so happy to hear the news of your pregnancy, dear.”

Vincent's hand was stretched out to rub his wife's stomach, but he paled for fear that his wife would wake up. Finally he could only face his wife with a big smile. He still did not expect that his wife could get pregnant that fast.

“Just right behind this you're so spoiled and don't want to be away from me. Turns out there's our son in your stomach.”

Suddenly he thought with his wife's strange attitude lately. There were many changes in his wife's attitude that astonished him. One of them was that he was more sensitive and more spoiled than usual.

“Darling, how do you feel now? Is there anything uncomfortable?”

Instead of answering, Olivia actually hugged her husband without caring about the hose of her interested infusion. “I miss you so much.”

His wife's words made Vincent happy. Previously, his wife rarely expressed her feelings, and seemed embarrassed, but now without hesitation hugged to vent her longing.

“I miss you a lot too, dear. Forgive me for leaving you for a few days,” Vincent said as he returned his wife's embrace.

“Iyaa. It's okay,” said Olivia slowly, “why are you home? Shouldn't you be home on Saturday?”

"Mama said you were in the hospital so I went straight home.” Vincent tightened his embrace. Olivia closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying her husband's warm embrace. For a few days she missed her husband.

“Thank you for being pregnant with us, dear. I'm very happy.”

Olivia raised her head, but was still in her husband's arms. “You know I'm pregnant?”

Vincent nodded with a smile. “Yes, my mom told me. Forgive me for leaving you for a few days, if I knew you were pregnant, I would definitely not leave you.”

Olivia smiled warmly then said, “The most important thing is that you are here, I am already happy that you can go home quickly.”

Vincent broke his arms and raised the headrest of his bed so that his wife could lie with her head higher. “Have you eaten?”

“After that, but I spewed it back.”

Vincent looked compassionately at his wife after hearing that. “What do you want to eat? I'll ask Edric to buy you.”

Instead of answering, Olivia just circulated her gaze for a moment throughout the room. “Mama to where?”

“Mama is seeing an obstetrician who handled you earlier.”

“Now tell me, what do you want to eat, honey?”

“I don't want to eat. I want to sleep while hugging you.”

Vincent smiled as he looked at his wife's spoiled attitude. He got up from his seat and then lay down beside his wife carefully for fear of touching her insuf hose. Fortunately, the patient's bed can float for two people.

“You should eat after this, I asked Edric to buy you some porridge, huh?”

Olivia shook her head in Vincent's arms. “I don't want to eat porridge.”

Vincent stroked his wife's hair gently then said, “What about grapes, apples, dragon fruit or bananas?” Maybe his wife's mouth feels bitter so he needs a sweet food, but Vincent's mind was wrong because after that, Olivia asked for fruit that has a sour taste.

“I want young mango and cranberry.”

“You should eat rice first, only then eat the fruit.”

“But I would love to eat that fruit now.”

“Darling, the fruit is sour and you should not eat it if your stomach is not filled with anything else.”

Actually Olivia knows that too, but that's exactly what she really wants right now.

“Good. I'll eat sandwiches and salads only.”

“Sorry, Dear. I don't want to disobey you, I just don't want your stomach to hurt."

"Yeah. I know."

Vincent rubbed his wife's cheek gently and said, "I'll get Edric to buy it.” Vincent grabbed the phone in his pocket and called his assistant.

From the doorway, Lucy Lu is seen entering the room after Vincent finishes the call. Olivia wants to get up, but is stopped by Lucy Lu. “Sleep only. No need to wake up. Mama just wanted to talk to Vincent for a minute.”

“Wait a minute, Honey. I spoke to mama first.” Vincent got out of bed and went to his mother. The two of them spoke on the sofa that was near the door.

Lucy spoke in a low tone so that Olivia would not hear her. “Doctor said that Olivia was able to go home this afternoon, but mom asked the doctor to take care of Olivia until tomorrow afternoon. Olivia's body is still weak, mama doesn't want her to go home first.”

Vincent nodded in agreement with his mother's decision. He was also worried about his wife's condition which still looked weak, especially if she was pregnant young. “Iyaa, Mom. Let me take care of Olivia tonight.”

“Don't, you just go home. You must be tired, let alone you just got here. Let Mama take care of Olivia tonight.”

There was a sense of pleasure in his heart when he saw his mother's attention to Olivia. “Ma, I wouldn't be able to sleep at home if my wife was in the hospital. It's better for mommy to come home let me be here to look after Olivia.”

“Alright then. Mama will be here again tomorrow morning.”
