Olivia went down the stairs in slow steps along with a great heartbeat. Although he knew exactly what reason Lucy Lu had called him, but he could already guess that it must be related to her entry into the Wijaya family. Lucy Lu definitely hasn't accepted herself as the wife of her child.

Upon arriving at the last three steps, Olivia rolled her gaze in all directions because she did not know where Lucy Lu was, she forgot to ask Lena earlier. As she climbed the last step, a maid approached Olivia and asked her if there was anything she could help. Mr. Wijaya had indeed introduced Olivia to all the servants so that they could serve Olivia well during her stay at the residence.

“Mrs Lucy is in Mr. Wijaya's office, Young Madam.” The waiter then guided Olivia to Juan Wijaya's office.

“Please, Young Madam,” said the Maid after opening the door.

Olivia nodded politely then said, “Thank you.”

Olivia stepped slowly and saw Lucy Lu sitting on the sofa with her flat face. Upon seeing Olivia, Lucy entered Lu glanced at her for a moment then asked her to sit opposite him.

“I'll be straight at the core.” His face did not display any expression, but his chin was raised a little higher until it looked a little haughty, “you have already violated our agreement. You said you were going away from my son and would never appear in his presence again, but instead you are now married to my son.”

Olivia took a deep breath and exhaled him fervently before speaking She had already guessed that Lucy Lu would definitely bring that up. Olivia had prepared mentally before she went to her mother-in-law.

“I'm sorry. That's out of my control. I tried to stay away from your son, but he came to me himself and asked me to marry him. I told you I would stay away from Vincent and never show myself in front of him again, but I never said I wouldn't come back to him if he asked me to come back. I also never promised that I would never marry your son.”

Olivia's words dealt a crushing blow to Lucy Lu. She was unable to speak any more after hearing Olivia's words. He only realized one thing at the moment that was, he had already been fooled by the woman in front of him. How could he not digest the words of Olivia until now he could not reply to the words of his daughter-in-law.

“Because I am married to Vincent, I hope you can accept me as your son-in-law,” Olivia said politely, “I promise to be kind and will not embarrass you. I'll try as hard to be a good daughter-in-law as you wish. I'll do whatever you ask, except one thing is leave your son."

Lucy Lu closed her eyes for a moment to control her emotions.

After learning how Vincent struggles to marry her, Olivia feels very guilty. He had left Vincent cruelly, but the man did not hate him at all and instead devised a plan to marry him. How could he leave that man again after knowing his sacrifice.

“I won't make up for my mistakes again. I'll stick with your son no matter what. You won't be able to separate us anymore,” said Olivia steadily, "so please give me a chance to be a good daughter-in-law to Mama.”

“Mamaa?” Lucy Lu held onto her stiffened nape while closing her eyes for a moment after hearing Olivia's new call to him. “Oooh, goshaa. I'm not your mother. Where did you get the courage to call me that name.”

Instead of being offended by her in-laws, Olivia smiled. “You are Vincent's mother. We're married so my husband's mother will be my mother too. It may feel foreign at the beginning, but gradually mama will get used to the call.”

Lucy Lu looked at Olivia with a look of disbelief. The girl in front of him just smiled sweetly at him after saying that. It was clear from the beginning that he had shown that he did not accept his presence in the Vijaya family, but the girl looked ordinary.

“Astgaaa.. how could my son fall for a woman like you? Of all the women out there, why is she crazy about you? What exactly have you done to my beloved son to make him feel like he's crazy?”

Her son rejected all women who had superior seeds just for the sake of ordinary women like Olivia. It was still not acceptable to Lucy Lu until now.

“Mama can ask Vincent what made him fall in love with me because I also do not know the answer, which I know if he loves me very much, and vice versa,” replied Olivia calmly as she widened her smile and it made Lucy Lu even more shake her head with a frustrated face.

“I think my son is crazy for loving you. I only have one son, but he has let me down.” Lucy Lu massaged her temples with a headache.

“How can I be happy if you just took it from me? She's the only child I've ever raised so lovingly, but she prefers you over her own mother."

OIivia kept a smile on her face, even though Lucy had never shown her hospitality. Olivia even spoke softly to her mother-in-law so as not to provoke her anger.

“I never took it from Mama. He will forever be my favorite son. I just added love to Vincent's life to make life happier than ever.” Olivia cleared her throat for a while and then said very gently, “I definitely wouldn't let Mama down if I could accept me as the daughter-in-law in this family. I'll give you the most special gift in the world that will make Mama happy.”

Lucy Lu stared in full search at the woman who was smiling warmly at him. “What gift do you mean?”

Seeing Lucy Lu's interest in her words, Olivia further widened the smile on her lips. “Because I've married Mama's son, I'll give mama a very adorable grandson, how?”

Upon hearing that, Lucy Lu's facial features turned slightly irritated, yet there was little interest in it. “You want to bribe me?”

Instead of denying, Olivia nodded. “Iyaa, I want to bribe Mama with grandchildren so Mama can accept me.”

“Kauuu...” Lucy hung up her words because she could no longer continue. How could the girl in front of him acknowledge that with a relaxed face while smiling.

“I'm sure Mama must really want a grandchild, right?” Although Olivia was not so sure of her guess, she tried to look optimistic.

“I do want grandchildren, but..”.

“So Mama wants granddaughter or boy?” Olivia interrupted her mother-in-law's words immediately because she knew what words would come out of Lucy Lu's mouth.

“Who said I want a grandson from you?”

“Vincent won't want to marry another woman, so only I will be pregnant with her child.“

“Don't be too confident. He was blind to you for a moment. Gradually he will realize his mistake and will leave you and marry another woman.”

Although her mother-in-law's speech was very sharp, Olivia tried not to put it in her heart. He was determined that he would try to be patient and accept whatever words Lucy Lu had spoken to him, even if it hurt him.

“If he did want to marry another woman, he would have done it a long time ago. He could have married Jesica after I left him that time, but he didn't do that and still wanted to marry me, even though I had already hurt him.”

Other than Jesica, no woman Vincent has ever loved in his life, Lucy Lu admits it is true. Before getting to know Olivia, her son always refused matchmaking because he still had feelings for Jesica and only after getting to know Olivia, his son did not glance at any other women, including Jesica.

“Ma, I'm married to Vincent, there's no harm in Mama giving me a chance to be a good daughter-in-law. Mama has nothing to lose if she accepts me as Vincent's wife. Mama will get a bonus adorable grandson from me.”

Lucy Lu was still silent and seemed to be thinking hard. Olivia no longer spoke, she gave Lucy Lu time to think. After thinking for a while, Lucy Lu raised her head then looked at Olivia with her firm face.

“Good. Since my son is so infatuated with you, I will give up this time. I have no choice but to accept you as my son-in-law. I'll give you one chance. You must give me a grandchild within a year, otherwise you will have to leave my son if during that time you cannot get pregnant.”
