The Real Marriage

As Olivia was about to step away, Jesica suddenly said, “Olivia, don't go. If you leave now, my wedding might be off.”

Olivia instantly turned her body and looked at Jesica in surprise after hearing that. “Jesica, what's the matter with you? Why are you talking weird and nonsensical things?”

Jesica had been acting strangely since then and Olivia was uncomfortable with it.

“I don't think this is strange. I've been expecting it from the beginning.” Jesica lifted her head and smiled strangely at Olivia, "she's already signaling to me."

Not understanding what Jesica said, Olivia sat down in front of him again and asked Jesica. “What do you mean?”

“Olivia, do you know? I risked everything for this marriage. My dream is to marry her.” Jesica smiled, but the look looked sad, “I love her so much, I'm afraid I'll lose her.”

Looking at Jesica's teary eyes, Olivia tried to calm her down. “What are you afraid of? Soon you will marry her.”

Jesica, who was looking down, immediately raised her head to look at Olivia with sadness. “Can I really marry him?”

Seeing the strange attitude of Jesica since earlier, Olivia felt that something was wrong, but did not say it. “Of course. Just counting the minutes, then, he will be yours.”

Despite being calmed down by Olivia, Jesica still felt anxious. “But I feel that I will lose him forever.”

Seeing Jesica's excessive worry, Olivia calms him down again. “Jes, don't think a no-no.”

Olivia feels that Jesica started acting strangely after putting her wedding ring on her earlier.

“Don't just because the ring fits in my hand. You're getting bad-minded. It's possible that our ring size is the same.”

Upon hearing that, Jesica smiled widely. Jesica's finger is bigger than Olivia's. “Liv, you know, right? If I never hated you even though we liked the same guy. I've thought of you like my best friend.”

“I know. Why did you suddenly say that?”

Upon hearing the sound of knocking on the door from the outside, their conversation came to a halt. A woman is seen entering Jesica's room. He is a cousin on his mother's side.

“Jes, the show is about to start, but Vincent hasn't come yet. His family is mobilizing people to look for him because his mobile number cannot be contacted,” said Cousin Jesica with a panicked face.

Olivia's eyes widened, while Jesica's body immediately went limp after hearing that.

“Are you okay?” olivia asked as she looked at Jesica's pale face.

“I'm fine.” Then he looked at his cousin, “why did he suddenly disappear? Wasn't she already here half an hour ago?”

“I also don't know.”

Vincent's family has just reported that Vincent has suddenly disappeared. Lucy Lu and Juan Wijaya immediately panicked after knowing that. They tried to contact Vincent, but couldn't. Sir Juan Wijaya then mobilized his men to find his son. Not only did Vincent disappear, but Edric also disappeared.

After searching for Vincent for hours, but not yet finding him, Vincent's family finally tells Jesica's family that Vincent, suddenly disappeared. Lucy Lu was forced to tell him because there was only 15 minutes left before the wedding started. After the Jesica family found out about the news, Jesica's cousin went straight to Jesica to report it.

“How is this? Five minutes to go the show will start. All guests have arrived.”

Jesica looked down for a moment then said, “Tell Vincent's parents not to panic. He's definitely coming. They told me to wait a minute.”

“Are you sure he'll come? Do you know where Vincent is right now?” asked Cousin Jesica with a doubtful face.

“I know. He told me he was coming late. You take it easy, he's definitely coming. I guarantee that."

“Then go first to tell everything.”

“Hhhmmm,” Jesica replied while nodding.

After the departure of her cousin, Olivia immediately threw a question at Jesica. “Jes, what is this really about? Why did you lie to your cousin?”

Clearly, Jesica was shocked to hear that Vincent had disappeared, which means that Jesica also did not know about Vincent's whereabouts.

“He's coming Olivia. Long before this, he had already told me.”

“What do you mean?”

“Wait and see. He will definitely be coming soon.”

Although hesitant about Jesica's words, Olvia did not say them. He chose to sit still and wait.

“Liv, because it's my wedding day so I want you to look beautiful today. Will you wear the dress that I have specially prepared for you while waiting for Vincent to arrive?”

“No need, Jes. I don't want to attract the attention of many people at your wedding.”

He did not want to attract the attention of Vincent's family, especially his mother.

Seeing Jesica's pleading face, inevitably Olivia relented. “Good.”

Jesica smiled broadly and asked Olivia to call the makeup artist who had been grooming her. After the makeup artist entered, Jesica asked the young woman to apply Olivia's makeup naturally. After finishing, Jesica asked Olivia to take the dress that had been prepared for her in the wardrobe in the room.

“Jes, is this not too much for me?” Olivia stared doubtfully at the dress she had in her hand at this moment.

“No. I want you to look beautiful on my happy day. I beg Olivia, put on the dress.”

After thinking for a while, Olivia finally agreed, even though it was by force. “Then, I change first.” Olivia walked to the corner of the room and was helped by the makeup artist to change clothes.

“You look so beautiful, Liv,” praise Jesica after Olivia finished wearing the white dress she prepared for Olivia.

“I'm afraid they'll think I want to rival you on your wedding day,” Olivia said. You seem to feel uncomfortable wearing that dress.

“No need to care what others think of you.”

As Olivia was about to sit down, Jesica's door opened and a cousin of Jesica's was seen coming back into the room.

“Vincet is here. He was standing at the altar. It's time we got down.”

Hearing that, Jesica immediately smiled. “Good. You go first, we'll catch up soon.”

“Yaa.”

After her cousin left, Jesica got up from her seat helped by Olivia. “Let's go," take Jesica.

Olivia nods and helps Jesica hold onto her dress to avoid being stepped on, while her makeup artist helps hold onto Jesica's arm. Just as they were about to step into a special elevator connected directly to the ballroom where the wedding was to be held, Jesica suddenly stopped her steps.

“Liv, there's stuff left in my room. You just go first. Wait for me at the altar and tell Vincent I'll be down in a minute.”

Olivia turned her head and said, “let me get it. You wait here.”

“Do.” Jesica held Olivia's hand when she was about to step away, “let me look for her. You won't be able to find him. I'll be right after finding it.”

“What are you looking for? Why not just pick it up after the show is over?” ask Olivia again.

“Cannot. It was my mother's thing, I promised I'd wear it on my wedding day. I'll catch up with Sinta later.”

Sinta is the name of her bride.

After thinking for two seconds, Olivia then said, “Alright.”

Olivia stepped into the elevator and smiled at Jesica. “The ring you brought, right?” jesica asked before the elevator door closed.

“Already.” Olivia frowned when she saw Jesica's eyes look glazed over as the elevator door closed.

Arriving at the hotel ballroom, Olivia walked straight to the altar regardless of people's gazes at her, especially the gaze from Lucy Lu. He steps closer to Vincent and explains to Vincent that Jesica is still in his room and will be down soon after finding the object left in his room.

“Did you bring the ring?” ask Vincent.

“Iyaa,” replied Olivia while nodding.

“Then we just start the event now.”

“But Jesica is still on top. He'll be down in a few minutes."

“No need to wait Jesica.” Vincent looked at the man standing at the side then said, “Please start the show. We are both ready to tie the sacred promise.”

Olivia's eyes widened upon hearing that. Not only Olivia, but the guests who heard her were taken aback, including Lucy Lu and the rest of the family.

“Cent, what do you mean? Why did you say that? This is your wedding with Jesica not with me?”

The atmosphere instantly became crowded, all the guests were seen whispering to each other.

“Olivia, listen to me carefully.” Vincent took two steps forward and looked into his eyes, “From the beginning I never intended to marry Jesica. I planned this wedding to marry you, not Jesica. That's why I asked you to prepare for this wedding to suit your wishes.”

Olivia's eyes are perfectly rounded after hearing Vincent's shocking confession. Out of shock, Olivia was speechless.

“I won't let anyone ruin our marriage. You won't be able to run away from me again, Olivia. Right now I will make you mine forever.”
