Derryl jerked his foot and made Brisia fall to the ground. Naturally he no longer reacted to Brisia's innocent mimicry because his belief in Brisia had been completely extinct. Derryl looked at Brisia with a look of disdain, he could not believe he had fallen into the Brisia game all along. The blind Derryl slowly opened his eyes, realizing that he had gone too far for Alina or Xena.
“Don't touch me! From this very second you and Viscount Gimlet will be held in a dungeon and Alina is officially released from baseless charges!”
Derryl immediately ordered the knights to detain Brisia and Viscount Gimlet, both of whom rebelled while being forcibly taken to a dungeon. In this way, Xena was released from prison, finally she could breathe fresh air outside the prison without worrying about the charges being leveled at her. Since the beginning, Xena had predicted this, so she could relax a little without having to stress behind bars.
“Your Majesty, please come out. From today you are acquitted of the Emperor's child murder charge directed to you.”
Xena walked out of the prison, accidentally passing Xena Brisia and Viscount Gimlet. Seeing their grumbling and thrashing facial expressions made Brisia want to laugh loudly.
“Enjoy your time before you are finally sentenced to death by the Emperor,” whispered Xena beside Brisia's ear.
Brisia's face turned red as a result of the wrath she kept on holding onto Xena for some time. Xena gave a faint look to Brisia, how glad Xena was to see Brisia drowning in regret. Soon Xena could see the destruction of the woman who had created great suffering for her twin sister.
‘Damn it! The woman irritated me, it was all because of her that made me enter into the pitfall of the trap I originally created for her. Just watch out, I won't die, I make sure he's miserable before the day of my death,’ grumbled Brisia inwardly.
Xena knew that Brisia was grumbling all the way in her heart, even so Xena did not care much about whatever Brisia's response was about her. He only needed to enjoy his time of freedom before a huge storm hit this empire.
‘What should I do first? Maybe now I will visit my beloved Queen Mother and press her a little to get answers to the questions that have plagued my head all this time. That woman must also die with Brisia, I must not let her live any longer.’
Before visiting Gylda, Xena went to her room to rest for a while, she laid her body onto the surface of the mattress that she had not felt her tenderness for a long time. Xena's tiredness momentarily vanished, she really missed sleeping on the bed during her time in prison. Gia was also happy because now Xena no longer needs to suffer in a narrow, humid, and seedy place.
“Gia, good work! I know you can do it, thanks to you now I can breathe fresh air outside the prison. You're the nicest person in my life, if it wasn't for you maybe I'd be overwhelmed by now,” Xena praised.
Gia smiled proudly as Xena praised her, to be honest her heart was racing as she carried out the plan to catch Brisia. However, who would have thought that his plan had managed to make Xena satisfied.
“I just did what I could do, Miss. I'm glad to be able to help you so far,” reply Gia stay humble.
Xena got up from her sleeping position, jumping out of bed because she almost forgot something important.
Soon Gia gets a piece of paper and a pen for Xena, with the happy feeling of Xena writing a letter to the two men she loves. Xena wrote a letter while humming, Xena's excitement creating confusion on Gia. Because, only this time he saw Xena was very happy like now.
‘Can getting out of jail make Miss that happy? I don't understand the way Miss thought,’ thought Gia.
After writing the letter, Xena sent the letter to Xander's residence, of course this news made Xander and Xavier happy. Those who were previously worried now no longer had to worry because Xena was already safe in her residential palace.
At that time, Charise was again shocked by the news of Brisia's affair with Viscount Gimlet. Many people blasphemed the two of them, not a few of them who regretted being prejudiced against Xena. Now they have the truth of who was behind the death of Brisia's son and Emperor. The people also denounced Brisia as a demonic woman who sacrificed her own child to bring Xena down.
“Excellent, Miss! The people who dared to blaspheme you back then are now silent after getting word of the Empress. I hope they just die because they blaspheme you without knowing the real problem,” Gia said exasperatedly.
“Let it go, don't you care, which obviously now we've brought down Brisia. It's faster than I thought, but I'm glad Charise's extermination time is approaching. Before that, tomorrow night I want to give a little surprise to Queen Mother.”
The next day in the middle of the night silence, Xena secretly went to the palace of Gylda's residence. Xena sneaked into the courtyard of Gylda's palace, although there were many knights and servants working there, still if it was night then the atmosphere was quiet like this. Xena saw the two knights fall asleep while standing guard in front of the entrance of Gylda's room. Xena decided to enter through the window.
When Xena peeked out of the window, it turned out that Gylda was still not asleep and was cool sitting relaxing on the sofa. After the news about Brisia spread, Gylda was immediately attacked by excessive stress that made it difficult to sleep.
“May the cheap woman cheat behind my son, even though he has been given a decent life in this palace. Even my son always defends him when he makes a mistake, but look at how he pays. Tomorrow I tell Derryl that the Empress must be put to death,” grumbled Gylda.
“What are you grumbling about?”
Xena's voice made Gylda aghast in shock, he suddenly got up from his seat while facing Xena who entered through a wide open window. Gylda greeted Xena with a sour expression, her hands itching to beat Xena's face.
“What are you doing here, lady jal*ng?!” Gylda was not friendly to Xena at all.
“I'm here to greet you, do you hate me so much?” Xena sat herself down on the sofa as she continued to cast a piercing gaze at Gylda.
