Xander quickly came out as the voice of Derryl's angry cries resonated to every corner of the mansion, he pretended to know nothing about Xena who was in his mansion at that time. Watching Derryl's wrath become a habit for him in the past, he gets tired of dealing with Derryl who is definitely no match for him. Meanwhile, Xena was currently pretending to sleep in the room, her mood was good after receiving a poison that was good enough for her weapon.

“What's up, Brother? Why are you yelling at my mansion?” xander asked as he climbed the stairs.

Derryl's face was red withheld anger, all the way to Xander's residence, he did not stop grumbling with resentment because of the prejudice that Xander had kidnapped Xena without knowing how the truth behind Xena's disappearance. Deep in Derryl's heart, he had never liked Xander in the past, because the previous Emperor often boasted of Xander as a gifted son.

However, Xander refused to become Emperor, which is why Derryl chose to ascend to the next throne. Though their father was more supportive of Xander which clearly exceeded Derryl in any respect. However, Xander disliked the political life of the court, preferring freedom in acting without being bound by the power that ruled the empire.

“Do not pretend anymore, damn it! You brought Alina here, didn't you? What do you mean kidnap your own sister's wife?!” Derryl pointed and scolded Xander while pointing at Xander's face.

Xander's response was just a slanted smile, thinking he had a shallow-brained brother like Derryl this gave him a headache. Derryl came only on the basis of sheer prejudice, stuck in his heart the bad thought that Xander had the intention to take the position of Emperor from him. This is why Derryl accused Xander of not thinking long or trying to think positive first.

“Avictor? The Empress was in danger last night and was almost kidnapped by a suspicious person, did you know that? I brought the Empress here because she was unconscious plus the location of her abduction was not far from my mansion. Why don't you ask me first and then you judge me? If it wasn't for me maybe the Empress really lost kidnapped people,” Xander replied lying to Derryl.

Derryl instantly tightened his mouth, wanting to refuse to believe but there was no way Xander would lie with such a reassuring expression. Derryl lowered his hand, his angry look no longer visible from the lines of his face. Slowly he looks surprised to hear the kidnapping incident, some time ago when Alina disappeared she is not as anxious as this.

“Then where is Alina now? Is he hurt? What about the kidnapper? Were they caught?” asked Derryl in a row, he asked as if he did not feel guilty for accusing Xander earlier.

Xander turned the eyeball lazily, inevitably he had to match Derryl with Xena. Although her heart is not willing to watch Xena with other men, but she has to do it because Xena is still disguised as Alina.

“Follow me, I will take you to the room where the Empress rests,” Xander told Derryl to follow her.

Derryl told the knights not to follow him, so he stepped up to where Xander was going to take him. Elsewhere in the same room, Garvin cold sweat sees Derryl suddenly coming to bring his wrath to the mansion, Fortunately Xander comes sooner to confront Derryl, who is, garvin can breathe with relief.

‘Thank God, I was not the target of the Emperor's anger, he could have come unannounced and accused the Duke of kidnapping. Didn't she not care that the Empress disappeared? It's strange indeed the Emperor in this country, Garvin's inner’.

Arriving at the room, Xena still pretended to be asleep, even though what she felt right now was a deep irritation towards Derryl. Xander also thought so, if not for the sake of not thwarting Xena's plan, maybe at that time Derryl's head was already rolling to the ground.

Derryl lost his words, he saw Xena's beautiful face when he fell asleep, while his mind began to lose control so he intended to touch and hold the body of the woman he had neglected all this time. However, before Derryl could drop a hug, Xena woke up first.

“Do you think you want to touch me?” Xena immediately rose from her sleeping position, “BEGANNYA YOU ACCUSED XANDER HAS KIDNAPPED ME! AND AGAIN YOU DON'T APOLOGIZE TO HIM,” Yelled Xena emotionally.

Xander was stunned because Xena scolded Derryl who had accused him, even Derryl was also stunned to hear Xena who called Xander's name by first name, plus they both looked familiar.

“You just called Xander by his first name? Are you two close without my knowledge? Though you have just met, but it could be a Empress close to a man other than the Emperor,” said Derryl carried away an upset atmosphere.

“Did you just switch the conversation? I'm talking about the mistake you just made! If Xander hadn't saved me last night, I'd be dead by now. Then you look weird, why do you suddenly care about me? I was gone for a couple of days but you're not this hot. Know it? That day I was chased by murderers to fall into the abyss, when my palace was destroyed you also slapped me.”

“It's clear you saw your mistress, but instead I got hit, an apology from your mouth I never heard either. Don't you think because you're an Emperor you can be as willing as I am, I hate a man like you who doesn't want to admit wrongdoing and doesn't dare to apologize. You coward!”

Xena scolded Derryl all out, Xander as the audience was very satisfied to see his only brother unable to dwell in front of Xena. The shadow of the past is remembered by Xander, when they were married, Xena still often scolded him only because of trivial problems, such as his habit of putting things carelessly.

“Alina, I didn't mean it that way, only I didn't realize your importance to me. However, now different, I will do anything to protect you, so I beg—”

“I don't need that, because you didn't give me any help at that time, I lost my son. You must not know, right? I was three months pregnant, but because of you I miscarried when I fell into the abyss!”

Xena made up the story, she turned half the story to create the perfect play in front of Derryl's eyes. Xander no longer knew what kind of laughter to hold, he almost let loose in front of Derryl.

‘I'm sorry, Alina, it looks like I'll lie first for a while,’ Inner Xena.
