The arrival of Thorn

“You're up?”

Xena turned around as Xander's voice entered her room, Xena smiled faintly and immediately burst into Xander's arms. The man returned Xena's embrace, stroking Xena's head while releasing the tension inside.

“I'm sorry I worried you, but take it easy because now I'm gaining new powers to strengthen my poison. So, I—”

THE DUAR!

Surprised by the sound of explosions coming from outside the castle, the entire castles ventured into the castle gates to confirm the explosion. From the sky they saw a dark hole shaped like a portal.

"What's going on?"

Xena saw all her subordinates glued to look up towards the sky.

"Miss, look at that." A subordinate of his pointed up at the sky with a stunned expression.

Xena also raised her head up in the sky. Apparently from the portal-shaped hole is a magic creature. There Xena could not help but let the magical creature mess up in her castle.

"Contact Search and others! Have them instantly take a position to attack immediately!" xena's orders run towards the source of the magic creatures' emergence.

Xavier who watched the mother run towards the herd of magic creatures also helped to attack. Xander was so, he forced himself to lighten the burden of Xena at that time.

The situation was getting more complicated, the magic that lay around the territory of the headquarters slowly weakened. Everyone seemed overwhelmed, but they could handle it even though it took longer.

"Damn it! They're endless."

Xena continued swinging the sword and hurling deadly poison at the magical beast. Some of them were easily destroyed.

In the end, Xena and the others finished the battle against the magical beasts. There was severe damage covering the headquarters area.

"Mom, are you okay?" tanya Xavier approached Xena.

"Yes, I'm fine. What about your father? Though he still needed rest, but he jumped into the battlefield."

"Dad is fine too. You don't have to worry about me because I'm so much stronger than you think."

Xena smiled faintly as she rubbed her son's head. At least no casualties due to the attack of the magic creature.

"Miss, are you hurt?" ask Klaus.

"No. Now you just treat the wounded. I just received a little scratch."

Xena was silent looking at the surrounding conditions. I don't know why, this feels so awkward for him.

'What's going on exactly? Could it be that Verden intends to eliminate me before I proceed with my plan?' thought Xena.

In between the complicated thoughts, Xander quietly came to Xena's surprise.

"What are you thinking?" Xander whispered softly in Xena's ear.

The girl was surprised and turned to Xander.

"Xander! Can't you just let me think for a moment?!" nagging Xena.

Seeing the sulking Xena, Xander was not afraid but anxious about the girl's behavior. He immediately grabbed Xena, it felt so warm when close together like this.

"That's because of an emergency, there's no way I'm going to stand idly by to see a magical creature messing up this place."

At the same time, suddenly from space appeared a person who carried a dangerous aura. Xena immediately gasped and determined who broke through the headquarters area.

Both of Xena's eyeballs are perfectly rounded when they find the color of the man who just set foot on the ground. The eyes that were colored like sharp swords, eyes that only Xena had all along.

"Can't be ... Are you the barbarian king?!"

Yes, the man who was now right in front of his eyes was Thorn, the barbarian King as well as Xena's biological father.

Thorn tilted the corner of his lips, he managed to break through the security of the headquarters with great ease.

"My daughter, this is the first time we've met, isn't it?"

Xander quickly pulls Xena away from Thorn. He protects Xena from being hit by unexpected attacks from the crafty man.

"Would you like to come here?!" xander shouted in anger.

"What's wrong with you? You're just an outsider, it's my and Xena's business."

"Xena's mine, you're the outsider."

Xander and Thorn clashed for a few minutes. They have a pointless debate.

'I don't think this will be endless, ' Xena's inner self.

Then a split second intermittently, Thorn surprisingly threw a packet of poison at Xander. Then Xena quickly fended off Thorn's impromptu attack.

"How dare you intend to kill Xander! Your opponent is me! We are both users of poison power. So, don't you occasionally try to touch Xander using your poison" Xena's wrath.

Unexpectedly, Xena would be that angry towards Thorn. The man no longer denied how much Xena loved Xander. However, he did not care, in his eyes Xena was just a container to raise the Demon Queen.

"Your mouth is so insolent. Are you so angry with me? I am your father. You should have welcomed me warmly" Thorn said.

"Welcome you warmly? Your brain seems to have a problem. I would never treat someone who could kill his own daughter! Me and Alina don't have a father like you who's full of abominations."

Thorn laughed when the princess said so. The burning flames twinkled his eyes implying that the abyss of hatred Xena carried was deep.

"Xena, do you dare challenge me?! I'm your father! You should come with me. If I fail to take you this time, then I will accept the punishment. Don't you feel sorry for your father?"

"You're so crazy! Pity for what? You sold me to the Demon King, so what's the pity for? You'd rather die than live hard for others."

Thorn growled at Xena's words, the girl was harder to conquer than her shadow.

"Bad!"

Thorn flicked his hand, a wave of extremely powerful poison began to intimidate the atmosphere. Xena realized at that time that Thorn's poison power was much stronger than his. However, here there was no one who could face Thorn other than him.

"You should come with me, Xena! If you want all your comrades to survive, then you must obey!" press Thorn.

"No! Until whenever I won't go where Verden is!" xena was against Thorn.

Thorn smiled in anguish. "Well, if that's your decision. Then you must die here this very second."
