Brisia Trap

“KYAAAAAA!”

There was the sound of a servant shouting from the living room of the Brisia residence palace. The servant shouted because he saw Brisia unconscious in a state of blood. It was by chance that Xena was in the same room as Brisia. It is thought that the blood came from Brisia.

Xena was summoned by Brisia, so Xena went to Brisia to talk to her. However, when at the end of the emotional chatter, Brisia drank tea that had been served by a waiter. After Brisia drank the tea, there was a strange reaction from Brisia. Suddenly Brisia's stomach was racked with excruciating pain that made her bleed profusely. Xena saw him bewildered as he himself did nothing against Brisia.

“Please! Help u! Her Majesty The Empress has been harmed by Concubine Alina!” exclaim the servant who witnessed the fall of Brisia.

His cry resonated all the way to the palace hallway, a number of knights and servants flocked to their place. Xena seemed confused by this over-acting, it was obvious that Brisia wanted to

getting rid of Xena in a dirty way. Even what makes Xena tick is that Brisia dared to sacrifice her son to make Xena fall into the trap she had prepared.

“Sacrificing my own child to set me up. How crazy this woman is, you have chosen the wrong path, Brisia,” Xena said looking coldly at Brisia who was lying on the floor.

When Xena was about to turn around, it turned out that she had been detained first by two knights. Xena did not show the slightest resistance, she instead handed herself over to the knight. No matter what else Xena was planning, no one knew about it, despite being looked at badly by the people around, Xena ignored them and showed her a haughty face.

“What happened here?!”

Derryl who was unwinding after doing various jobs, he accidentally heard a commotion coming from the living room. Derryl rushed to check what was going on there. When Derryl saw Brisia lying unconscious, he looked so shocked.

“Brisia! Why is Brisia like this? Can't you guys explain it?!” panic Derryl.

“Izin replied, Your Highness.” A waiter who caught Brisia falling down now interjected to explain the situation to Derryl, “The Queen seems to have been poisoned by Concubine Alina,”.

Derryl turned a piercing gaze at Xena, but he was forced to postpone his anger first because Brisia's condition was very worrisome. Derryl hurriedly carried Brisia towards his room. While Xena was temporarily detained by the knights so that she did not run away.

“Come on call the palace doctor!” derryl's orders are getting anxious.

A few minutes later, a doctor came to check on Brisia's condition. There is also Gylda – Queen Mother who went straight to the main palace after hearing the news of Brisia fainting. The atmosphere around that time was hit by great tension, they were worried that something bad would happen to Brisia.

“How is it?” ask Derryl.

“Pardon me, Your Majesty, the child conceived by the Empress could not be saved because the Empress drank a poison so powerful that her womb was unable to withstand the attack of the poison,” explained the doctor.

Derryl ruffled his hair, frustrated when he heard the doctors' explanation of his dead son.

“Then what about the Empress? Is she okay?” ask Gylda.

“Thankfully the Empress is fine, it looks like the poison was made specifically to abort the womb,” replied the doctor.

Xena heard the doctor's explanation in the corner of the room room, she was still in the position of being held back by two knights. Derryl quickly approached Xena with a face that held a tremendous anger, Xena was waiting happily what Derryl would do next.

Xena turned the lazy eyeball, then she scrunched her forehead while a small peck looked at Derryl.

“What did I poison him for? Is there any benefit I have gained after poisoning that woman? Then did that waitress really see me pouring poison into Brisia's drink? You should be able to cleverly investigate this incident, instead of accusing me of doing such a useless thing!” reply Xena raised her tone of speech.

Derryl who was drowning in the waves of emotions subconsciously landed a slap into Xena's cheek. Gylda came in, he was furious after remembering what Xena did a few days ago and what he did today to Brisia.

“Do not dodge again, Alina!” chirps Gylda.

“Evicted? What should I avoid? I have no interest in reclaiming the Empress' position, let alone taking the Emperor's attention from Brisia. Because what? Because I don't feel like I need all that.”

“Basic you crazy woman!” Gylda grabbed Xena's hair because she was already emotional and furious to hear Xena's reply.

“Already, Mom! Stop it right now! It's my business, so I beg you not to interfere,” Derryl's leerai pulled Gylda away from Xena immediately.

Xena's pair of eyes momentarily turned cold and sharp, she let out a killing aura to the point of making Gylda's breath clench. Gylda widened in shock watching Xena look at him, as if Gylda's life was being absorbed as she looked back at Xena's eyes.

‘Did he just threaten me with his eyes? Why did it feel like my body was so scared when she looked at me? Nah! I must not show my fear to her, Gylda's inner’.

At the same time, Brisia woke up from her stupor, she looked surprised as soon as she saw that there were many people in her room. Brisia felt her stomach, but she felt that her stomach was light and did not see any signs of pregnancy.

“My son ... Which child? Your Majesty, where is my son? Please return my child ...”

Brisia is hysterical, she screams while crying when she does not find the child she contains. Derryl immediately calmed Brisia down with a hug, though it meant nothing to Brisia.

“Brisia, calm yourself,” said Derryl tightened his deck.

“I'm sorry, Brisia, we've lost our son. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you,” said Derryl full of warmth.

Gylda looked sadly at Derryl and Brisia, he did not expect that such an incident would happen. Though he had imagined that he would have grandchildren from Brisia, but unexpected events befall them all so he had to bury deeply in his shadow.

“Doctor, can the Empress still get pregnant again after this?” gylda asked the doctor who was still there.

“Pardon me once again, the Empress could not conceive anymore because the poison caused infertility. Until now there is still no one to find an antidote from the poison, only a miracle that can lift the sterility,” explained the doctor once again.
