Masha looked at the wounds in her hands, and now she felt sure that her back was no less severe, seeing the reaction that Doni had shown earlier.
That's not how much.
Not to mention the part of Masha's leg that gets the same hard lash.
Masha rolled up the legs of her trousers made of hollycrepe cloth, up to the knee, and saw the scars that were there.
It looks horrible, really horrible.
Well then, except for the front thigh, all the way to the chest, the rest of the rest of his body might have the same scar.
Not long after, Doni returned with water in a basin, then sat down near Masha.
Doni looked more surprised and agitated, when he saw Masha's legs open up to his knees.
"What kind of man is your father?" doni's voice sounded up and vibrated.
The young man seemed to shake his head, while still staring at the wounds on Masha's body that he could see.
"I cleaned the wound first. I'll just apply the medicine later" said Doni.
Dripping a little antiseptic into the water in the basin, Doni then cleaned Masha's wounds, using a cotton swab that he dipped in the water mixed with antiseptic.
Masha grimaced in pain, as the wet cotton touched the wounds on her hands.
Doni stopped his movements, and stared fixedly at Masha.
"I'm sorry... I know that must have hurt a lot. But, before I can treat it, inevitably I have to clean it first," said Doni, with a sad look on his face.
Masha nodded her head.
Slowly, Doni continued to clean the dry blood that had hardened in Masha's skin.
Doni's hands were trembling, as he rubbed slowly on Masha's wounds.
The pain is unbearable anymore.
The pain that became so, making Masha unable to stem her tears.
Masha cried, holding her hand against moving while still cleaning Doni.
Unexpectedly, Doni approached, held the back of Masha's head, and gently kissed Masha's forehead.
"I'm sorry... Please bear the pain first...!" said Doni quietly.
Masha said nothing, and just continued to cry, without making any sound of her crying.
The movement of Doni's hands was really slow when cleaning Masha's wounds, but still painful and painful, to make Masha could not stop crying.
After both of Masha's hands were clean enough, Doni dripped some red medicine, on the part of the wound whose skin was gaping.
The more painful it felt, and Masha wanted to just shout at that moment, but she held back all her pain, until her hands trembled.
Doni stood up from it, and walked out again carrying a basin filled with water, which was reddish in color, because it mixed with Masha's blood.
Masha blew the wounds in her hands, with little hope that her pain could quickly disappear.
Doni then returned to the room with clean water, and just like earlier with a few drops of antiseptic, Doni again clean the wounds on the legs Masha.
Masha was still enduring the pain and agony when her legs were cleaned.
But, not so when Doni cleans the wound on the back of Masha.
Masha's thin body this time trembled violently, enduring her pain, though now she no longer cried.
"If I take a quick look, it seems that the buttocks and hamstrings are still injured. Will you let me treat him?" ask Doni quietly.
Masha shook her head.
"No need. Let it... I can't stand her pain anymore either." said Masha, who was still shaking violently.
Doni brought out all the cotton garbage, and a basin filled with dirty water, out of the room.
For some time Masha endured her pain, finally the pain of her wounds began to diminish and almost disappeared.
Doni had not yet returned to the room, leaving the door open.
Until some time later, Doni was still not seen or heard his voice outside the room.
It was as if the young man was indeed exiting the building, leaving Masha alone.
There was not much Masha could do, other than hope that Doni really intended to help her, and if Doni were to leak to the Masha family where Masha was now, she could only resign.
Masha stood up from the floor, and walked out, and continued walking towards the toilet that Doni had pointed at earlier.
When Masha looked at the front, the room was empty, as well as at the back.
Meaning, Doni did indeed leave that place.
Masha went into the toilet to urinate, which she had since held until she almost wet her bed, as the pain of her wounds was cleaned and treated.
When Masha finished cleaning herself in the toilet, and walked out of it, the front door opened, and Doni was seen coming through the door, carrying a plastic bag in her hand.
"Have you felt better?" doni asked, walking closer to Masha.
"Yes," Masha replied as she continued walking, heading to the room.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you when I left. I bought food and extra ointment, just in case your wounds can't heal quickly" said Doni.
Masha did not comment, and went into the room and sat on the floor, followed by Doni who also sat there.
"Eat with me, huh?!" said Doni, then took out two packages of food and some bottles of mineral water, while the rest of the goods in the plastic bag, put Doni near the closet.
Doni stood up and walked out.
Not long after, Doni returned to the room, carrying two tablespoons.
"I just bought satay. That's all the food that the merchant is not too far from this place" said Doni.
Masha looked at Doni fixedly.
The young man seemed busy opening the food parcel for Masha, and for himself, then shifting the food closer to Masha.
Doni then raised his face, and saw Masha who was still looking at him.
"Why?" ask Doni.
"Is there something on my face?" doni asked again hurriedly, wiping his face with his arm.
"Thank you.." said Masha slowly.
Doni stopped wiping his face, then looked at Masha.
"Thank you" said Masha.
"Everything... I'm sorry, if I can't help you much." said Doni.
"Your help is more than enough" said Masha.
"Eat the food, it'll be cold. I don't know if it's good, because it's the first time I've bought it there" said Doni, then smiled.
Masha then ate the satay that Doni bought.
Every now and then, Masha glanced at Doni who was eating in front of her.
"Do you mind if I ask your age?" ask Masha.
"Hmmm... No. gabe. This year I'm twenty-two years old" replied Doni, then smiled, then continued to eat his food.
Masha also continued to eat her food, although occasionally still stealing the opportunity, to see Doni's face.
Meaning, Doni is three years older, when compared to the age of Masha.
