TOXIC: Story of Masha

TOXIC: Story of Masha
The Part 11

While eating the food that Doni bought, Masha occasionally saw the movements of Mike who sat in the chair in front of the computer desk.

Mike seemed to be checking the data entered Masha earlier, by moving the screen down occasionally, while still staring at the object.

Shortly afterwards, Mike leaned back limp in the chair, and looked as if he were relaxing, propping up his chin with one of his hands, with his elbows resting in the arm of a chair.

Is there something wrong with Masha's work?

Due to her slightly anxious feelings, Masha almost lost her appetite.

Forcibly, because he did not want to waste food, Masha tried to finish the rest of his food, then hurriedly drank water, to encourage food to quickly sink into his stomach.

Doni who had finished eating first, compared to Masha, seemed confused to see the movements of Masha, then asked, asking,

"Are you okay?"

Doni stared fixedly at Masha.

"It's okay... But, is there something wrong?" masha asked, whispering to Doni, pointing at Mike with her eyes.

"Just calm... He always does, if you are checking the data of goods," replied Doni casually.

Masha breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, it means that there is not necessarily something wrong with the work of Masha.

"Is he your age?" masha asked curiously, still with a softly restrained voice.

"Yes. I knew him in Second Grade High School. He's a transfer student from another school" replied Doni.

Hmmmm...

Apparently, Masha's guess is correct.

"How could he have a business like this? At a young age," asked Masha again.

Mike suddenly turned around, with his sitting position still the same as before, and looked at Masha.

"I can hear your conversation. Is there anything else you want to ask?" ask Mike.

"Look down, man... It's only natural that he wants to know about his boss?" doni.

Mike only glanced at Doni with the tip of his eye for a moment, then looked back at Masha with a cold look on his face.

"This is one of my Papa's businesses. I just went on with it" said Mike flatly.

"Is there anything else you want to know?" ask Mike.

"Hmmm... Aren't you hungry?" masha asked curiously, and did not expect an answer from Mike.

"I had lunch before I went here" Mike replied.

Mike's mysterious aura leaves Masha speechless with a million questions in her head, though she has no idea what she wants to ask Mike.

"Satisfied to ask?" ask Mike.

Masha nodded her head.

"Then come with me!" mike said, standing up from his seat.

Masha hurriedly, trying to tidy up the table before she walked up to Mike, but Doni held her back.

"No need... Let me clean this table. You just go after him! Treat your wounds first" said Doni, then kissed Masha on the forehead.

"If treated properly, you will not have a fever like last night" Doni continued.

Masha then walks out to catch up with Mike, who has already left the place first.

Outside, a sedan car is parked, and Mike appears to be sitting in it.

Masha opened the car door, then sat in the seat next to Mike.

There was nothing they talked about along the way.

Mike who was silent and only focused on driving with his eyes staring straight at the street, making Masha also not interested in inviting him to talk.

Mike drives his car, until they arrive at a tall building, which appears to be more than two stories high.

As Mike walked into the building, with Masha following him from behind, a security guard was seen standing at the door, bowing, as if he was saluting Mike.

Mike stood in front of the elevator, and took Masha inside, after the elevator door opened.

Masha simply complied, and followed Mike, without commenting, until Mike pressed the elevator button at eighteen, Masha still remained silent.

When the elevator door opened again, Mike walked up to one of the doors seen in the hallway, opened it, and held the door open.

"Come in! I'll call the doctor to come here" said Mike, holding the door until Masha passed, and walked into the room.

The place looks like a room, but is complete with a mini kitchen, dining table and sofa to watch television.

Part of the balcony, enough to attract the attention of Masha, and make him walk closer to the glass door that leads to the balcony.

"You wanna look out?" ask Mike suddenly.

"Yes. That okay?" ask Masha.

"If you don't intend to jump, you can go out there" replied Mike.

Masha's eyes widened.

Does Masha look like a suicidal person?

Mike walked over to Masha and opened the glass door.

"Remember! If you want to die, don't even think about doing it here" Mike said.

"What's wrong with you? I just want to take a look. Do I look like someone who wants to die?" masha asked, with a voice almost rising.

"Yes. You look like that. But, don't try to complicate my life," Mike replied flatly, as if unperturbed by Masha's vexation.

It felt, Masha wanted to undo her intention to look around from that balcony.

But, instead of having to stay in the room, and becoming increasingly upset at seeing Mike, Masha would still go to the balcony.

Masha walked slowly until she reached the balcony railing, when a fairly strong wind blew, and messed up her long hair that she had stowed.

While leaning against the balcony railing, Masha tried to tidy up her hair, but it seemed that all her efforts were in vain, and she could not resist the fluttering of her hair that messed up her gaze.

Masha turned around and intended to go back inside, away from the balcony.

Due to her eyesight being blocked by her hair, Masha could not see well what was in front of her.

How shocked Masha was, when she hit the body of someone she thought was Mike.

"Sorry!" masha.

As Masha shifted a little to get past the young man, Masha felt that her body was now being held tightly, by hard hands like tree branches, and Masha was as if she was leaning against a warm concrete wall.

"Why can you be this stupid? You can stumble over a chair, or pot a plant and make you fall."

Mike's voice sounded as if he was upset with Masha.

But, despite sounding annoyed, by embracing Masha's shoulder, Mike took Masha walking into the room.

When the gusts had reduced a lot, and his hair no longer covered his vision, Masha then removed the rest of his hair from his face, and removed Mike's embrace from his shoulder.

Masha then walked away from the young man, before she turned around and saw mike, who was still standing glued to his place.

Mike, who was indeed flat and cold, now coupled with an annoyed look, looked at Masha with his sharp eyes.
