TOXIC: Story of Masha

The Part 30

While waiting for Mike to work, Masha remembered the incident last night.

Somehow, Masha was happy when she thought that she could take care of Mike and Doni like that.

There was no objection at all to Masha, even though she was quite exhausted from lack of sleep.

Especially if you remember, before Masha could help the two young men a little, they had already helped Masha.

Neither Doni nor Mike seem to refuse to give attention to the state of Masha.

Masha's daydream is interrupted, as Doni stands up from her seat next to Masha's, and walks towards the bookshelf.

Doni looks picky books there, then return while carrying two books that are not too thick, and thrust one of them to Masha.

"I love books about the law" said Doni, sitting back near Masha, after Masha had received the book.

"Is that? Why a book about business?" masha asked, looking at the title of the book she was currently holding.

"Yes. The book of the law is for me" replied Doni, revealing the title on the cover of the book he was holding.

"If you are, it's appropriate to read a business book... Listen, when you were in school, you were good at counting" Doni continued.

"Hey! How do you know about me?" ask Masha.

"I told you I've liked you for a long time. Of course, I'm looking for information on what you like" Doni replied.

"Hmmm... Except for the young man you like. I don't want to know that, rather than me dying of jealousy" Doni continued, glancing at Masha with the tip of her eye.

"You're taunting me!" masha.

A wide smile expands on Doni's face.

"No. But I don't want to know if you have a boyfriend or not. Because I'm afraid of heartache" said Doni, clasping Masha's hand.

"Not to discuss that. Don't you want to read?" ask Doni.

Masha did not answer Doni's question, and just leaned against the couch, then opened the book sheet in her hand.

While reading the book in his hand, Masha occasionally glanced at Doni and Mike alternately.

Doni looked serious about his reading, as did Mike who was seen staring at his laptop screen, even though the female secretary next to him was saying something to Mike.

The two young men look great.

Maybe if Doni continued his school and studied according to his interests, Doni could be a successful person, and could shut the mouth of gossip in housing.

Masha can't say anything.

Mike has been blessed with the success of his parents, plus Mike seems to work hard, and not only enjoy the success of his father just like that.

When seeing Mike who is serious about his work, and Doni who is serious about his reading, Masha did not understand why one of their parents, someone wanted to waste his children.

Masha, Mike and Doni, must have thought the same thing when they saw Masha, so they both seemed to try to help Masha as much as they could.

"Doni! You don't want to go to college?" ask Masha.

Doni stared fixedly at Masha.

"I want. But, just later... I want my savings, used to marry you first" replied Doni.

"Ckckk..." Masha clicked her tongue.

"I'm talking seriously, but you answer me instead" said Masha.

"Eh! I'm serious! At first my savings were planned for me to go to college. But, since I was able to date you, I changed my plans a little bit" Doni said.

"That's not a little, you know?!" masha, shaking her head.

Doni laughed a little.

"If you don't want to get married, I'll probably go to college in a few months" Doni said.

"But, at least, you have to accept my application first, then I want to go to college," continued Doni.

"Hmmm... You want me to help you get your diploma?" ask Doni.

Masha fell silent while thinking about Doni's words, which she thought were just stale talk.

"How is it?" ask Masha skeptically.

"I'm still thinking about how. So, I can't promise. I can only try to work on it" replied Doni.

"If I manage to take your diploma, you will accept my proposal?" ask Doni.

"Doni.." said Masha slowly.

"Eh! It's not so that I'm eager to find his idea" said Doni.

"I won't force you to marry me. The important thing is that we can get engaged first, so I can be a little more sure that you will be my wife later" Doni continued.

Masha took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

"We'll see later." said Masha.

"okay!" doni replied casually, then continued reading the book.

"If you go to college, what do you want to be?" ask Masha.

"Hmmm... I want to be a lawyer" replied Doni, without taking his eyes off the book in front of him.

Masha nodded her head, then refocused on reading the book that had been lying around for some time, for talking to Doni.

After some time they drowned in his reading, Mike suddenly stood in front of the two of them.

"Let's go! I'm done! You must be hungry, right?" ask Mike.

"Yes," replied Doni, then stood up from his seat, and took the book from Masha's hand, then returned the books to their original place.

"What time is it?" masha asked, standing up from her seat.

Mike pulled the sleeve of his suit, and looked at the watch in his hand.

"It's almost an hour" Mike replied.

"We're eating at a restaurant nearby, rather than going back home" Mike continued.

"Hmmm... Mike! Can we just eat at a roadside stall?" masha asked before they walked out.

Mike was silent for a while while staring at Masha.

"Would you like to eat at a stall like a warteg?" ask Mike.

"Yes" answered Masha.

"okay! Let's go!" take Mike and then walk out of the workspace, followed by Masha and Doni who keep walking behind Mike.

"Once upon a time I became upset at the behavior of the two of you" said Mike, who suddenly stopped walking.

"Eh! Why?" ask Doni.

"You are not my servants. You two are my friends. What have you been walking behind me for?" mike asked, with a displeased face.

"Oh... Just try telling me... No need to be angry," said Doni lightly.

They then walked side by side until entering the elevator, and arrived at the basement.

"We stopped by to eat, and there was a place I wanted to go for a while" Mike said, as they all sat in the car.

"okay!" doni and Masha answered.

Not lingering there, Mike's car has entered the highway.

Masha looked at Mike from the rearview mirror.

If Doni was dressed like Mike is wearing now, Doni would look cool too.

Mike seemed to catch Masha wet looking at him from the rearview mirror, and blinked one eye, then smiled widely, while looking at Masha reflected in the mirror.
