TOXIC: Story of Masha

TOXIC: Story of Masha
The Part 38

Cigarette smoke billowing here, the sound of music vibrating the eardrum.

The scent of perfume mixed with sweat, filled the sealed and stuffy room, which was only in the iridescent of the colorful lights, which was almost useless at all.

Visitors are quite dense, and some of them seem to enjoy the fast rhythmic and stomping music, until they joggle in the middle of the room.

Mixing men and women, with no definite boundaries between them.

Minimal and sexy clothes, mostly so the choice of women in that place now.

Masha will probably regret her decision, to go with Mike and Doni to the entertainment venue that night.

However, Masha was also quite bored if she just stayed in the warehouse, and most of her time was only spent with the two young men.

Masha rolled up the arm of her shirt, as she sat in the chair on one of the maps, which was bounded by another visitor's chair.

Sultry.

That's what Masha first felt, when she walked in with Mike and Doni earlier.

Mike and Doni seemed to go order a drink for them, and just returned with a few bottles of drink.

When Masha noticed one of the bottles being held and sipped slightly by Mike, Masha felt that the emblem attached to the bottle looked foreign.

"What drink is that?" ask Masha.

"Bir" answered Mike.

"Don't you say we won't drink alcohol?!" masha.

"It's that just a little drinking won't get me drunk" Mike said flatly.

Masha then notices Doni's drink, and it looks the same as what Mike is drinking right now.

Masha did not want to comment much, the two young men were not still children.

Whatever choice they make, they know the consequences.

Different from Mike and Doni's drinks, Masha is given regular fizzy drinks.

After a while they were there, Masha felt that there was absolutely no interest in it, and it was boring compared to when Masha was in the warehouse.

Masha doesn't like to listen to music, which was played by disc jockeys.

The color of the music that only relies on beat, in addition to just painful ears, there is not the slightest sign of being able to satisfy Masha who prefers the flow of rock music.

Even so, Masha did not want to invite Mike or Doni to go from there.

Moreover, Mike appeared several times at the temptations of those women who seemed interested in him.

It could be, if Mike really wants to meet women for him, to deliberately invite Masha and Doni to go to that place.

Minutes passed, until finally it was almost an hour they were there, with no one talking to each other, other than the question about the drink.

Not without reason.

Besides because you may not know what to discuss, the noise of the place, will make people have to half scream in the ears of the interlocutor, in order to hear what is being talked about.

And that's exhausting of course.

By now, Masha was already feeling really bored.

With her feet, Masha nudged Doni's legs sitting not far from her.

Doni then leaned towards Masha.

"What's wrong?" ask Doni.

"I'm bored! Can we get out of here?" ask Masha.

Doni straightened his body again, and seemed only silent for a while, before he was seen leaning back toward Mike.

Doni appears to be talking to Mike, and Mike looks toward Masha.

Not long after, Mike again looks like he's talking to Doni.

After that, Doni stood up from his seat, and extended his hand towards Masha.

Doni walked out of the place, while carrying Masha with him.

When they were already in the area that was not too noisy, Doni then said to Masha, saying,

"We can use a taxi or motorcycle taxi to return to the warehouse first. Mike still wants to spend his time in that place."

"Hmmm... Okay!" masha.

"Oh yes! Aren't you hungry?" ask Doni.

"We can stop by to eat first, before we go back to the warehouse," continued Doni again.

"I want some fried rice" replied Masha.

Doni looks mangosteen understand.

Before they hitch a ride back to the barn, Doni and Masha walk down the sidewalk, looking for vendors selling food around.

"What's wrong with Mike?" ask Masha.

"Why are you asking?" Doni asked back.

"It's okay. I just feel like tonight is a little different than usual" replied Masha.

"Usually if we don't want to survive where we go, he will also go from there with us" continued Masha.

"Hmmm... Maybe there's something he's thinking about right now" said Doni flatly.

From a distance, there are several tents of food merchants standing on the side of the road, on the sidewalk.

Masha and Doni choose to stop by one of the merchant tents, which they first meet.

The coldness of the night was only felt, after Masha sat waiting long enough, until the food order was cooked.

The smell of the spice spread in almost every direction, provoking Masha's hunger, making her feel a bit impatient to eat immediately.

Finally their order was delivered, and presented on a table where they both sat waiting.

"It's not that I don't appreciate your gift ring, but... Does that not interfere with your savings for college expenses?" masha asked after chewing and swallowing a spoonful of her food.

"No... I still have a few months left to save the extra money" replied Doni.

"Hmmm... But, you like my ring of choice?" continued Doni.

"of course. This ring is so beautiful" replied Masha.

Doni seemed to smile widely, then continued to eat his food.

"We can go to college at the same time later." said Doni.

"You can already think about, want to study at which university," continued Doni.

"Hmmm... I might try to enroll in a university again, which I should have been able to study on a scholarship back then" Masha said.

"Where's that?" ask Doni.

Masha then mentioned the name of a city, which was quite far from the city they now live in.

"That place is far from here." said Doni with furrowed brows.

"May I know why, until you choose to go there?" ask Doni.

"I intend to try again, just in case I can get a scholarship there," replied Masha.

"Thus, my tuition fees won't get me into much trouble" Masha continued.

Doni lowered his gaze, and looked at his dinner plate.

"Not to get away from me, is it?" ask Doni.

"No. Don't think like that...! You can sign up there, if you stay close together" replied Masha.

"University is quite large, with many choices of majors that are almost complete" continued Masha.

Doni was seen nodding his head, and just like Masha, continued to eat his food until it ran out.
