Narrated by Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu anhu that the Prophet Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said:“Allh has written upon Adam's son his share of adultery, then surely he met him: The zina of his two eyes is to behold, his oral zina is a word, his zina of heart is hope and wishful thinking. And that is all allowed and denied by ***********.”

"If you keep away from the great sins among the great sins which you are forbidden to commit, we will take away your sins (your little sins) and We will put you in a glorious place (heaven)" (Q. S. An Nisa: 31).

Zina is an act that is strictly forbidden by God. Zina is one of the great sins, after shirk and murder. This is explained in the letter of Furqon verse 68.

''And those who do not worship the other Lord with Allah and do not slay the soul that Allah has forbidden (killed) except with (reason) that is true, and does not fornicate, and do not commit adultery, whosoever does so, He shall have (revenge) of his (sin)'' sin''

"Women who fornicate and men who fornicate, then every one of them will be whipped a hundred times, and let not your mercy on them prevent you from (running) the religion of God, if ye believe in Allah, and the Hereafter, and let (the execution) of their punishment be witnessed by a group of believers." (Q.L. An Nur: 2).'' clearly Eve at length.
