آيَةُ المُنافِقِ ثَلاثٌ: إذا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وإذا وعَدَ أخْلَفَ، وإذا اؤْتُمِنَ خانَ

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ؛ فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْبِرِّ، وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَصْدُقُ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ صِدِّيقًا، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْكَذِبَ؛ فَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْفُجُورِ، وَالْفُجُورَ يَهْدِي إِلَى النَّارِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَكْذِبُ حَتَّى يُكتب عند الله كذاباً

“It is mandatory for you to be honest. Because honesty leads to goodness and goodness it leads to heaven. Someone who is always honest, he will be written on the side of God as Shiddiq (a very honest person).
