If someone does you bad, especially if they are your relatives, your friends, they do you bad, both through their speech and their deeds, then repay them with kindness. If they break the friendship with you, then reconnect the friendship. If they do zholim to you, then forgive.

If they insult you, behind you or in front of you, do not turn them back, even forgive them, and reply them with a gentle word. If they ignore you, do not want to talk to you, then start greeting them, treat them well.

Surely if you have done all that, one day they will turn to like you, who were previously hostile to you, turning to be your loyal friend.

Verily, the heart of man is between His fingers, He who turns the heart of man according to His will. It is easy for God to turn hate into love or vice versa.
