Three Cross - Time Youths

Three Cross - Time Youths
Big Fight

The biggest stadium in the city was packed with spectators. Cheers and applause echoed in the air. In the middle of the stadium, a martial ring stood majestic, surrounded by floodlights that shone every inch of its surface. The scoreboard features the names "Jayak" and "Aryo", the present-day martial arts champions.

In a corner of the stadium, Jayak was warming up with Kunta and Mado by his side. “You need to be calm and focused,” message Kunta while patting Jayak on the shoulder.

Mado added, “Don't forget to take a deep breath. Calm yourself.”

Jayak nodded, “I'm ready. I'll show you our ancient martial power.”

As Jayak climbed into the ring, the crowd's cheers increased. Aryo, a young man with an athletic body and a handsome face, was already waiting on the other side. His smile was cynical, his eyes judging Jayak from head to toe.

“So you're an ancient fighter who has stolen everyone's attention?” aryo asked in a mocking tone.

Jayak smiled calmly, “I'm only here to fight, not to talk.”

The fight started quickly. Aryo with his agile movements tried to attack Jayak, but Jayak was able to dodge with graceful and elegant movements. Several times, Jayak managed to strike Aryo with powerful punches and kicks, leaving the crowd cheering in awe.

However, as the fight grew fiercer, Jayak felt that something was stuck in his right leg. His shoes were tied with long threads. Every time he tried to move, the thread pulled on his shoes, tripping him. Aryo, seeing the opportunity, further increased his attacks.

Jayak tries to untie the thread, but whenever he almost succeeds, Aryo attacks him. In his confusion, Jayak decides to use a "dancing" style to evade Aryo's threads and attacks. His movements became a combination of dance and martial arts, making the audience laugh out loud.

Kunta and Mado at the edge of the ring, looking anxiously. “What does he do?!” kunta Exclamation.

Mado can only shake his head, “That's Jayak style. Always full of surprises.”

In the ring, Aryo looked confused. He does not know how to deal with the movement "dancing" Jayak. Several times, Jayak even managed to attack Aryo with a kick that ended with a pirouette.

After a few minutes that looked like an eternity, Jayak finally managed to untie the thread that bound his shoes. He refocused, and with a series of quick moves, managed to defeat Aryo.

The audience cheered in admiration and gave a standing ovation. Jayak bowed respectfully towards Aryo, who looked surprised but admitted defeat gracefully.

As Jayak descends from the ring, Kunta and Mado approach him with faces full of pride. “You are amazing!” kunta Exclamation.

Mado laughs, “Although with your dancing style..

Jayak smiled, “Sometimes, we have to adapt to the situation, right?”

Amidst the cheers of the crowd, the three walked out of the stadium, with hearts full of pride and satisfaction. An unforgettable fight, where tradition meets modern, and where chaos becomes triumphant.

Mado sat upright backstage, sipping tea from a cup served in the waiting room of a television studio. The fluorescent colors of the studio lights reflect light on the glass-covered walls, giving a futuristic feel away from past memories.

“Mado, five more minutes you will be on-air!” shouted the assistant producer, a brown-haired young woman who was wearing a headset and talking quickly.

Kunta and Jayak sat next to him, trying to give him some encouragement. “Remember, use simple language. Don't be too complicated,” Jayak.

Mado nodded, her face looking serious. “I'll try.”

Not long after, the theme music of the show began to reverberate, and Mado was ushered onto the stage. A spotlight light rained down on his face, while hundreds of pairs of eyes stared at him from the audience seats.

The host, a handsome-faced man with neatly combed dark hair, greeted him warmly. “Welcome to 'Sorotan of the Week', Mado! We are very excited to have you here.”

Mado lowered her head briefly as a greeting, “Thank you for inviting me, sir.”

“Before we start,” says the host, “how do you feel now, becoming a sudden celebrity in the present?”

Mado looked confused for a moment, "Seleb..riti? Ah, you mean like the famous war hero of my village?"

The audience laughter broke. The host smiled, trying to explain, “Not exactly. A celebrity is someone who is famous in the entertainment world. Like an actor, singer, or writer like you.”

The look on Mado's face showed her confusion. “Ah, understand. I feel like getting a lot of attention, but sometimes it makes me miss the simplicity of my village.”

Mado stared far away, “I miss my past. Want to tell the beauty and difficulties of life in our time.” He then added in a joking tone, “And of course, avoiding the ‘ magic stones that you call laptop.’

The laughter of the audience broke again. The host laughed, “Ah, sure! How does it feel to adapt to today's technology?”

Plainly, Mado replied, “It's like trying to understand a language I've never heard before. Very challenging.”

The show continues with a series of questions that mostly leave Mado confused. However, that is precisely what keeps the audience entertained. Her innocent expression and old-fashioned way of speaking became an unexpected comedy treat.

When the show ended, Mado returned backstage, greeted by Jayak and Kunta with a round of applause.

“You are amazing!” kunta Exclamation.

Jayak added, “Although you are confused by many things, you remain authentic. That's what makes the audience like you.”

Mado smiled widely, “Thank you. I'm happy to make people laugh, albeit unintentionally.”

The three leave the studio with happy hearts, enjoying life in an unfamiliar yet adventurous age.

A spacious room with pastel-colored walls, illuminated by chandeliers that give a warm impression, became the perfect location for the Jayak victory party. A golden and silver balloon decoration hung on the ceiling, twitching along with the airflow.

Jayak, who had just arrived, looked surprised by the presence of the many people who were already waiting for him in the room. “What is this?” he asked with a surprised yet pleased expression.

“Congratulations! We are proud of you!” exclaimed Mado, hugging Jayak tightly.

Kunta added, “You have proven that the martial arts of the past are no less great than the present.”

Laughing, Jayak replied, “Thank you. But to be honest, the long thread that tied my shoes gave me a little help.”

Jayak's friends took turns to congratulate him. However, a strange scent began to smell from the kitchen. Some guests started whispering, wondering what was being cooked.

From the kitchen, there was the sound of a microwave operating. Kunta, with good intentions, tried to heat up some dishes using a microwave. However, with his limited knowledge of present-day technology, he mismanaged time and temperature.

Suddenly, a small explosive sound rang out from the kitchen, followed by thick smoke filling the room. The smoke alarm went off loudly, sending some guests into a panic.

Mado shouted, “What happened?!”

With a shocked expression and a pale face, Kunta emerged from the kitchen, his hands filled with scorched food scraps. “I... I just want to heat food.”

Jayak, though surprised, started laughing. “Cunta, what are you doing with the microwave?”

Scratching his confused head, Kunta replied, “I thought it was like a bonfire. I put the food and wait until it ripens.”

Mado patted his forehead, but his smile showed that he could not be angry at Kunta. “You should have asked me or Jayak first.”

Some of the guests started to help clean the kitchen and let out smoke. Although the situation seemed chaotic, the atmosphere remained cheerful. Guests started laughing, sharing stories of their hilarious mistakes when they first got to know the technology.

A guest commented, “I remember the first time I used a blender. I forgot to close it and the whole room was full of smoothies.”

Laughter echoed throughout the room. Jayak hugs Kunta, “Thank you for giving us this unforgettable moment.”

Kunta looked embarrassed, but smiled. “I just want to make tonight special.”

“And you have done it,” added Mado.

The night continued with laughter and joy. Although there were some unexpected incidents, it only added to the fond memories of Jayak's victory party.
