Chapter 41 - Sadam's Critical State

Sadam's obviously having a heart attack. That made Haris and Erine panic instead of overcast.

Now Erine sat in front of the operating room in a state of trembling hands. He also continued to cry for fear that something bad would happen to Sadam.

While Haris, he kept walking back and forth. He feels very agitated. As the closest person to Sadam, he certainly felt worried.

"I'm sorry... This is all because of me.." isak Erine who regretted everything that had happened. "I should have listened to your words, not my heart." he added.

"That's not the most important thing right now, Rin! The most important thing is Sadam's recovery! I'm afraid he's gonna need a heart donor. While I haven't found a suitable heart for him yet" Haris said. He sat down next to Erine. He scooped his face repeatedly.

Shortly after, the doctor who handled Sadam came out. He told Sadam's heart condition was concerning. The doctor also said that Erine and Haris only need to wait until the time of Sadam's death arrives.

"The doctor must be lying! Please tell me how Sadam can heal. We'll do anything!" erine said on the sidelines of her hysterical cry.

The doctor named Evan bowed softly. But he said, "The only thing that can save Sadam is a heart transplant."

Erine speechless. Something happened to his mind. That's giving up his heart for Sadam. He did not think twice because of his love for him.

"Then, is my heart acceptable?" cetus Erine's. Haris and Evan round their eyes at the same time.

"Erine!" shouted Haris who did not expect at all the way of Erine's mind.

"It's okay, Ris. I have to take responsibility for everything" Erine explained, wiping away the tears that filled her face.

Without further ado, Erine nodded straight away.

"Then, come with me for an examination. The sooner the better," Evan asked.

"No! Wait!" Haris was quick to prevent Erine's departure. "Don't overdo it! You don't have to do this! The person who deserves responsibility for all this is me!" emphatically.

"But I'm involved too. Really, it's okay, Ris... I'll-"

"If you're willing to donate your heart, then you must be ready to die. Then do you think about how your father would be alone without you?" Haris is trying to change Erine's mind. His words that mention Drajat, successfully made Erine stunned.

"Are you willing to die for someone who doesn't think you exist over your own father?" Haris deliberately casts doubt on Erine. The woman then sniffled back. Confused by everything that has happened.

"Then, what will happen to Sadam? I don't want him to leave? Just now my heart has soared because of it." said Erine while crying sobbing.

Haris was silent. Slowly he told Erine to sit down. Then tell the woman to calm down.

"I'll make sure Sadam's okay. Be calm... I'll find a heart donor for her as soon as possible" Haris said. He left Erine for a moment. Haris is seen leaving with Evan.

Erine, now alone, was drowning in deep sadness. Although Sadam had not fully left, he was getting more and more upset. That's because Erine doesn't know what to do. Nor did he leave his sick father. Things were really complicated for Erine.

"Sadams... Ii'm sorry... I hope a miracle can come to you," murmured Erine hoping with sincerity.
