The Wife of the Replacement CEO Blind

The Wife of the Replacement CEO Blind
Chapter 36 - Changing Prescription Drugs

"No, Honey! I don't need to be taken to the hospital." Erine hastily rejected Sadam's offer.

"But..."

"You can just tell Haris to call the doctor here. Can you?" crop Erine.

Sadam was silent for a moment. He thought Erine's proposal was a good idea.

"You're right. Then I'll have Haris call the doctor here" Sadam said as he moved in front of Erine.

Now Erine could snort a sigh of relief. He sat down and watched Sadam who was walking slowly with his cane. The man seemed to be getting used to it. Sadam's footsteps were not as slow as usual.

Erine immediately took the phone. Tell Haris about calling the doctor home. Erine was sure Haris could handle that well.

When he got out of the room, Sadam called Haris. His secretary came soon.

"What's up, Mister?" ask Haris.

"Call the doctor to check on my wife. It seems like he has a pretty severe fever" Sadam ordered.

"Good, Master!" sahut Haris's. He was acting obedient as usual. In fact, Haris had called the doctor when he got Erine's message.

Shortly after, the doctor arrived. Haris was the first to see the doctor. He had to make a deal for the doctor to lie. Until finally the doctor cooperated.

After chatting with Haris, the doctor named Anwar came to Sadam and Erine's room. He tells Sadam that Erine is sick from exhaustion and stress.

Sadam believed what Anwar said. "Thank you, Doc. I'll take good care of my wife and give her medicine in time" he said.

"Yes, you're welcome." Anwar replied with a wry smile. He looked towards Haris. He forgot to discuss medicine with the man.

"Just calm. I can handle that. Just give me any medicine." Haris spoke without a voice. But the movement of his mouth can be read by Anwar clearly.

The doctor agreed. He immediately gave Sadam medicine. Acting like actually prescribing medicine to a sick person.

Erine who saw was actually worried. He was afraid that Sadam would be forced to take medicine. Erine just hopes Haris can really handle it well.

After Anwar left, Sadam sat down beside Erine. He told the girl to rest.

"I think the best way is to find an eye donor for you" Erine said. 'And heart donors of course.' he added in his heart.

"If I am destined to see again, then I am sure I can get it" Sadam said, smiling faintly. He immediately let Erine rest. The man threw himself next to Erine. Let the girl lean her head against her shoulder.

"You'll get it, Sadam. You're a very good man" said Erine. Really, he felt very comfortable because he was in Sadam's arms.

As Sadam was off guard, Haris quietly walked into the room. He brought candy in the form of drugs to be exchanged for drugs that the doctor had prescribed.

Erine's eyes were rounded as she watched Haris' arrival. He did not forget to occasionally look towards Sadam. Making sure the man is unaware of Haris' actions.

Haris managed to exchange Erine's medicine for candy. But when he was about to leave, his elbow accidentally nudged a glass filled with water. The glass cup sounded. A stroke of luck to Haris as his glass did not fall to the floor.

"What's that?" Sadam immediately changed his position to sit.

"It's nothing. I was gonna have a drink. But don't want to bother you." Erine immediately raised her voice to protect Haris.

That was when Haris stepped towards the door. He tried hard so that his existence was not discovered by Sadam.

"Why didn't you say? I can get you a drink" said Sadam who immediately got out of bed. He wanted to get drinks for his wife.

"No need, dear. I can take it myself. I could really. I was just too lazy to move." Erine seems to be good at making false excuses.

"You sure?" Sadam.

"Yes. Lie down again" suggested Erine as she led Sadam back on her back. He took a glass with a drink and drank it. Erine also did not forget to offer Sadam for a drink. Next they go back to sleep while clutching each other.

A few hours passed. Erine was the first to wake up. His attenuation was directly fixed to the phone that looked lit and vibrating.

Erine hastily picked up the phone. He found there was an unanswered call from the hospital.

"Dad!" mummified Erine. He hurried out of the room. He chose the balcony as a safe place. There Erine called back to the hospital. He was afraid that something bad might happen to his father.

On the other hand, Sadam had just woken up. His forehead creased as he did not find Erine beside him.
