"Jeez, Lolita!" pekik Sari's.

The woman smiled. "How are you?"

"Ba-well," said Sari. "When did you come home from abroad?"

"A week ago. I came home because I wanted to get married. Now I'm gonna get tetanus. Didn't expect to see you here."

The outpatient room door opens with the figure of Elno. Seeing that Lolita smiled as she did not expect to meet an old friend.

"Loh, Elno here is also apparently," said Lolita.

Elno gasped to find her college friend. "Lolita!"

"Didn't you recognize me?"

"When are you coming home?" ask Elno.

"The same question. A week ago. I no longer work in Singapore. Move to a private bank here, and I come home because I'm getting married" Lolita said. "Why are you together?"

"Me and Sari are married couples" Elno said.

"What?" Lolita was a little surprised. "Don't you have a wife?"

"Remember what happened when we drank together?"

Lolita laughs. "Because of sleeping one night with Sari, you can't possibly marry her, right?"

"I've—"

"Lolita, you want to meet our daughter?" bargain with Sari by cutting out Elno's answer.

"Can too. Didn't know you had kids."

"I stayed a while. You go on," said Elno then passed away.

Sari invited Lolita in after Elno walked quite far from her sight. Lolita did know Sari even though the two studied in different majors.

"What's this about? You married Elno who already had a wife. Isn't it shame to be a snatch on people's husbands? After all, Elno also loved his wife" said Lolita.

"The proof is that Elno married me and we have a child" Sari replied as she showed a sleeping Finola.

"What exactly happened?" lolita asked, "that week, I went to Singapore. You framed Elno by pretending to be pregnant?"

"Absolutely you!" sergeant Sari.

Lolita laughs. "I remember when you woke up together in the room, you and Elno seemed to think it was the wind. Did you guys really sleep together?"

"You want to interrogate me, huh?"

"I woke up on the couch with Ilmi. Well, Tedy found you guys in his room" said Lolita.

"I was pregnant with Elno's child after the incident" Sari said.

"Seriously?"

"The proof has been born our daughter named Finola," replied Sari.

Lolita nodded. "Then Elno's wife?"

"They're divorced."

Lolita raised her eyebrows. "so apparently. You guys didn't invite me. I thought it was just the wind. Don't you take the Pill often?"

Sari gasped at Lolita's words. "What are you talking about, anyway?"

"Well, you said it to me."

Lolita looked closely at Sari. Apparently the events at Tedy's house aren't as simple as they seem. Unfortunately, Lolita went to Singapore to work. He really missed the news.

"Say you want to inject tetanus. Mending immediately see a doctor," said Sari.

"Oh, it's actually just a procedure. I pull it off, deh. May your daughter recover soon" said Lolita.

Sari smiled. "Thank you for your prayers."

Lolita came out of Finola's hospital room. Sari was only able to breathe a sigh of relief after the woman's departure. Lolita could return after a few years in Singapore.

"It looks like this situation is bad. Lolita can destroy everything. Why'd he come back, anyway?" gerutu Sari's.

...****************...

Meanwhile, Ilmi gets closer to Kara. He always accompanied Kara wherever she went. Comforting the sad woman. Kara looked strong in front of Elno. In fact, he was devastated by this divorce.

Elno is his love, and out of love he has to let go. Just wait for the final decision until then their relationship officially ends. Kara will assume her new status as Elno's widow.

What else can be maintained? It's clear that Elno has maintained her second marriage more than Kara. A new life that makes Elno willingly throw away his old love. Her responsibility to a child is more important than Kara's bone-chugging for their decent lives.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" ask Ilmi.

"It seems I don't need to come. Wouldn't it be obvious that we agreed to separate?" kara said.

"That's up to you. I will always be by your side" said Ilmi.

Kara smiled. "Thank you for being with me all this time."

"I've always harbored my feelings, Kara. I'm late to reveal everything. Can you open the door of the heart to a man like me?" ilmi.

"Ilmi, I don't intend to be in a relationship anymore. I'm afraid of failure" Kara said.

Ilmi grabs Kara's hand. "I will wait until you are ready to accept me. For years my feelings have not changed. I have to let you go with my best friend. For this opportunity, Kara. Allow me to enter your heart. Treating the wounds you have. Let me make you happy."

Kara smiled and returned Ilmi's hand. "Thank you for understanding me."

It was just that speech Kara gave in response. Bad taste haunts. Accept not willing, but refuse also reluctant. There are feelings that do not want to make Ilmi's heart hurt for sure. More because Ilmi helped him a lot.

The next day, accompanied by Ilmi and a lawyer, Kara arrives for their final trial. Including Elno who was accompanied by his legal counsel.

The two sit side by side. Listen to the judge speak, and the hammer beats become a marker if Kara and Elno officially divorce. They are no longer a husband and wife couple both religiously and nationally.

Elno closed her eyes when she heard the decision. While Kara lowered her head. Sad for sure, but both have made the best decision.

Kara got up from her seat first. Shake hands with the party who helped the trial process, then come out with the loyal Ilmi as a companion.

Elno smiled bitterly at the closeness of her ex-wife and best friend. Kara no longer looked at him. The hatred was too great and all this was indeed worth Elno getting. Kara walked quickly to the black car. The car that Ilmi drove because the gift vehicle from Elno was still in the old house.

"Get back, Kara," said Elno.

Wasted that hope. Kara has been in the car with Ilmi. Seat belt installed. Kara steals the lyrics on the man who still faithfully stands in his place. He pretended to rub his hair by looking to the side. Seeing Elno from the windshield was enough for Kara.

Why don't you stop me, Kara's inner.

"Are you okay?" ask Ilmi.

"Yes, I'm good," Kara replied quickly, "we're going now."

Ilmi nodded then drove her car out of the courthouse. Kara wants to get to the apartment quickly. He is not strong enough to hold tightness in the heart. Her eyes were glazed by the puddle of water that was ready to fall if Kara blinked.

"Crying, Kara. If it makes you better" said Ilmi.

"I'm doing fine. Really!" kara Sahut.
