The Wife (The Persecuted Wife)

Delia's Advice

As hard as Kara tried to validate Elno and Sari's relationship, her heart still hurt. Imagine the night before Elno was with her and the next night with another woman. More pain Elno secretly sneaks into Sari's room as she falls asleep.

It's like Elno is hanging over her affair, and Kara feels unacceptable because she has accepted Elno. She allowed her husband to touch her. If Elno wants warmth, Kara can give her. No matter what Sari's movements, she sure could rival him. Bad prejudices are starting to come. Is it true that Elno can not let go of Sari because of her service? Then, how is Kara's position in front of the man? The promise Elno made a few hours ago. That question kept on lingering in Kara's mind.

Tears unfortunately came down without Kara's will. He was tight and he had trouble breathing. An invisible wound, but Kara could feel the pain.

"Kara, not the door" cried Elno. "I can explain it to you."

Kara smiled bitterly. Explain what Elno meant. Kara doesn't deserve to be angry because Sari deserves what Elno gave her. Only Kara's heart is not ready.

"Darling, I'm sorry" said Elno from out there.

Kara walked into the bathroom. Turn on the cold water tap, then wash his body. Cold water can cool a hot mood.

"Don't imagine. Don't remember. Let it go" Kara said to herself.

Many times Kara said those words to strengthen herself. Kara leaned against the wet wall with water flowing into her body. Long enough for his palms to wrinkle. Kara turned off the shower faucet, then looked apparently in the mirror.

"It's okay. I can hold it," he said.

Kara gave birth to clothes by wearing a kimono towel. He came out and laid himself on the bed. There were no more knocks on the door and voices from Elno. Maybe tired of being ignored. Kara closed her eyes. The cold body made the drowsiness come. Hoping that when he opened his eyes, the thing he saw never happened.

Kara woke up when she heard a knock on the door. However, it was not Elno's voice that he heard, but a woman and definitely not Sari.

"Mrs, it's me, Auntie."

Kara wakes up from her sleep and then gets out of bed. The aunt who cleaned the house came and was about to clean the room.

The door opened and Kara wanted to close it. Elno was apparently in front and deliberately told their housekeeper to knock on the room.

Elno held the door shut. "You can't be like this. I can clear it."

Kara retreated backwards as Elno exerted force pushing the door. He came in and shut the door and locked it.

"No need to explain. I understand" said Kara.

"I was wrong for denying you. But, I also denied Sari. I should have been with him last night. I'm just doing my job, Kara. I would have sinned if I hadn't given him that" Elno said.

A sin? Then, what Elno and Sari did first. They are drunk to the point of making a mistake and the victim is Kara.

"By sneaking into Sari's room quietly? Then, what did you promise me last night for?" kara said.

"Darling, at first I just wanted a drink. Sari was crying in the room and she felt unfairly treated. I just run it."

Elno gasped at hearing that. "I never thought so at all. You remember, Kara. I'm the one who always misses you. Loving you. We fought together a long time ago. You know my sacrifice."

"That was, El. Not anymore. I no longer know you. No more Elno who always put Kara together. There's only Elno who thinks about his second wife's feelings."

"I'm just acting the same way!" elno was upset.

"Nothing in marriage is fair!" challenge Kara.

"I'm tired of you" said Elno. Then open the door, then get out.

Kara sat on her bed. One word from Elno has stated that her husband has grown tired of the attitude he shows.

"Tired?" Kara laughs bitterly. "I'll wait for your actions, Elno."

During the day, Kara visits the restaurant where Delia works. He needs a friend to tell a story. Let go of the little tightness that was raging in his heart.

"How do you think I should?" ask Kara.

"Honestly I don't accept that Sari got everything. Elno has been successful and she lives alone. Well you, go get what except the pain?" delia.

"Elno can't choose. She loves Sari. Moreover, there was a finola among them. Earlier this morning Elno said she was tired with me. Maybe I'll be kicked out of his life soon."

"Yes, according to your story. While with Sari, she acted husband. Elno gives a living to his wife. Well, when with you he acts as a man. He thinks you're his girlfriend."

"I was his affair" Kara protested.

"I mean it." Delia seemed to be thinking of saying the right word for Kara's condition. "You're like a loving couple. He's talking to you like you two are a real couple. The treatment is different" Delia said.

"Obviously Elno loves Sari. That's for sure and he admitted it himself" Kara said.

"Now, yes, Kara. I give you advice. Do not reveal and discuss the matter of Elno who has two wives. Never serve Sari even though it provokes emotions. Don't be a bad woman. If you continue to discuss the matter, Elno herself will be fed up with you. He must be tired of explaining why he could marry Sari. You take it easy" said Delia. "If you can't stand it and you're on the verge of limits, then just go. You enjoy life, huh."

Kara took a long breath. "Maybe there's a point. Thank you for listening to my words."

"You need a friend for a story. Don't get stressed. You are sick, Sari will be happy" said Delia, then laughed.

Kara can only smile. His heartache was slightly reduced after telling the story. Delia's advice has a point. Better Kara enjoy her life.
