The Wife (The Persecuted Wife)

Elno entered the room. Kara was cleaning her face from the makeup that stuck. Elno was silent by taking a change of clothes on the bed that his wife had prepared.

Kara looked at Elno who walked into the bathroom. He took a deep breath, then sipped from his seat. Kara just put herself on the bed.

The awkward atmosphere felt. Elno was angry and Kara heard the quarrel between the husband and wife earlier. Maybe the house Kara lives in will be hell. Because there will be many other fights going on.

The bathroom door is open. Kara closed her eyes. He only heard the sound of footsteps approaching, then cold strokes of the palms. One kiss he felt on the forehead after that he heard the door open and closed slowly.

Kara opened her eyes. Elno came out and finished changing clothes. Drowsiness suddenly disappears replaced by a feeling of pain. Although Kara has not confirmed what her husband is doing down there, but her mind is always bad.

Elno and Sari just had a fight. Maybe her husband is persuading his second wife. Gentle treatment and hugs will be obtained Sari. Kara got off her bed. He deliberately did not wear house slippers, then went out.

Every rung of stairs that Kara passed caused a heartbeat. Kara was afraid that down there she would witness things that she could not accept.

Kara hesitates to peek when she hears Elno's voice and Sari's cry. Both of them did not enter the room. Kara peeked behind the wall. Paying attention to her husband's treatment to Sari.

"Let me dab the cure" said Elno.

Sari gave the ointment to her husband. Elno opened the medicine, then applied a cold ointment to Sari's swollen face. He slapped his wife too hard.

"Don't repeat this deed, Sari. I don't like you complaining. You yourself said you were ready to accept the situation," said Elno.

"But you like Kara better. I see your treatment is different for him. I just need the same treatment as him."

Elno exhaled a rough breath. "I'm lazy to talk about fair treatment of you. Now, I'll just act according to what I want. You guys are making me dizzy."

Elno wanted to get up from her seat, but Sari held the man's arm. Elno leaned against the body of the chair and Sari was laying on her husband's field body.

"I'm sorry. I promise I won't repeat it" said Sari.

Elno gently rubbed the top of his wife's head. He landed a kiss on the forehead. Sari looked up, grabbed her husband's face, then kissed Elno's lips.

Kara's eyes turned to look at him. Her husband kissed another woman's lips. Heartache, but Kara is reluctant to take off the look that made her heart ache. He was still jealous and not sincere even though Elno was making out with his own wife.

"I want you" said Sari.

"Today not yet" refused Elno.

"You just slept in Kara's room. But the living can't stop at me."

"Sleep. Come on, let's go to the room."

Kara quickly climbed some stairs. He closed his lips. The sound of the door opening and that means, Elno and Sari have entered the room. Kara came back down and walked slowly. Directions to a room that is not yet closed.

Inside there, Elno and Sari still put their lips together. Kara could not bear to look again as Sari lowered her nightgown robe. Kara quickly turned to the kitchen. His throat was stuck, he was hard to breathe. Kara took a cold drink from the refrigerator, then drank it straight from the bottle. Some of the drinking water is washed to the face.

Kara took some tissue, then wiped her face. He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly.

"Kara!"

Kara jumped in shock. When her husband was in the kitchen. Kara forced a smile to rise on her lips.

"I'm thirsty" he said.

Kara cleaned the empty bottle, then threw the used tissue into the trash can.

"no need. I've had enough to drink."

Kara walked past her husband. Elno twisted herself to look at his wife who walked first.

"Since when?" ask Elno.

Kara stopped walking, then faced Elno. "What?"

"When have you been in the kitchen?"

Kara smiled. "Even longer. Its alright. I understand my home life now."

"I didn't fuck her" said Elno.

Kara smiled again. "I never forbid you to do that. As you say. Do what you want to do to both of us. Don't make yourself dizzy."

Finished saying that sentence, Kara left her husband. Elno rubbed her face rough. He understood the meaning of his wife. Kara has seen him making out with Sari.

Elno opened the refrigerator and then took out a bottle of water. He drank the drink half. Elno felt a tightness in her heart over Kara's words. What his wife said is true. But Elno felt it was a thorn that hit the heart.

"I have to what? All hail," he murmured.

At five o'clock in the morning when Elno woke up, she already did not see Kara beside her. Workwear is available complete with ties and shoes. Elno remembers that it was Kara's turn this morning to make breakfast. He immediately got out of bed to the bathroom.

When Elno finished cleaning up, she saw Kara coming in. His wife did not let him dress himself. Kara still helps him even though Elno is reluctant to touch his wife's slender waist.

Elno was very eager to touch Kara, but her actions last night made the reluctance happen. Elno thought their relationship had improved. It seems like this is happening again.

"I'm sorry, but Sari is my wife too" said Elno.

"Why apologize? I know your wife Sari."

"I also have to give him an inner living, right?"

Kara looked at her husband's face. "What are you talking about?"

"I know you're angry."

"You deserve to do anything. Don't worry about me" Kara said. He takes a black suit and helps Elno wear it. "Ready. You go downstairs. I've prepared breakfast for you."

"We're down together."

"I'm a little long because I want to go" Kara said.

"Let me drive you."

"no need. You go down first" said Kara.

Elno no longer argued. He walks out of the room and Kara gets ready to leave as well. He changes clothes by wearing a knee-length dress and Kara also puts on her face.
