The struggle of Elno

At six o'clock in the morning Elno just got home. It puts the rice and the ingredients of the side dishes that have been purchased. After returning home from the club, Elno found herself into a hip porters and shopping for kitchen needs.

"You're home late" Kara said.

From five in the morning, Kara waited for Elno's arrival. She was called and sent a message, but her husband did not answer. The job at the club made Kara worry.

"Yes. I'm looking for an extra job. I want to rest for a while. Two hours to go to college" said Elno.

Kara nodded. "You sleep inside."

"Here you go. I haven't had a shower. Poor it'll be Finola."

Elno grabbed a small pillow into a head brace and mat as the base. Fatigue affects the body. In an instant he fell asleep.

Kara copied the rice and vegetables brought by her husband. All orders have been bought by Elno, but Kara is surprised to see small green leaves.Including the stems.

She wanted to ask Elno, but her husband was sleeping. Kara put the leaves in a plastic bag. He started cooking rice and side dishes for breakfast.

"You are awake. What kind of leaves did you buy?" ask Kara.

Kara nodded. "We'll eat together first. After that you just took a shower."

While eating, Finola whined. Kara immediately washed her hands in the water that had been provided by Elno in the basin. So does Elno, she willingly stops eating to help Kara.

"He's thirsty" Kara said.

"From now on, did Finola sleep?" ask Elno.

"So he woke up. Then go to sleep again. Miss Warni said, do not let you sleep too long. He also gave me food. He said to snack," Kara said.

Elno exited the room, she continued eating. Finished filling the stomach, Elno immediately cleansed herself. He was busy going to college. Before leaving, Elno moved the small table in front of the room. He prepared drinking water, plastic dishes, and bread given by neighbors so that Kara did not walk far.

Elno stepped inside the house. Silent. Slowly he stepped into the room and saw his wife and son sleeping. Elno hung up the bag, and changed her clothes. When going to the bathroom, dirty clothes piled up including cloth diapers owned by Finola.

If it's daytime, Kara will put her daughter in cloth diapers. This is to save on disposable diapers. Elno let out a long breath. He grabbed a pile of clothes and washed them.

Hearing the sound of water and brush, Kara woke up. He tried to stand on the wall. Kara walks slowly to the bathroom and sees Elno washing up.

"Sorry, yes, El. You did the laundry, ", Kara said.

"Nothing. I can, really," said Elno. "You just rest."

"I helped rinse" said Kara.

"Don't. These few days let me do it. You just gave birth yesterday. I'm scared," said Elno. "Oh, has the medicine been taken by the doctor? You're not weak, are you?"

Kara shakes. "I'm fine."

"I should have given you nutritious food. Milk alone I can't afford it."

"Hey! You gave me enough food. I made you a side dish first" Kara said.

Kara shed tears. She was happy with Elno, but seeing her husband like that was painful. Kara should be grateful. There are more people who are harder than him. Having a place to live and being able to eat is more than enough. It's only temporary. Kara believes that one day she and Elno will be happy.

"It's just a matter of time. Soon Elno will get a decent job with a big salary. At that time our needs will be sufficient. I hope it happens soon" said Kara.
