Nina Assailed

Melani and Diah return to the office. They are busy with activities at their desk. While Melani is facing a computer screen checking her work, suddenly the phone on her desk rings. Melani hesitated to lift it. Fear the villain came back to terrorize him. For a while Melani waited until the channel was connected.

“Yes, Den. What's up?” reply Melani.

“You've talked to Diah?”

“Already.”

“Continue, how do you respond?”

For a moment Melani fell silent, as if heavily conveying. “Engh…. Sorry, Den. For the time being, he doesn't seem to be able to accept you. Diah still wants to be alone,” said Melani finally.

Miss Marni and Ipang immediately stood up to welcome Melani.

“What really happened, Mom?” ask Melani.

“So when she came home from school, Nina was suddenly attacked by an unknown person. He was taken to an empty building. Fortunately, Ipang caught him and prevented him before committing heinous acts on Nina,”, said Bu Marni.

She then ran away ...” Ipang narrates the chronology of the incident.

Melani takes a deep breath, a little relieved that Nina survived the act of rape. This incident made Melani even more horrified. Looks like the rapist really did carry out his threat. Melani is grieving. He could feel the fear Nina was experiencing.
