That morning Deni returned to pick up Melani at his house. But this time Melani refused to be escorted by Deni. He stepped hurriedly away from Deni. The man was trying to chase her. Deni manages to intercept Melani in the middle of the road.

“I'm sorry for my words yesterday, Mel. But really, I didn't mean to hurt your heart. I just want to be honest,” Deni said.

“You have abused the trust Diah has given you! I hate you, Den!” grunts Melani sharp.

“You can't dislike my honesty, Mel. But what else do I have to do? I can't keep hiding from this either. I can't keep playing in front of Diah. That's why I deliberately made a confession in front of you, because you are a close friend of Diah. Maybe you can give an understanding to Diah.”

“How can I give an understanding to Diah if it turns out that the cause of turning away your heart is me? No, Den. I don't want to create enmity with Diah. I never loved you anyway. You better get rid of those crazy thoughts. Go back to Diah before it's too late. I'll never forgive you if I ruin Diah's life!” firmly Melani.

Deni was silent. He breathed heavily. “Alright, Mel. I'm ready to go back to Diah. I'm not gonna betray him. But do not continue to hate me. I don't want you to run away from me. Come on, I'll take you to the office. If you go alone, Diah will even become suspicious and think non-no. Do you want me to tell Diah directly about my true feelings.?” said it.

Melani hung around for a moment. He was a little relieved to hear Deni's statement promising not to turn away from Diah. But with Deni's request that he not stay away from the man made Melani's heart heavy. He had already decided that he would no longer be in contact with Deni. But Melani promises in her heart that her willingness does not mean she gives Deni a chance. Let how Melani will never give space in her heart to Deni. He has decided he will not accept Deni. He hates Deni. And this can't be changed anymore!

Deni looked overjoyed as Melani nodded in agreement to be escorted to the office. He opens the car door for Melani. With a matted face and still covered with a taste of disgust, Melani climbed into Deni's car. He refused to sit in front. Deni can't force. During the trip Melani refused to talk. He was mute and squeaked his face if Deni turned his head towards him. Deni also realized that he was no longer cared for by Melani. He could only sigh heavily.

Arriving at the office Melani greeted Diah with a cheerful face. “How, Mel? Have you changed your new HP number?” ask Diah excitedly.

“Already, Di,” Melani replied short while showing her phone.

“You've not been bothered anymore with that terror guy, right?”

Melani. Diah scrunched his forehead. He looked at Melani closely.

“Why are you, Mel? How come your face is so tangled? Deni didn't drive you?” tanya Diah expressed her astonishment because since entering earlier Melani's face looks grim.

“It's okay, Di. Deni was the one who drove me,” replied Melani trying to brush off the suspicions of her friend.

“Swear, On. Nothing,” said Melani so bad.

Diah shrugged her shoulders. He then went back to his own seat. Although Melani says there is no problem, Diah knows there must be something the girl is hiding. Diah poultice with Melani nature. If Melani can't bear the burden of trouble, she will usually vent herself later. And Diah will wait for Melani to reveal the problem she harbored.

Meanwhile in his stool Melani was overcome with anxiety and unease. Ever since entering this room and seeing Diah, there was a feeling of a stinginess piercing Melani's mind. I don't think he can deal with Diah. His conversation with Deni yesterday caused a thousand turmoil and anxiety in his heart. Should I tell Diah the truth? Can Diah accept this harsh reality? When did Diah understand that I was not the cause of Deni's change of heart? Melani's heart was overwhelmed with grief. While on the other hand Melani can not break the heart of her best friend.

Deni's promise to return to Diah was not fully trusted by Melani. He wasn't sure Deni would really love Diah wholeheartedly. Deni's previous confession that said he did not love Diah enough as evidence of Deni's seriousness. The promise he said was just to calm Melani's heart. Melani is sorry for Diah if she lets him continue to be lied to and fooled. Diah will be made to suffer for loving a man who does not love her. Diah will not attain true happiness as he wishes!

Oh, Melani got dizzy herself thinking about this. He tried to dispel the chaos that filled his chest. He does not want his concentration at work to be disturbed because of this problem. For a while he would settle this matter first. Melani devotes her attention to tasks she has not yet completed. Melani smiled bitterly at it. He sighed long.

“Don't be grandiose, In. Later if not so you will be disappointed and frustrated,” Melani said spontaneously.

“Not so how do you mean? Not be his honeymoon or marry him?” diah senewen.

“Yes, both. Honeymoon to various tourist attractions is not a little cost, Di. Does Deni want to? After all, not married, you have fantasized about what is not.
