The Stunning My Life

The Stunning My Life
New Market Festival

The five of us were on our way to somewhere, which was out of nowhere, we didn't know where we were either. Me, Juna, Mini, and Haris were allowed to drive around town. I haven't seen the situation of my hometown in a long time.

And wait. Yeah, the five of us, 'cause Lusy's coming too. The biennial toddler whined to go with me. Karina initially forbade it, but me and the others wouldn't mind if Lusy came along. Not just grandma!

We chatted inside the white fortune toyota. Juna was driving. I sat in the front seat beside Juna while holding Lusy who did not want to sit alone. Then Mini and Haris, they're sitting in the middle seat.

"Liat deh Sophia, it's like a young mama has one child," said Mini made her boyfriend and Juna laugh.

Lusy did not respond to anything because he certainly did not understand such a joke. The cute boy was just busy playing the car dashboard while occasionally wondering at me about anything as brilliant as he saw from the glass.

"Belgium!" I'm calling Mini stupid.

"Guys, who will marry first? I'm the same Mini or.. you're the same Sophia, Bro?" Haris patted Juna's left shoulder from behind.

Juna smiled as he continued driving the car. "Gue is up to Sophia. As long as he's ready, I'll just come on." The answer.

"When you wait for Sophia to be ready, mah...." Mini. "Sophia age 30 will not be ready if you do not go ahead first."

Juna turned to me for a while after Mini's confession. I once told Mini about my wedding. But that was before I knew a man named Juna the King of the Universe. And after meeting Juna, it felt like part of the concept of my life had completely changed and went according to plan.

I didn't expect to be able to date when I was eighteen when I just graduated from school. And without feeling it, my relationship with Juna has been going on for almost a year. Just a few months left.

"Don't talk about marriage first why, anyway. Talk to others, dong.... Where are we really going? Just walking down the street with no purpose?" I'm trying to change the subject.

Suddenly silent atmosphere. We are all confused where to go. This is called living without direction.

"Tante, there are balloons" said Lusy pointing to a crowd.

"Oh, yes. What's in there, what's a great race?" I looked at the edge of the street entrance of the alley filled with street vendors. And there are also sellers of gas balloons with spongebob motifs, planes, and disney cartoons appointed by Lusy.

"What, tuh? How is it going?" sahut Mini gave me an idea.

A parking attendant said there was a new market festival. The event started from eight in the morning until the evening. The atmosphere is not much different like a night market, but this also takes place in broad daylight.

The five of us finally agreed to stop by the crowd. We walked down the alley with knick-knacks vendors on the outskirts. Sometimes they woo and offer us their merchandise.

"Lusy, you want to play something?" let me smile looking down at the cute boy who from earlier I took a strong look.

"I want to ride that pony." Lusy pointed to a swivel comedy ride.

Me and the others complied with Lusy's request. I bought a ticket, and directed Lusy to ride on a pink pony of her choice.

"Lusy's a fastened handle, yes," I told my niece to wiggle her hand up to the iron rod in front of her.

But the name of a child the age of Lusy is still a little stubborn. He even smiled happily stroking the head of the horse statue. I tried to persuade Lusy to hold on tight so he wouldn't fall when the comedy went, but Lusy ignored him.

"Rather than her son falling, mengingan mother just hold it here," suggested a mini ride attendant to me. He was waiting for me to persuade Lusy. The officer must have been caught off guard because the comedy-play could not be moved because I still persuaded Lusy to hold on.

I was a little stunned because I was called Mother over my niece named Lusy. Mini, Haris, also Juna who had been waiting and watching us not far on the edge there seemed to be laughing at me.

Looks like Mini's rant was right, if I'm like a one-child mama. Or do I look old?

And in the end, I sat down a little bit on the buttocks of the statue holding Lusy so he wouldn't fall. It should be a swivel comedy that provides seat belts for young children so that nothing bad happens to passengers. And also, at least his 'mother' did not have to bother getting the temptation from her boyfriend and friends.

"Mother Sophia, the spirit of her child!" mini exclaims to me. Juna and Haris laughed.

The comedy scene is finished. Lusy was still not satisfied. Now he's asking to ride the ring. And yes, I also have to accompany him. Juna had wanted to come, but in order to save money, I refused.

Juna, Mini, and Haris are seen buying a grilled pentol and enjoying it down there while waiting for me and Lusy spins up and down with the ring.

Finished riding the reanglala, Lusy asked to fish for toy fish. The kid must have been feeling really happy and wanted to try all the kids games.

"Lusy wants to fish..," Lusy whined to me.

"No, just fish!" lusy refused.

I'm sighing. The boy did not want to drink water or eat anything. He prefers to play and play. I'm afraid he's dehydrated or holding hunger in his stomach. We were almost thirty minutes in that place.

"Have it, let me persuade you. Lo mengingan streets with Juna to where. Let me equal Haris who's momong Lusy." Mini smiled at me, then turned to Haris. "Well, Beb?"

"Yes, let me have Mini with Momong Lusy. All of us practice being parents..," continued Haris smiling chimed.

Mini and Haris also take Lusy to fishing. I saw Mini start to persuade Lusy who was already holding the fishing line. The cute smiling Lusy seemed willing to drink and eat a snack now.

Juna suddenly grabbed my shoulder. I looked at that man too.

"You seem to need to practice taking care of children from Mini, deh," said Juna seemed to still notice Lusy who was busy playing there.

"You mean? Can't I take care of that kid?" I still look at Juna.

Juna looked at me now. She smiles. "It's not. Your attention to Lusy is very good. You're just not good at persuading him yet" Juna explained to me.

I removed Juna's embrace from my back. "Yes, later I will practice how to persuade the child properly and correctly." I smiled wryly to Juna, then again noticed Lusy who continued to be fed snacks by Mini and occasionally sucked water in a bottle.

"You mad?" ask Juna to me suddenly.

I looked at that man. "No. Who's angry?" I said deny. I wasn't angry, but just a little offended that Juna was commenting on the way I persuaded a boy like Lusy. Not married has been criticized, especially if you are married later?

Honestly, I don't really understand a bit about taking care of kids. Because my past was a little less than pleasant, I only remembered how my parents handled my whining. Maybe Juna was right, I should practice taking care of my children so that I can be a good mother to my children.

"I don't mean to appeal to you like Mini. Don't be that jutek, dong...." Juna seduced me into smiling.

I sighed, then looked at Juna. I gave my best smile to that man. Juna threw a small laugh back and a warm look at me.

Me and Juna sat together slightly pulled over from the crowd. We had a party with Mini and Haris to go together just a light walk around the crowd. Lusy, he's certainly still with Mini and Haris.

I enjoyed the pink cotton candy Juna bought for me. The bulging plastic wrap snack is a legendary snack that I always buy when visiting the night market. Coincidentally, there are also some who sell it.

"You're like a kid, huh. It's cotton candy, anyway?" Juna sneered.

I just glanced at it for a while while continuing to devour the confectionery. Juna was just teasing me. Why would he comment that he actually bought me three packs of cotton candy in a different color?

When I said I liked the sweet, Juna kept buying me one pink, one purple, and another blue. I only asked for one.

"Juna," call me.

Juna who was still looking at me suddenly widened her eyes waiting for me to talk.

"Why did you pay my father's hospital money? I'm not good with you. Let me change, yeah."

Juna pulled out a pinch of cotton candy I was holding, then ate it. "I'm willing to pay for your father's hospital money. You don't have to change, Sophia...."

"But it's not a little, Juna.... You haven't worked yet. Don't you use your mom's money or your dad's, okay?"

Juna gave a small laugh looking at my expression which was probably funny when guessing it. "Not.... Who said I haven't worked? I'm not an unemployed student who's just busy with the thesis."

I kept listening to Juna.

"You know if Mommy made me her dress model? Mother not only asked her son to help her work, but also gave her salary. And when I'm home, I also help Dad with the office. At least check the report or what it is. I also got a percentage from Dad, all studying to be the CEO of the Universe Corp.... Your father did it to me too, right?"

I chuckled as I remembered Juna's flirting with my father at the hospital.

"Sophia, never feel bad or have debt to your girlfriend. You just say thank you and always smile, it's more than enough for me," said Juna sounding sincere.

I smiled too. "Thank you, Juna." [ ]
