Ivan's Feelings

Tonight the mansion belonging to the Alexander family seemed so busy. The servants were again made back and forth to prepare all the preparations that would be brought to the family home of Amelia.

Yes, tonight is the night that Ivan and Amelia will be engaged to.

Ivan was so neat with a suit that attached perfectly to his burly body.

He went down the stairs while putting a fancy watch in his hand.

Her smile was perfect and so beautiful on her handsome face.

He looked at everyone who had gathered in their family's guest room.

There were his parents, Dirga and his parents, and also his Faiz of course.

But Ivan's smile immediately dimmed when he saw the flat-faced Maxwel was just silent while playing his cellphone.

These few days her papa was more silent when Delisha looked busy preparing her engagement event.

Actually Ivan knows what makes his papa so. Maxwel feels hard going to the Darwin family home, people who once made their families fall apart.

But for everything, Ivan couldn't do much. Amelia's house was there, and they wanted to have an engagement at the house. Although Amelia was not their sibling, Andrean requested for an engagement to be held at the house.

"Have you finished, son?" Delisha asked with her smile.

Ivan immediately nodded and returned Delisha's smile and glanced at Maxwel who was still busy with his cellphone

"Young master looks very handsome tonight" Dirga's tease made Ivan instantly chuckle at his hearing

"I'm always good-looking" Ivan replied, making everyone laugh right there, except Maxwel

"We're leaving?" Delisha asked them one by one

"Yes, come on" said Rico and his wife who nodded

They began to move towards the exit, but Ivan preferred later to match his steps with Maxwel's.

Delisha knew what made the atmosphere supposed to be happy but dimmed it a little because of her husband's feelings. He smiled and nodded looking at Ivan who glanced at him.

Delisha walks first following Nina's wife Rico who is waiting for her.

"Pa" call Ivan to stop Maxwel's steps.

Maxwel immediately turned his head and smiled at Ivan who was staring at him meaningfully

"What's up, son?" Ask Maxwel

"I'm sorry Ivan, because Ivan's choice made papa feel troubled again" said Ivan made Maxwel immediately stunned and sighed slowly.

He patted Ivan's shoulder at a glance and returned a smile. He knows, Ivan must be sad to see his not as enthusiastic as on Jonathan's show yesterday. And he really felt guilty about it.

"You're not wrong, your choice is the best. Don't think like okay. Papa is okay" Maxwel said.

"But Ivan felt papa was hard to go" said Ivan, and of course it made Maxwel feel more guilty

"No son. Please don't think like that. Papa was just preparing his heart to set foot in the house. Papa is really very happy you have found a companion who can accompany you later" said Maxwel staring at Ivan fixedly

"Right" asked Ivan and Maxwel immediately nodded

"Of course, your happiness is papa's happiness." Maxwel's voice made Ivan immediately smile at his hearing

"I'm sorry papa, if your attitude makes you feel unappreciated" Maxwel said but Ivan immediately shook his head

"No pa, not at all. Ivan was just afraid of papa being disappointed" Ivan said

"You never let papa down, son. You are proud papa" said Maxwel who immediately embraced Ivan's shoulder

"Thank you, thank you" said Ivan so happy

"Yes, Ivan has been waiting for this day from a few years ago" said Ivan made Maxwel immediately laugh at his hearing.

Delisha who saw her husband and son from a distance just smiled happily. He knew everything would be fine.

Faiz was waiting next to Ivan's car. Assistant and best friend Ivan was also very neat with his suit.

Yes, Ivan's engagement event was held formally and attended by several guests from Ivan and Amelia. They made a pretty fancy event because Amelia wanted everyone to feel their happiness.

"Where is young master Jonathan?" Dirga asked Ivan who immediately turned his head towards him after before he was almost near his car

"Where's Jonathan Van?" Ask Maxwel anyway

"Kebelet ma" replied Jonathan briefly making Ivan immediately cluck in annoyance

"The event will not be closed Van, calm down a little" said Jonathan made Dirga and Faiz immediately mengolum their smiles while the parents just shook their head slowly

Ivan sat unsettled in his seat making Jonathan look at him in confusion

"Bugup bang" answered Ivan chuckling slightly making Jonathan snort, while Faiz and Dirga only chuckle at his hearing

"Not yet ijab kabul" said Jonathan

"His brother was not so yesterday" asked Ivan anyway

"No" Jonathan answered briefly

"Hmh, I'm too much huh" muttered Ivan back staring at the car window, enjoying the night view that felt so cold, as cold as his heart pounding .

Still fiancee, yet she was already nervous like this. A feeling that cannot be described by him. The happiness that has always been awaited for its end will soon be carried out.

"calm down young master. Nothing will match your good looks there later, so don't be so nervous" Dirga's tease makes Ivan annoyed
