How to Handle

Without feeling it, a week just passed.

In a city, Arthur appears to be walking in the market while holding Lily. Both seem pretty flashy. Not only because of their clean and expensive looking clothes, but also their charming looks.

At that moment, Lily suddenly stopped. The girl sniffed with her small nose then turned to the source of the scent.

“Arthur, what is it?” ask Lily in a plain tone.

“En?” Arthur turned his head towards the person selling the pumpkin pie. “That's pumpkin cake, one of the autumn specialties of this place. Have you never eaten it?”

“...” Lily shook her head.

“Do you want to try it?” ask Arthur.

“En.” The little girl nodded.

Arthur walked straight to the pumpkin cake stand with Lily. Looking at the middle-aged man who was busy packing the still hot cake, he said.

“Compose me 10 of your best pumpkin cakes, Sir.”

“Please wait a minute!” said the middle-aged man with a smile on his face.

Wait awhile. Ten small pumpkin cakes were put into a container and given to Arthur. The young man paid for it and gave the cake to Lily.

“Don't forget to leave yourself to Joe.”

“Um.”

Lily nodded lightly, looking pleased as she carried the package containing the pumpkin cake. Seeing the girl's cute face, Arthur smiled.

“You have a sweet sister, Mr.”

The shopkeeper smiled at Arthur while giving a thumbs up. The young man smiled as he shook his head lightly. He greeted her and left with Lily.

The two of them shopped together. Arthur gave the newly harvested rice, a special type of fish that only appeared in the fall, and also various materials for making nabe. He intended to cook a typical autumn dish during his stay in the city.

It's been three days that Arthur, Jotaro, and Lily have been living in this town. Arthur rents a small house on the edge of town with a large courtyard. The reason the young man stayed in this place was Lily. He wanted to teach the girl a normal way of life before continuing the journey.

The plan is, they'll stay here for a month.

While Arthur spends time teaching Lily and relaxing, Jotaro trains harder than ever before. The man seemed to feel devastated by the incident a few days ago.

Arriving where they live, Arthur and Lily are immediately greeted by the sight of Jotaro beating a thick iron pole with his bare hands.

Lily pulled Arthur's clothes.

“Why does Joi beat up that iron every day?” The girl tilted her head, looking somewhat confused.

“Is Joi not tired?” ask Lily.

They also entered the house. Arthur immediately cooks and Lily watches Jotaro rehearsal while eating a pumpkin pie.

After dinner, three people sat on the back porch of the house drinking tea. Just then, Jotaro's voice sounded.

“Didn't you overindulge Lily, Boss?”

“You mean?”

“Foaming, bathing, changing clothes, combing hair .. you almost do everything.”

“That's because Lily couldn't do it.” Arthur shrugged his shoulders.

“But he ..”

Jotaro took a long breath. At first, she thought of Lily as an ordinary little girl. But his mind changed after seeing his strength. After all, Lily possessed a power that an ordinary little girl should not have.

Jotaro looked at Arthur. Seeing how the young man treated Lily. Sometimes he thinks that Arthur treats the girl like a pet.

Arthur carried Lily on his back and entered the house. About an hour later, he came back out of the house and sat down next to Jotaro. Just then, the relaxed and lazy expression on the young man's face disappeared.
