The Story of Demon Hunter

The Story of Demon Hunter
195

The afternoon after the lesson is over.

Four students were seen in the school toilet with cleaning supplies in their hands.

“This school is really outrageous.”

Having an empty expression on his face, Satoru actually felt somewhat depressed. Just then, a friendly voice sounded in his ears.

“Don't think too much, buddy! Don’t mind! Just do it casually!”

Hearing that, Satoru looked towards Takeo with a gloomy face. Meanwhile, Manabu was busy cleaning and Ono also cleaned the toilet with a shy expression.

“You spread the news! Why am I being punished?” satoru asked with a helpless expression.

Following the principal's orders, Satoru and his three housemates are sentenced to clean the school toilet for an entire week. It is done after the usual lesson hours are completed, and the hours for exculpation will be cut off.

They must clean the toilet first before following the exculpation. After they were tired of cleaning, they still had to follow the grueling activities!

“Don't the principal say it, buddy. That's called unity, all for one and one for all.”

Takeo said with a serious expression despite not really understanding the principal's intentions. It made Manabu and Ono could only shake their heads. I feel so ashamed that it all became like this.

‘That doesn't mean if I fly, you can fly. If you get dragged down by water, will I drown? Is that what we call justice? Who wants to believe that shit!’

Satoru let out a long breath. She also felt somewhat annoyed that Natsumi was not punished for her status as a victim.

‘You almost ruined the future of an innocent girl, you wouldn't have the heart to see her punished because of you, would you?’

The statement from Bu Tashigi who was as sharp as a sword made Satoru feel helpless. He really felt targeted. Makes him feel depressed half to death!

Finished cleaning the toilet, Satoru went to the stables with Ono.

On the way, Satoru stared at the dormitory one-man with a serious expression. At that moment, he spoke in a stern tone.

“You didn't try to frame me because my relationship with Natsumi-senpai is kind of good right?”

Hearing the question, Ono was stunned. He had absolutely no idea that Satoru would think that way. But the young man understood why his housemates thought of that.

“I'm sorry Satoru-san. You may not believe my words, but I did not spread the news at all. Manabu and Takeo asked, I just thought you were going for a walk with Natsumi-senpai.

When asked, they both said that you are an exemplary young man because you can approach one of the most beautiful girls in school, and that's it. So ... we really don't know if everything leads to that kind of thing.

Thought that you committed adultery and were almost expelled because of us. Yes, we know that you must be upset and hate us for it.”

“See me, Ono.”

Hearing that, Ono turned his head. Satoru looked at him with a serious expression. A moment later, the young man shook his head while sighing deeply.

BRUISES!

Satoru directly hit Ono's stomach until the young man fell to the ground. Afterwards, the young man said, “Now break even. You no longer need to feel bad for me.”

Satoru looked at Ono's guilty expression. Perhaps expressions could be changed, but the eyes that showed regret were not easily changed. Precisely knowing Ono didn't do it on purpose, he hit him to break even.

Not intending to do so does not mean Ono is innocent.

Moreover, if the young man had indeed intentionally done such a heinous thing, Satoru would not only hit his stomach. It could be, he calculated something and retaliated in a more heinous way.

Just then, Satoru stretched out his hand while saying, “Can't you stop overdoing it? It was just a light blow.”

Ono was confused whether to cry or laugh. Looking towards Satoru who extended his hand, he grabbed it while putting on a wry smile. Feeling somewhat helpless and at once happy because it seemed that the young man did not hold a grudge against them.

When he got up, Ono heard Satoru's words.

“Let's rest, those two people will also get rations. Manabu, the fat is thicker so it will hit him a little harder. While Takeo ... the mouth of the bucket needs to be hit twice!”

Hearing that, Ono was immediately confused to have to cry or laugh. He was clearly considered the weakest among the fellow dormitories, but it could also be considered an advantage. Thinking of his two friends who would be given a harder reply, especially Takeo who would be beaten twice, Ono could only pray in his heart.

‘Hold it and it'll all be over soon, Manabu! Takeo!’

Back walking towards the stables, Satoru's voice again sounded in Ono's ears.

“Other times you should be careful. Sometimes speech is more dangerous than a sharp sword. Maybe you are just spreading the facts or you think the news is happy, but of course there are people who cannot accept it.

Whether in the city, in the village, or even in the smallest place, as long as it is human, we cannot make them all like us. As long as someone likes it, someone will hate it too. We can't change this.

That's why we have to be on our guard to protect ourselves. After all, something that such people do sometimes only spread hatred, but it can also be fatal.

They might think that the news just made my name dirty and hated by girls. However, the result can be worse than that.

Me and Natsumi can be expelled. Other schools may not accept us. We will be hated by the people around us because of the rumors. Even hard to find a job and ended tragically, lost the future.”

Satoru looked at the sky late in the afternoon then let out a long sigh.

“Now you understand why slander is more cruel than murder, right?”

Hearing that, Ono nodded heavily. The young man then said in a sincere tone, full of gratitude and apology.

“Thank you for not hating us because of this, Satoru-san.”

“That's because you guys didn't do it on purpose. If not ..”

Satoru turned his head with a ‘friendly’ smile on his face.

“Of course you should get ‘payment’ accordingly!’

After arriving at the stables, Satoru and Ono helped the other first-class disciples.

After their work was done, they all rested for a moment. Just then, the other five people asked Satoru with curious expressions on their faces. To these gossipy teenagers, the young man actually felt somewhat helpless.

“Actually this is what happened ..” Satoru said as he explained.

Listening to his explanation, they all finally understood what had happened. Those 1st grade disciples seemed to support Satoru with words and secretly complained to Mr. Sengoku for not coming immediately to defend.

Of course, Satoru knew that such people were more akin to water on taro leaves. When they hear this, they'll be here. When they hear that, they will go there. So it's better not to think about it.

“All first-class students, immediately gathered in the field.” Mr. Sengoku said with a stern expression.

After the break, Mr. Sengoku allowed them to ride horses. If yesterday was just riding, now they can try a walk for a while. This made the 1st grade disciples happy while the 2nd grade and 3rd grade were confused.

After all, it's not usually that Mr. Sengoku can be that good!

They were simply unconscious, it seemed that the middle-aged man was in a good mood this afternoon. Not only was he not punished, he received praise from the principal. The most important ...

His salary was not cut! Of course it makes him happy!
