Chapter 06 - Friends Play

Neron closed his book and left the room. Now it was almost dinner and the girl in front of him was still asleep.

Neron wants to help Hazel make dinner but it turns out she's not home like she went hunting because her rifle isn't there.

"Maybe they both went hunting"

looking at Hazel's weapon, there was only her Dastanis sword as if she was just carrying her rifle.

"So Hazel didn't bring her Vrodast today"

Neron tried to use the sword but when he pulled Vrodast, it stuck to his sheath.

"It's weird"

as Neron was thinking suddenly a loud door slam sounded to make him shocked.

"TWOAKH!!!"

"I'm home"

Hazel was carrying Veronian a bird monster that could not fly but had legs that could run fast, Veronian was dead for sure it was dinner today.

"What are you doing?"

"Nobody just checked your sword"

"are you wondering why it can't be opened?"

"Yes"

Hazel scratched her head

"Have I not told you yet?, the sword Dastanis only has 1 master, the way that others can use it there are 2 ways, so that others can use it, that is the first owner must die and the second way is the owner gives it to others"

"so so it is"

Neron understood when Hazel told him.

"Neron help me prepare dinner"

Neron follows Hazel into the kitchen and helps her cook.

"by the way where's Uncle Gerald?"

Hazel's excited face was now lethargic.

"I'll tell you first, there might be a problem at dinner"

Hazel paused for a moment before sighing.

"Gerald went to do a mission, and wanted me to keep Ceithrine."

"Oh" Neron retorted briefly as if unconcerned.

"If he is indeed the leader of the Gold Imperial Knight he must be busy"

"Yes that's right. If there's a problem I want you to take me in"

"Good"

Neron cuts some vegetables to make soup while Hazel roasts the Veronian.

After he finished making the soup, Neron prepared a place for the meal.

"If you're done can you wake Ceithrine? dinner's almost ready"

Neron went to wake Ceithrine but now Ceithrine was awake and in a sitting position. Even though he woke up, his hair remained straight.

"it looks like you slept well, it's dinner time. Let's eat"

"Good"

They went to the kitchen. The food was available and Hazel was waiting for them.

The three of them sat down with Neron and Hazel sitting next to each other and Ceithrine sitting in front of Neron.

"Let's eat"

"Where's Dad?"

Ceithrine who was still half-consciously asked. And it made Hazel and Neron surprised that they did not expect those words to come out for the first time.

"Ceithrine listen, your father now has a mission and maybe it will go on long enough and the mission is also dangerous so your father asked me to take care of you, Now you will stay here''

Hearing that Ceithrine instantly came to a realization and seemed to be in disbelief.

Ceithrine frantically rushed out of the house to catch up with her father. Hazel and Neron go after him.

It was dark and only a torch lit up the entire way. Ceithrine was confused as to where she should go and so was worried whether she should return.

Hazel who is after Ceithrine can finally catch up

"Ceithrine let's go back"

Hazel tries to calm Ceithrine down

"why? why did you leave me?

is it because I'm weak?"

"Yes you are weak"

Neron who appeared from behind instantly said that. Ceithrine grew sadder and began to cry. Hazel turned to Neron as if to say 'Don't make him sadder'.

"There's a lot of new things you've never met in the Capital and also if it's about practice I can help you and Neron will help you too"

because Neron did not quickly answer Hazel turned to him.

"Yes that's right, I'll teach you how to use the aura"

"Ceithrine, I know you're sad that your father left you but he'll definitely come back to pick you up"

"Really?"

Ceithrine tried to believe Hazel's words

"Of course, because he promised me. Be stronger for your father to be surprised because of your development, he will definitely be happy"

Ceithrine stopped crying and now her grief turned to vigor.

"So let's go home"

After Ceithrine calmed down again, the three of them returned to Hazel's house.

They have dinner together, Ceithrine praises Hazel about her cooking.

"Ceithrine you slept in Neron's room"

"where am I sleeping?"

"Do you mind sharing your bed?"

"So you mean I slept with him"

"Yes, there's no other room anyway and Ceithrine do you mind?"

"no"

Ceithrine ate her dinner without thinking about anything else.

Neron could not argue so he agreed to it despite being reluctant, eventually the two of them would sleep together.

After dinner, the two of them went to their room. Neron wanted to try to read the book again but the bedside Ceithrine could not make him read casually. Ceithrine kept asking how to control Aura and currently Neron was wanting to focus on reading.

"Hey how do you control it?"

"Now is not the time I want to learn something else now"

"when can you teach me?"

"tomorrow morning I'll train you, now sleep fast"

"good"

hearing Neron's words, Ceithrine was now trying to sleep.

'really troublesome' Neron complained in his heart.

seeing Ceithrine sleeping Neron continued reading his book.

The next day Neron taught Ceithrine how to feel the Aura because before learning how to control Ceithrine it must be able to feel it first.

"Hows it? can you feel it?"

"no"

"Maybe you're not ready yet"

"But you can do it so I can do it too"

Ceithrine then tried again, but the number of times she tried it the girl could not feel it.

"huh..hah..hah why still can not?"

He was frustrated because he could not do it.

Hazel is out today. And they had finished eating so there was nothing else but training Ceithrine today but Neron now felt deadlocked because he was not good at teaching others, as he thought of a way that Ceithrine could feel Aura, a brunette boy came and sat outside the fence.

"Hey Neron, is there something you're doing today?"

Gobu wants to take Neron somewhere so he asks if he has a job.

Neron thought for a moment he wanted to say there but it was just training Ceithrine and now the girl seemed like she was exhausted.

"No, what's up?"

"want to come with me?"

"where?"

"go meet my friends"

it seemed like it was a good idea Neron also wanted to be more familiar with these villagers so maybe now he would make friends.

"Wait a minute"

Neron locks the house and then takes Ceithrine away together, although he refuses at first but after Neron tells him that he will go to play Ceithrine, who refused, is now immediately excited.

The place is not too far east on a hill that grows 1 tree that becomes the headquarters for children in this village to play, Gobu eagerly said the place. After a few minutes of walking the three of them finally arrived. There were 4 children playing with two boys and two girls.

A black-haired boy with dark red irises made a ball from which it amazed Neron and the other boy with dark red hair saw a black-haired boy playing with the black ball he made. The two girls were playing chases, with the short-haired boy chasing and the other child running as hard as he could.

"Hey I brought it"

hearing Gobu's scream the other boy stopped playing and came to Gobu.

"So this is the boy who saved you, he looks strong. I'm Hiro "

The black-haired boy introduced himself.

"My name is Neron, hello"

"Halo Neron my name is Lyra and this is my sister" the girl with long hair pointed at her sister.

"I'm Shla salam know".

'They were both really excited' when they saw them that was what happened to Neron.

"Ha.hello My name is Rian glad to meet you Neron" the red-haired boy also introduced himself

"and you?"

Lyra asked Ceithrine because she was the only one who had yet to introduce herself.

"My name is Ceithrine Zayxavier I am from the Capital of Agrezia"

"wow that's great "

they were all amazed because Ceithrine came from outside the Village.

"From now on we are friends"

Hiro said that with passion

"because it's time to play"

"Yeah"

the other children answered Gobu's cry with vigor.
