Chapter 17 - New Place

Elvinia sat on a long tree trunk and in front of him was a pile of wood eaten by the fire, her hands busy piercing the meat of the quarry she got. The fire that burned the wood was warm and began to heat up little by little, Elvinia who had prepared the meat and then put her breakfast or lunch around the fire.

"skimming..... With this already done, it remains to wait until the meat is ripe". Elvinia said with vigor, as if she was proud of herself.

The Elf girl then wet her hands with the water she was carrying, then washed her hands clean, not forgetting that she also dried her hands with the wind magic she mastered.

After everything was done Elvinia sat down to relax while waiting for the food she burned to be ready to eat, but a white-haired Wolf ran over to the Elf girl.

"Woof woof" the wolf's voice seemed to want to show something.

Elvinia, who did not understand the words of the wolf, only gently stroked the head of the white wolf, and when she heard a small voice coming from the door of her hiding place, the Elf girl was surprised because the human child she had saved turned out to be human.

The scene in front of Neron was something he had seen for the first time, a girl with long silver hair and emerald green eyes was burning meat and stroking the white wolf that was in the room, Neron realized that there was something different about the girl: her long, pointed ears, the human child knew that the girl in front of him was not a human like her 'She Elf' Neron thought when he saw her.

Neron who was sitting limp replied "it looks like my body has improved, albeit a little weak"

"Ah yes, introduce my name Elvinia Greenwood, I live in this forest, but now I live in a village not far from this place and the resting place you used was my hiding place" since Neron was looking at Elvinia curiously, the girl immediately introduced herself in full.

"My name is Neron, I come from outside this forest" said Neron who looked into the fire in front of him or rather the flesh that burned before him.

"you must be hungry, wait a minute, this meat is almost cooked" said Elvinia who saw Neron staring at the meat he was burning, yes it's natural that Neron had five days unconscious, so now surely his body is in desperate need of food.

Neron who heard the words of the Elf girl felt a little embarrassed, but there was no expression on his face, and Neron simply answered the words of Elvinia with a nod.

Usually Elvinia only eats out on her own, but since there is now Neron, so she is happy to be able to eat with others, moreover, Neron was still a child so Elvinia could consider Neron as her sister even though they were both different races.

Neron who saw Elvinia smiling himself felt a strange feeling, because Neron was looking at her like that as if his face was saying that Neron was wondering what the Elf girl had in mind, Elvinia said "How about you call me brother?"

"sister?" Neron repeated the word

"You want?" Elvinia said that with sparkling eyes. In the old village, Neron never called a woman an older sister, because most of the teenagers who were a little older than him were a boy, so this was the first time a woman wanted to be called a sister by him, but since this was a request from someone who had saved him so Neron just agreed.

"Are you from the ice continent?" elvinia asked, she had long been curious about where Neron lived first, finally now she asked him.

"Cruk, crutch" Neron's stomach voice answered first compared to his mouth.

Elvinia who heard that laughed a little.

"The meat is ripe, this is eating" said the Elf girl then gave the skewer meat she had burned to Neron.

"Thank you...em" said Neron, adding the word sis back, because Elvinia was waiting for the word to come out of Neron's mouth.

"it's delicious" said Neron then he ate his meat greedily

"really right? eat a lot so that you recover quickly" said Elvinia

Neron just nodded then answered the question from Elvinia.

"I'm not from the ice continent...I'm from the Zairl continent, why do you think I'm from the ice continent?" Neron told Elvinia and then asked the Elf's mind.

"White hair and blue eyes are the hallmark of the ice continent" Elvinia continued, so that the answer she had given became clearer.

The questions and answers given by the Elf girl made Neron curious as to where he really came from, Because his memory was lost Neron did not know exactly where he came from, but from what Elvinia said, now Neron can determine where his destination is, even though there are some things he needs such as strength to stay alive and about the dream he had just had, Neron didn't tell Elvinia because he thought it wasn't something she had to tell him, so for now Neron keeps the dream in the back of his brain and focuses on his development.

Staring ahead Neron saw a blazing fire with some skewered meat around him and it made him think of something.

"Sir Elvinia" said Neron

"Yes?" Elvinia who was feeding the white wolf turned towards Neron.

"Is it not dangerous to start a fire in the middle of the forest?" asked Neron with a flat face.

"Hmmm......" Elvinia bit the meat she picked up and chewed it slowly while thinking "no, because I'm going to water it" the girl continued

"Are you sure the fire is going to die?" ask Neron again.

"Of course, because if I don't I'll water it again" said Elvinia, eating the latter's meat.

"Oh well"

"Neron, whether it's good or evil, weak or strong a power, it all depends on how you use it, remember it!!"

All the meat was gone, the Elf girl was the one who ate the most, even Neron did not expect that there was a girl who had such an appetite. Using a meat skewer, Elvinia pointed to one of the tree branches.

"For what?" Neron thought and asked himself "For myself" Neron then firmly said that.

"Why not for someone else?" ask Elvinia again.

Elvinia then hugged Neron firmly as if she did not want to let him go, the Elf girl did not ask what happened to Neron because the time she found Neron, she said, the child was in a very gravely injured state there might be bandits attacking his village and causing the wound, but for both Neron's parents, were they still safe? it was a question that Elvinia wanted to ask as well, but Elvinia put down her intentions in fear of the worst possible outcome, reminding Neron of the bad thing he had experienced was not the right thing so now Elvinia hugged Neron warmly.

Neron who was in Elvinia's arms just kept quiet did not move, before he did not feel anything but now Neron remembered about this feeling, as if he was recalling the person who gave him this hug again, although with different people but the feeling shown is the same is affection.

"Wool.grggrggr...Woof" The white wolf snarled to tell Elvinia that someone was coming.

Elvinia released Neron and put out the fire in front of him with the water she was carrying.

"Neron Hides Behind me!!!" elvinia's Order

Neron realized it as well, although not as great as sense techniques but his senses were sharper than other humans.

After a while two Elves appeared from the forest and they both pointed their weapons at Elvinia.
