Chapter 04 - Hazel's Strength

"you're just getting better at Neron. Your sword technique is improving"

Hazel sat down to relieve her fatigue and wiped the sweat off her forehead using her hands, Neron who had finished doing the exercises sitting next to Hazel.

Goblins are small green monsters that like to steal so they sometimes come to the nearest village to steal something and also Goblins are quite smart monsters.

"There are so many and also they have leaders"

The young man told Hazel in a panic

"Alright, Neron you stay here come on Jun"

The name of the young man is Junhe was a child who grew up in this village but both his parents died 1 year ago and also he was the first student of Hazel in this village. He can also use sword techniques so he can help Hazel in case of an attack.

they all followed Hazel's orders and performed the tasks she had been given.

Neron immediately retreated away from the place of the fight but he could still see them.

The other villagers attacked the Goblins and Jun using his Aura-coated sword skillfully one by one the Goblins split apart. Hazel runs towards Hobgoblin with her Vrodast Sword.

Neron saw their fight from a distance and he realized something was strange, even though the house had been slightly destroyed but the hobgoblins had not destroyed everything and the little goblins had not attacked him either. Then after a while Neron realized it and then immediately shot towards the house.

Hazel and the hobgoblins exchanged attacks they both drew. Hazel uses her Vrodast and the hobgoblin uses the mace she carries, but Hazel is not serious yet because she only does ordinary sword techniques not special techniques from her Vrodast Sword. As they face each other Neron darted into the house making the hobgoblin want to stop him but Hazel did not let him do what he wanted, the Hobgoblin roared loudly ordering the little goblin to stop him.

Some goblins who heard it also entered the house but others could not because they were busy fighting with the villagers.

The sound of crying came from the closet there was a child who was crying inside. A boy who was the same age as Neron, he was the son of Gorgus his name was Gobu. The boy wanted to get out but he didn't have time and now he's too scared to do that.

Neron who had entered immediately looked for him with his sense ability he immediately found him.

"Now you can get out"

Neron opens the closet and helps the boy out.

"Si... Who are you?"

the boy asked with sobbing sobs.

"I'm Neron. There's no time come on"

Neron then pulled the boy's hand down the stairs but then there were 3 goblins already waiting for them.

Looking around he looked for weapons he could use even though Neron could defeat them he wanted to try the results of his training. Neron looked at the sword that was leaning against the wall he then jumped up to pick it up. Seeing that the two goblins jumped together to attack Neron. Neron who was already holding a sword started to drain the aura from his body and in one slash the bodies of the two goblins were cut in half.

The last goblin panicked and also searched for weapons, he then found several spears next to the door, the goblin took them and pointed them at Neron, who was at his side, to his surprise, Neron disappeared and appeared behind the goblin, but the goblin had already lost its head, with blood covering the sword, and Neron cleaned it with 1 swing.

"It's done. You can get out"

With that Neron's fight is over.

While outside Hazel wants to quickly finish her fight in order to protect Neron .

Hazel began to think that 'I used Neron's quick slash technique might be hit by the attack, as well as it seemed like I should use that technique'

Hazel walked slowly and when she got to the back of the hobgoblin

Neron holds the sword and takes Gobu out of the house.

Neron answered briefly. Hazel was happy but at the same time she was scared, Neron was like a different person.

Neron comes out of the house followed by Gobu and Hazel. The fight is over the villagers no one dies only injuries and their Goblins are all slaughtered.

Gobu hugged his father. The residents sat down and laughed together because they had defeated the Goblins.

"Where is Hobgoblin ? did you manage to beat him Hazel?"

Hazel who was a little dumbfounded from her daydream.

he smiled bitterly

"It turns out you're really great"

Hearing the compliment made Hazel slightly return her spirits

"No, a lot of people are better than me"

"Who?"

"That person will probably come in 3 days"
