Chapter 10 - The Fight With Unknown Monsters

Everything happened so quickly, Hazel who saved Neron from the monster attack that was about to attack the boy now ended up with herself being stabbed using a sharp long tongue. The hole may not be as big as 5 cm but the tongue penetrated Hazel's body and kept her stomach bleeding.

A monster with dark blue scales and a display head with its tongue piercing through Hazel's body, stands on two legs that look strong with a short but large tail the creature observes the man she has already caught.

Pulling his tongue out through the man's body, the monster strangled his neck and lifted him up and felt the blood on his tongue, the monster tasted delicious blood and wanted to eat Hazel straight away but he did not do it instead The dark blue scaly monster threw Hazel down strongly and made the man crash into the tree that was there. The creature was greedy he would not be full if it only ate a human so he decided to eat Neron as well, he turned towards the child and drooled preparing to stomp on him.

"La-run" Hazel turned to look at Neron and told him to leave.

"No, I won't run" Neron said firmly, the boy had made up his mind he wouldn't leave Hazel here, now that he was going to test it according to Neron it was a challenge to see the result of his training, if he was going to die then he would accept it but Neron was sure he would not die now.

"I'm going to fight"

Taking out the daggers he had stored and putting up horses to fight, Neron and the monster faced each other they waited for who would attack first.

Neron was a little surprised because suddenly the earth spear magic from the monster stopped attacking, he said, the two of them looked at each other again and after a while the dark blue scales monster charged towards Neron and Neron prepared to welcome his attack using a dagger, when the attack from the two almost met something from the ground appeared in front of Neron making the boy forced to retreat because of the spear of the ground towering in front of him and quickly surrounded Neron and made him cooped up inside while the the magic-owning monster used its magic as a foothold and quickly slid towards the helpless Hazel.

Neron immediately realized the intent of the monster magic and immediately drained his demonic aura and slashed a stone slash in front of him and immediately caught up with the monster. Hazel helplessly just looking at the monster in front of her she also felt somewhat annoyed, if she was going to die today it was fine as long as Neron stayed alive, as long as Neron stayed alive, when Hazel had given up and tried to kill Neron quickly ran towards the monster and stuck his dagger that had been coated with Aura and dagger managed to stick himself in the monster's body but now Neron did not it could pull him in and a glimpse of Hazel could see the monster smiling. 'Blood, that monster is so strong' Neron now admitted that the monster is strong and he cannot win just using Aura. 'Magic' was the only way to defeat him if Neron could use it he would have managed to defeat the creature. The scaly monster approached him and Neron almost gave up on his life, but when Neron looked back at the monster he saw Hazel, it was enough of an excuse to stay alive, pointing his hand forward he hoped his magic would appear but not that, in a short time Neron heard a voice inside his head

"Shadow Burst" along with it a black explosion occurred and made the monster disintegrate in a short period of time, Neron was shocked and could hardly believe what had happened but now there was something important he had to do.

Neron was happy that he could use magic but he wondered why his hand had turned into a monster hand but now he had to help Hazel first.

"Are you still alive?" Neron asked like that in a joking tone because he knew Hazel wasn't dead.

"You think I'm gonna die that easy, I still have a lot of work to do" Hazel smiled as she looked at Neron she held onto his stomach to keep his blood from coming out. Neron crouched down in front of Hazel.

"Now what about this wound?"

"Grabbing that magic paper on my shoulder can heal this wound"

Neron did what Hazel told him to do and observed the paper he was holding there were some circles and writings that he did not understand.

"How do I use it?"

"Give it to my wound and try to say heal"

"Heal" Neron followed Hazel's instructions and in a few moments his wound healed.

"why can I use it?" neron asked, he was confused because he could not use healing magic.

"That's because the magic paper already holds the magic written there" Hazel replied

The man tried to stand up but as he did so his stomach hurt and made Hazel almost fall but she managed to hold him back.

"Is it still sick?" asked Neron worriedly

"It doesn't seem like I'm just tired" Hazel said and walked over to the Veronian they got.

"Let's go home"
