Chapter 03 - Starting the Training

Neron walks into the kitchen because it's almost time for dinner he usually helps Hazel prepare food, despite being only 7 years old, Neron always helps Hazel with homework despite Hazel's repeated claims that Neron doesn't need to help her, but Neron insists on helping her.

Arriving at the kitchen the food was on the table and Hazel took some bread in the cupboard and placed it on the table.

"Neron let's eat"

Hazel sat down and prepared to eat the food in front of her

"why didn't you tell me you were going to have dinner?"

"Let's not think this is still not your job"

Hazel eats spelled roast meat and also eats corn soup voraciously.

"but I can do it"

Since Neron was hungry he sat down and started eating the food.

"you're a little girl, than try to eat this"

Hazel gave her the bread she bought in the city.

"what's this?"

"try it out"

The bread was big enough for a child like Neron but for Hazel if she only ate one taste less then at least she had to eat two.

"hmmmm"

Neron ate the bread with an indifferent gaze as it entered his mouth the sweet and tender taste he felt made him happy and also the chocolate inside the bread melted and made it's getting better.

"how does it feel ?"

"it feels good I've never eaten this food"

Neron continued to eat the bread voraciously.

"Where did you get it ?"

"i bought it in town. hey Neron instead of you calling me with you, you and Hazel what about Dad?"

"No"

"why ?"

"i feel uncomfortable"

"huh yeah"

through the conversation, Neron's eyes were involuntarily fixed on the wall or rather the sword on the wall.

"that sword I've never seen you use it"

Hazel looked at the sword as if she was remembering the past.

"that sword is not a random sword it is one of the 12 Legendary Swords. Do you know what? those swords were special swords because they had incredible strength"

Neron shook his head

"no"

Then Hazel began to explain about the 12 Legendary Swords.

Legendary Sword is the sword that connects this world, the swords there are 12 and divided into 2 namely Hatranis and Dastanis. Hatranis is a sword that belongs to the leader of every continent so whoever possesses the sword of Hatranis will become the Leader of that continent. And then Dastanis is a sword that is possessed as the representative and protector of the continent and the one who possesses Hatranis.

"so in short it is so"

"Hmmm.....why are there only 6 Hatranis swords while in this world there are 7 continents ?"

"all I know is that the Algearland Continent has neither the sword of Hatranis nor Dastanis"

"then your sword?"

"it was a Vrodast sword that had the power of slashing as fast as light and included Dastanis"

"Aren't you bound by a promise or a spell to protect Hatranis?"

"well, it used to be, but now the owner of the Dastanis sword has spread all over the world so no one knows"

After learning that Hazel has a great sword, Neron believes that Hazel is a great swordsman.

"if your sword alone is great, surely your swordsmanship is so great, Hazel do I have one wish?"

"what is that ?"

Hazel smiled as she was praised

Hazel she took a moment and thought and then she started to decide.

"alright, but why do you want me to teach you now? whereas the days before you were very busy with your book".

"There's a dream I want to achieve"

"Hooo you already have it, great

tomorrow we'll start in the morning"

The next morning Neron and Hazel were ready in the courtyard. The sun had just risen and the dew was still stuck on the leaves, the cold was still piercing the skin but they were both excited to start the exercise.

"Neron before you learn to sword I want to see your abilities. Try now you attack me with your bare hands"

taking the position to fight Hazel awaits the impending attack on her.

"good"

Taking the same position, Neron quickly ran towards Hazel who was 5 meters away. The first thing he did was to do a punch but Hazel held him back with her left hand, the man did not expect that Neron's punch was so strong that he shifted slightly from where he was standing but Neron did not stop there he continued with a side kick, realizing that he had no defense Hazel pushed Neron so that his kick only hit the wind, driven Neron landed perfectly and once again he attacked Hazel. Hazel awaits an attack from Neron but to her surprise now Neron does not attack from the front but the back, Neron did a spinning kick because too fast Hazel was hit by a little attack but he managed to avoid it at the last moment so that the kick fell to the ground and left a mark.

"That's enough. I didn't expect you to have such great strength and speed that your body was well taken care of"

"thank you. are you okay?"

"just relax, even though I accepted it it was just a little bit, so now we're going to start"

he took the 2 wooden swords that Hazel had prepared and gave one of them to Neron.

"See and learn"

Hazel made a few slow slashes so that Neron could follow her.

"that's some simple slashes"

Then he walked towards the straw doll that was there and Hazel coated the wooden sword with an aura that made the wooden sword sharp so that it could cut the straw doll easily.

"and this is a simple, powerful slash"

Seeing that Neron's eyes sparkled made Hazel proud and puffed her chest when it was just a basic technique but because Neron was amazed so Hazel became a little arrogant.

"wow that's cool, how do you do it?"

"i still can't teach you that technique, because you still can't concentrate your energy or even drain it so just focus on the simple slash I taught you first, I'll go in to make breakfast"

"good"

Now that Neron was becoming more and more excited, in order to learn that technique he would have to learn a simple slash first so he would do it quickly.

When Hazel went into the house to make breakfast Neron started to do some slashes to the straw doll in front of him he did as Hazel had done without any difficulty, then Neron tried to slash again at the straw doll but this time he focused the aura inside his body and drained it with the sword in his hand, a thin aura began to envelop the sword. Neron then slashes diagonally and makes the doll fall to the ground.

"hhhhh you did this?"

Hazel is surprised to see the doll cut in half after making Hazel's food come out to see Neron and what she sees makes her distrustful of the child who is just learning to sword can already drain the aura, it usually took about two more years before Neron could control the aura.

"How can you?"

"oh I just do as you do"

"maybe you're a genius"

Hazel tries to ease her shock.

"all right, let's eat"

then Hazel invites Neron to eat. Today's menu is sandwiches and some fruits.

"it looks like you can already use a sword. How about later in the afternoon we do some sparing?"

"that sounds good but why not now?"

Hazel looked at Neron with a stupid look.

"you think my job just accompanies you to practice there are things I have to do"

"what's that?"

"you don't have to know if you're keeping the house or maybe you can play with the other kids"

"no I'll continue my training".

"alright"

leaving those words Hazel left Neron alone.
