The President's Wife

The President's Wife
Chapter 59: Go Home Now

Pram still hears Kinar's story about his mother's condition. The word-for-word strands that came out of Kinar's lips, made him feel even more guilty. Hit because the cause of her mother's illness was her. Was he an unfilial child. Was he too hard on his own mother. There were many questions and regrets that filled his mind at this moment.

“Mama is being treated by a doctor,” said Kinar, breaking the silence created between the two.

They were sitting in front of the IGD room. Kinar sits at the right end and Pram sits at the left end of a four-person capacity waiting chair. The two of them both stared at the glass door in front of him with anxious faces. Repeatedly Pram rubbed rough his face, regret felt tight on his chest.

Before long, a young man dressed in white came out of the room to meet Kinar.

“Sorry, Family mother of female patient inside?” ask the doctor who recognized Kinar, because he had met face to face before entering the IGD room before.

“My son, Doc,” said Pram directly standing up.

“Oh sorry, look sir. Meet me doctor Roni. My damn thing is on duty tonight. The patient's condition is stable. His blood pressure was high. Tomorrow, we will do an examination and some advanced tests to confirm it.”

“Good Doc,” sahut Pram.

“Patients can already be moved to the treatment room. Please take care of his administration. Excuse me first. Later there will be nurses who help,” said the doctor, saying goodbye to Pram and Kinar.

Hearing the doctor's explanation, Pram could breathe a sigh of relief. At least nothing bad happened.

“Kinar, I tipped mama,” said Pram, hurrying to the cashier to complete the administration and move his mother to the treatment room.

“Good Mas.” Kinar nodded and smiled. After a long time, Pram finally wanted to invite him to talk well. Want to look back at him even if only briefly. Want to make him exist. Unlike before, even Pram never appreciated his existence.

After completing all his administration, Ibu Citra was transferred to the treatment room. The nursery is spacious, with luxurious facilities like a five-star hotel. There are two sofabeds that can be used by the family to wait for patients.

Pram chose to sit next to his mother's bed. His hand continued to tightly grip the hands of Mother Citra who was still not awake from her sleep.

“Mas.” Kinar offered a cup of hot coffee for Pram. Long stay with Ibu Citra, he already memorized with Pram's favorite drink. Even he knows all about Pram.

“Thank you,” suhut Pram, put coffee on the nightstand. Let it just.

Just now that he was about to grasp his mother's hand back, he suddenly remembered Kailla who he had left in the car with Bayu. Ever since he was busy taking care of his mother, he had completely forgotten the whereabouts of his wife.

Deg—

Pram ran out, without telling Kinar what happened. His feelings were not calm, regretting that he had left Kailla in the car. The bad thoughts suddenly filled his brain. Twice, he still remembered clearly. Twice he leaves Kailla in the car alone and always ends up in a kidnapping.

“Mas..,” call Kinar, confusion. Followed behind Pram, but the woman's man had already run to the elevator.

Pram who was still huffing because he ran towards the parking lot, opened the car door violently.

“Kai..”.

The sentence was hanging, his world stopping instantly as he looked at the empty back seat.

“Kai..,” call him again. View around the parking lot. There's no one. Just a row of cars neatly arranged in the silence of the night.

“Bay..,” call Pram half yelling. He panicked, he was scared, he was anxious.

Pram runs down the parking lot, hoping to meet someone who can be questioned. From a distance, Pram can see Bayu who is walking closer.

“Bay!” his yell.

Hearing the voice of her employer's scream, Bayu immediately ran over to Pram. Just looking at his employer, he could guess if something had happened.

“Iya Boss,” say Bayu casually. He holds a plastic bag in his right hand.

“Bay, my wife where?” ask Pram, worry.

“In the car,” says Bayu is still not aware Kailla is no longer there.

“Bre*sec!! I asked you to look after her, but you left her.”

Pram immediately pushed his assistant rough. Run out looking for Kailla. Almost fifteen minutes of running around, asking security. But still have not found an answer. Kailla's gone missing in the night. No one saw his wife. Everyone he asked answered with a head.

“Bay, search outside! Search until you can, otherwise I will kill you!” threaten Pram, pull up the collar of a Bayu shirt. His face radiated anger mixed with anxiety.

Bayu, who had just returned, searched the streets around the hospital, met Pram with his bare hands. There is no Kailla.

“Sorry Boss, outside also no,” report Bayu, drowned limp. Realizing her stupidity has left Kailla alone in the car for a pack of cigarettes.

Pram sighed violently, squeezing his hair holding back the annoyance, anger and worry that gathered into one.

“Please check cctv hospital. I went to see Kinar for a moment. I had to leave my mother to her,” Pram said, running towards the elevator.

His feelings are mixed at the moment. You want to scream and cry at once. The burden of work, the pressure of his mother, not to mention his wife disappeared now. It doesn't seem fair, why would God have to test it like this at the same time.

Pram's hand has opened the door to his mother's nursery. His gaze was fixed on Kinar who was sitting with his mother. Not far away, Kailla was sitting on the sofa, closing her eyes.

Pram is speechless. Between annoyance and relief.

“Kai, come with me!” pram's orders, already dragged his wife out of the room. Leaving behind Kinar who was looking at them with question marks.

“Honey, what's up?” ask Kailla wonder.

He was not long able to sit comfortably in the room, after almost half an hour of pacing back and forth, asking the information department officer who did not get a definite answer. Back she had to run all the way to the IGD room, figuring out the whereabouts of her husband and mother-in-law.

She wanted to sleep in the car, but after thinking about her husband, she waited alone for her mother in the hospital. He finally came down.

“Where have you been?” pram asked annoyed. They were already standing in the corridor of the hospital, not far from Mother Citra's room.

“I caught up with you, but I don't know so I.”

Kaila could not continue her words. Pram already nagged her.

“Why not tell Bayu? Why go in secret? I've been looking for you everywhere? When can you understand, Kai?” cut Pram, trying to hold back his anger.

Kaila could not answer, just lowered her head. Didn't expect Pram to scold her.

“If it can only trouble me, you should stay home!” nagel Pram's.

“No need to come to the hospital,” continued Pram again. His breath was still hunting in panic. He ran around, down the hospital, sharing duties with Bayu who was looking outside.

“Now go home. Ask Bayu to drive you. You can sleep well!” pram said, expelling his wife.

Her mother's problems are not over yet, plus Kailla is adding more trouble for her. Not to mention all day he was preoccupied with office work that was not inexhaustible. He hasn't even had a proper rest.

Kailla just kept quiet, squeezing the end of her shirt down. Kinar, who was standing not too far away from them, hid his smile when he saw Kailla whom his husband had taken care of.

Yes, the sneaky female Kinar deliberately followed the two. He was already suspicious when he saw Kailla who suddenly appeared in the hospital, almost simultaneously with Pram who ran out without saying goodbye to her. Especially when he went inside, he had a glimpse of Pram's unfriendly face.

“Sorry,” says Kailla slowly.

“Bet Bayu take you home. You can sleep at home. Here is also uncomfortable,” said Pram, slightly softened when he saw Kailla who did not want to look at him.

“Iya..”

“I love you. Home now,” pinta Pram, approaching his wife. Hugged Kailla for a while, then peeked at her forehead repeatedly.

Kailla did not say much or argue. According to all her husband's orders. Pram is in a lot of trouble, he doesn't want to add to it anymore. She was in Pram's position now, when her daddy went to the hospital.

As she turned around, Kailla's eyes caught the figure of Kinar peering at them. The woman smiled to see him scolded by Pram.

“He was mocking me. If only there had been no husband, I would have ripped his mouth out. Just look, he can still smile no!” kailla grunts in the heart.

Pram looked at Kailla who was moving away. There was regret for scolding his wife. Regret having lost control for a moment. If only it wasn't her mother who was being treated, she would have chosen to go home with Kailla.
