The President's Wife

The President's Wife
Chapter 56: Breaking Relationships Temporarily

“Pram.."

Just a word of it, then Mother Citra cried. Staring at Kinar with tears.

“Kinar, please go inside, I have to talk to Pram,” he said slowly. Finally chose to obey and soften in order to make peace with his son.

Ibu Citra chose to sit down, reaching for the terrace bench not far from where she stood. Pram stays in his place.

“Maybe.. to you Kinar means nothing. But you need to know, your mama is still there today because of Kinar.”

Sentence after sentence slid out from the trembling lips holding back the sense he had been trying to hide for nearly 40 years. It was Kinar who had been looking after and caring for her like a real daughter.

“Already Ma. I never had a problem with Kinar. I came here just to hear Mama's explanation, why hit my wife!” pram sounded annoyed. Remembering Kailla's swollen face hurts.

Ibu Citra was appreciative, showing her cynical smile.

“I've guessed. True said Kinar, the boy was cunning. She must have complained to her husband,” said Ibu Citra slowly. But Pram's hearing can still catch his mother's cynical speech.

“My wife is not like that, Ma!” cut Pram, there's anger trying to keep him out. If not his mother, he would have slapped back the man who dared to touch his wife.

“I took care of her from birth, I took care of her since childhood. He is sometimes childish. But she really appreciates the relationship between a mother and her child. He even refused to tell me!” pram explained.

Pram sighed, looking at his mother who now lowered her head. Either feeling guilty or feeling like you won't win arguing with your son.

Since when did you find out that my wife is the daughter of Riadi Dirgantara?” pram asked, throwing away his gaze. He did not want to falter for the umpteenth time. Kaila's tears and her mother's tears mean the same to her.

“Since the first time you refused to marry Kinar. A few days later, my mother found out everything. But she refused to find out much more about your wife, not even recognizing her appearance. Mama is afraid of getting hurt to see her smile on top of our family suffering,” said Ibu Citra slowly.

Pram smiled cynically. “Even mama spying on me!”

“Didn't you do the same to mama!” said Ibu Citra does not want to lose. His hands point to cctv cameras installed in almost all corners of the house.

“I did it to take care of mom. I have to make sure my mom is okay. Not to spy on mama,” explained Pram.

Pram looked to be massaging his temples, his head was dizzy. Not finished the company problem, plus the problem of his mother who is so hard-hearted and does not want to give up.

“Then..why still force me to marry Kinar. Though mama knows, if I am a man who has the status of a husband,” continued Pram waiting for an answer.

“Until any time, mama is not sincere there are descendants of Riadi to be a member of Pratama Indraguna family,” said Ibu Citra slowly. Seen Mother Citra closed her eyes, trying to hold back the tears that gathered and ready to go down.

“But the reality is so. My wife is Kailla Riadi Dirgantara.”

Pram rubbed his face rough with both hands.

“What should I do to get your rest?” pram's question is a little weakened. Not as hard as before.

Silent. Ibu Citra chose silence. Squeezing the handle of the chair, resisting the turbulent taste in his heart.

“I have no problem, mama hates Riadi, I understand. But I can't see my wife crying,” Pram explained.

“Pram, can't you be fair to mama. It's not fair to me, nor to your papa,” Mother Citra.

“I've been trying to be fair to both of you. I don't know what else to do. Mama herself who chose different path with me.”

“Mama knows, this problem is not me or my wife, but it is in my heart,” Pram continued again.

Mother Citra was silent, her gaze was glaring. I don't know, it feels hard to accept.

“You are my only son..” whispered Ms. Citra, quietly barely audible.

“PT. Wijaya Indraguna.I will rebuild the company for my mother. Enough?” ask Pram.

“Otherwise what mom wants? Tell me, I will grant it as long as I do not ask me to remarry or divorce my wife,” Pram continued.

Citra's mother shook her head.

“Besok my lawyer will come take care of it. I can't give Riadi Dirgantara Group to mama. It does not belong to the Pratama Indraguna family. Maybe in the beginning. But until as big as now, it was the result of my in-laws hard work,” explained Pram.

“Mama doesn't want all that, Pram,” reject Ibu Citra.

“Then what does mom want?” ask Pram.

“Revenge?” pram Todong.

“Please mama take revenge on Riadi Dirgantara, but don't you dare touch my wife again!” threaten Pram suddenly. His voice sounded firm and not playful.

“Pram, you threatened mama?!” Ibu Citra began to be lured.

“Your delay, Pram!” Mother Citra spilled her frustration as well as anger.

“Sorry if I missed. It's up to mama to call me disobedient. But I really don't know how to wake my mom anymore. My wife has nothing to do with her parents, ” explained Pram.

“You chose that woman over your own mama, Pram?” asked Ibu Citra not to believe. Gurgling his head, not expecting his son to change and resisting him like this.

“I did not choose, mama who forced me to go from mama's life,” explained Pram.

“I'm tired of having to argue with mama for the same thing every day. I don't care anymore. If you want to live like this, whatever! I'm sorry,” said Pram, approaching his mother.

“I love you. But I don't want my life to be arranged!” said Pram, hugging Mother Citra at a glance, before leaving.

Ibu Citra could hardly believe what she saw and heard. Pram, his son who loved him so much, chose to leave him only because of a woman.

“Pram, you are my son. You forgot how your father died because of Riadi. How can you..” Mother Citra began to cry, spilling her heart.

“I only slapped him twice, you broke off the relationship with your own mama. But that man killed your father, you can still forgive him. You're crazy, Pram!”said Ibu Citra, still sobbing. Many times he stroked his chest, enduring the tightness of his son's behavior.

“Riadi is in charge, not my wife. Please if you want to kill Riadi, but never touch Kaillaku,” Pram said casually.

“And again, don't ask me to take revenge on Riadi,” Pram continued again.

“Pram..!” shouted Mother Citra, came to her son who was standing sculpting. Hit Pram's body repeatedly.

“I've never had a child like you! You should have died first! Why did you reappear and bring wounds to me,” said Ibu Citra, continuing to beat while crying.

Pram is silent, receiving his mother's blow. He can't do anything at the moment. If the mother persisted, they would still hurt each other.

“I was trying to make peace with my past,” isak Ibu Citra. Kneeling on the floor while squeezing his chest.

“But why did you bring my enemy's son and make him your wife!”

“There are many women in this world, please! Whoever it was, Mama would have accepted it with pleasure. But why should marry princess Riadi.” Mother Citra's cry grew louder and heartbreaking.

“You do not see how your papa wounds, you do not see how his pain is brought to death.”

“Ma, already. Build.”

Pram can't see his mama like this. With both hands, he grabbed the old body of his mother. There was actually a sense of unbearability in his heart. Anyhow, as bad as anything, mama is still mama. Nothing will be interrupted even if you want to refuse as hard as anything.

“I didn't leave you. I just gave my mom time to think and think. Until whenever my mom stays my mom. But this is my life. No one has the right to manage my life, including mama.” continued Pram.

Hugging Mom Citra tightly, Pram whispered.

“Ma, listen to me,” said Pram still tightly clutched his mother.

“I love you, Ma. But I love my wife too. Forever I will be your son, but my life now belongs to my wife. Never hit my wife again, otherwise mama will lose your son,” Pram whispered.

“Then you hate my wife, mom can hit me. Kailla was innocent in the least. Good for all her daddy past or even our wedding.”

“He sacrificed a lot for this wedding. He doesn't even love me, but he's stayed by my side for four years.”

Ibu Citra was silent. Take off his arms and look at his son. Pram's eyes glazed over, holding back tears.

“Mama will meet your wife to apologize,” said Ibu Citra slowly. His last attempt to keep his son.

“No! I don't allow you to see my wife again,” Pram said.

“Pram, are you serious?” ask Mother Citra, do not believe.

“Iya, for now I don't allow mama to see him. In fact, I also need permission from him to meet mama,” explained Pram, making Mother Citra's eyes widened.

“Mama can contact Bayu to ask me. I'm saying goodbye now. Take good care of your mom. I love you so much, Ma,” said Pram, saying goodbye.

“Pram, you are not wrong to break up like this just because mom hit your wife?” ask Ibu Citra make sure again. His face looked sad.

“Iya, but please don't use the word just hit, Ma. It sounds like my wife is worth nothing" Pram said casually.

"If Mama knew the meaning of a Kailla in my life, I'm sure you'd rethink before you hurt her."

Hurry to his car, where Bayu has been waiting for him since.

“Bay, let's go!” pram's orders were relaxed. Even the matanh man did not think too much.

“Bos, not wrong mama left like that?” ask Bayu wonder. Can't bear to see Mother Citra crying tears. Lamenting the departure of his son.

“Leave it. Mama should be given a deterrent effect. It cannot be just by speech. That way, he just realized his mistake,” said Pram casually.

“Let's mom why-why?” tanya Bayu was worried.

“Yes already, you alone are his son. Your tongue seems to have been flexible to call mama,” continued Pram.

Bayu shook his head. It was heartless to leave the old woman crying like that. So pitiful.

“My head hurts, Bay,” said Pram, closing his eyes. Sighing heavily, signifying how much weight to bear on his shoulders.

“Bos want to go home? Spooning with Non Kailla,” bargain Bayu, smile.

Four years spent together. His relationship with Pram is not just a boss with subordinates. Even Bayu where Pram has been complaining all this time. If Kailla has Sam, Pram has Bayu.

“Can Bay. If possible I will spend the rest of my life with Kailla in the room,” said Pram, chuckling.

“So where are you going? ask Bayu.

“Ke project. After that to the office,” command Pram.
