Still in the same bed, Elston seemed reluctant to release his embrace from Mia's body.

He still misses that girl a lot. Even though he had spent all day it felt like the longing that was lodged in his chest would not subside.

"Are we just gonna be like this all day?" mia asked as she looked at Elston who was also staring fixedly at her. "Em.. You're not working? looks like you're too late." Mia reminded. Because at that time it was already showing at one noon.

"of course. Did you just realize it." Funny right? Elston always had a counter argument. Sure oes. Hasn't it been since we first met, this guy was like that? why did you realize Mia?

...You're the odd one to think Elston would obey you like a kid always waiting to be directed. Mia murmured in her heart....

Because Elston did not want to budge, with all his strength Mia released herself until completely sitting next to Elston. At last. "That's it. Don't joke anymore. Come onl. You gotta get up." Mia pulled slowly the hand that was still intertwined between her fingers.

"You've missed your breakfast. And now I won't let you miss lunch time either. If you do that, I'll also definitely get a scolding from Bones." Mia still tried to pull Elston's hand until the man sat down even with a forced look.

Because of Mia's efforts, inevitably Elston also complies. "Are you paying attention to me now?" Elston smiled. teasing Mia.

After preparing lunch and arranging it on the dining table, Mia returned to the top floor to check on Elston's readiness.

As Mia searches for Elston to her room, the man is not there. Mia looked towards the workspace. The door of the room was open. And from there Mia could hear Elston's voice.

"He didn't want to work. But look, what is this?" muttered Mia walked closer towards the workroom. "Do everything as neatly as possible. I don't want any mistakes. Both about Vivian and Mr. Reaghal." Elston's voice sounded cold.

Mia's steps stopped. He did not know why Elston mentioned the two names. "Do as I say."

What are you talking about Els? mia's chest was beating rapidly. "I don't want to see that woman around me. Catch that. About Mr. Reaghal, I'll take care of it myself." Said Elston still continuing the conversation with someone Mia didn't know.

Although her heart was filled with all sorts of questions, Mia did not want to interrupt Elston, as she herself did not know what the man was actually talking about. All Mia knew was Elston who repeatedly mentioned Vivian and Owen.

Not wanting to be considered eavesdropping, Mia went back down to the ground floor. He chose to wait there while digesting what Elston's earlier words meant.

"Mia...?" elston's distinctive voice sounded in tandem with the sound of his footsteps coming down the stairs. "Where are you?" call Elston again.

"Miss Mia is in the mister's pantry." said Bones quickly. "really? alright. Thank you, Bones." Elston stepped quickly towards the pantry to look for the figure he still missed.

"You waited a long time?" Elston kissed the top of Mia's head, smiling in a knot. "Not really. Come sit down and eat." Mia prepared Elston's food and also prepared another meal on the tray. "I'll deliver this to Bones" said Mia quickly.

"You're gonna let me eat alone?" elston's asking looks grim.

"I won't be long. Just deliver this." said Mia accompanied by a little smile. Elston nodded too.

As he said, after delivering lunch Bones Mia returned to the dining table to accompany Elston, and the two also ate together while having a warm conversation.

After lunch, Bones was already standing next to the two. "Your secretary called you, the leader of SEAM GROUP wants to meet you right now" Bones reported on a request from Elston's private secretary.

Elston wiped his mouth while stealing a careful look at Mia. "What I'm saying is, you have to go to work, right?" said Mia who did not want the atmosphere there to turn awkward because Elston was worried about her.

Elston smiled wryly. "Huh.it sucks. Then you come with me. I still miss you." asked Elston to Mia. And obviously, the man didn't want to be denied.

"Do I have to come? there's some work I need to get Els done. I also have to meet Mrs. Olivia." bargained Mia, honestly plus little reason to refuse. Olivia was Elston's current co-worker in LA, and the same person who wanted to recruit Mia joined his company.

"Don't forget to call me." Elston recalled Mia. The girl just nodded with a smile. "Till Els." said Mia when the two had passed.

Mia can breathe a sigh of relief. He was still not ready to meet Owen with a situation that would make them feel awkward again. Even more so when he was with Elston. Mia could not imagine what Elston might do there.

"Hey." greet Elston again made Mia a little surprised. "Els.. What's up?" the man came back. Standing behind Mia with a look that had no idea what it meant.

"May I kiss you? just on the cheek. Nothing more." she asked politely and a little awkwardly. Whats? just-there's. Adorable. Mia gave a small smile. He stood and faced Elston. "Just do it." said Mia.

Getting permission from Mia, really makes Elston feel happy. Without hesitation he kissed Mia as he requested. The right cheek, the left cheek, gently and also a pounding feeling.

"Thank you Mia."
