Mia sat on the sofa, while Elston sat on a hairy carpet and wrapped his hands in Mia's lap.

"Are you going to hate me if I'm not the kind of me you know right now, Mia?" elston's voice sounded strange. The man showed another side that Mia had never seen before.

Elston was like a child asking for his protection. "What do you mean Els..?"

"I don't want you to hate me Mia. I want you to stay close to me like this. Am I being too selfish?"

Mia still had no idea what Elston was talking about. To be sure Elston was acting like a child who was expecting attention from him.

"No. Of course it's not selfish." said Mia answered Elston's question earlier.

Elston looked up with sparkling eyes. Oh God. The look Elston wasn't supposed to give. "really? Can I really do that? may I want you to stay with me?"

"certain. Why aren't. As long as you keep paying my salary. I have no problem with the new contract."

"You're gonna raise my salary?"

"You can determine your own salary as long as it's a lifetime contract."
