Chapter 138

From Hasan's office, Husein rushed straight to Anya's house. Many times Husein pressed the bell, but there was no answer at all from inside the house. Husein then asked the security guard who stood guard at the housing complex. But the answer I got was not at all satisfactory. The guard on duty seemed to be neglecting in his duties, so he could not give a valid answer, whether Anya came out of the housing complex or not.

That afternoon Husein had to leave empty-handed. Husein tried to remain calm despite his mind being confused. In the meantime he will go to lunch and take care of some work online. After that Husein will come back to Anya's house. Fortunately Anya had a housemate who lived with her. If it's true Anya left the house, surely Husein can still ask his friend, right?

Husein finally chose to stop by a restaurant not far from Anya's house. There Husein opened his laptop. And when the waiter came, Husein only ordered food with origin. All that was on Husein's mind was that he had to finish his work and lunch as soon as possible, after which Husein would return to Anya's house.

But it turns out his body said another, because it was too tired and lack of sleep, Husein actually fell asleep at the restaurant while waiting for an email reply from Rayhan.

The waiter woke him up when it was late afternoon. Husein immediately washed his face, then rushed back to Anya's house. Just one time pressing the bell, someone already opened the door for him. But it's not Anya. And his heart was disappointed.

"Sorry, is Anya home?"

Ask them impatiently.

"I just got home, it seems like Anya is in her room, let me call her first", replied the girl politely.

The girl entered the house after telling Hussein to wait. But somehow up to half an hour later the girl did not come out. And Husein's premonition is starting to get bad.

Not wanting to wait any longer, Husein again pressed the bell to get the girl out.

Not long after the girl came out with a look of panic and chaos.

"What's wrong?"

"Whatchu mean? Where the hell is he going? Don't try to hide Anya from me!", cried Husein in annoyance.

Not meant to be rude, Husein was only worried about Anya.

"I didn't hide it, I just found out Anya left the house and I was worried too!"

Fitri then brought Husein into Anya's room for the man to believe. Anya did not say goodbye and did not say where to go. He's on a table in his room Anya just

leave a piece of paper for Fitri.

Fitri, I'm leaving first, please don't look for me, I'll call you later if things are conducive. Thank you so much for your kindness so far...

Fitri doesn't believe Anya just left without any sign. Fitri tried to contact Anya's phone repeatedly, but the results were the same. Anya's number could not be reached. Fitri even forgot that he left the guest waiting for Anya in front.

After seeing himself into Anya's room, Husein believed what Fitri had said.

Husein could only sit limp on the floor of Anya's room. Hussain really felt stupid. Had he been more quick to realize what Anya was going through, perhaps he could have prevented Anya from leaving and convinced Anya that everything would be fine.
