The Marrying The Prince

The Marrying The Prince
30

The restaurant Aileen chose for breakfast is really located not far from Fadar Palace, only about 5 kilometers away. Aileen drove her car there herself. Jane barely speaks anything in the car because Aileen is the one dominating the conversation.

Arriving at the restaurant, Aileen handed over her car keys to the vallet officer. The building was not very large, but the service provided was very satisfying.

Jane believes the price of her food must be sky high, to the point that she does not dare to defecate because she does not want to waste. The ginger-haired lady followed Aileen to the VIP room on the inside. There was already a middle-aged man welcoming them.

"Good morning, Miss Durrant. Welcome back to our restaurant," said the man kindly. He was wearing a chef's suit, complete with a hat and shoes. A knife was tucked in a pouch located on his sleeve.

"Good morning, Al," replied Aileen. He gave one of his hands to be kissed by the chef.

The chef did it politely. "And who is this beautiful lady?" ask the chef.

"This is Jane Watson from New York. Jane, this is Alvin Dalglish, Head Chef of this lovely restaurant," Aileen introduces Jane and Alvin.

"Die, Mr. Dalglish," said Jane. He deliberately did not go along to call Al because he was not familiar.

"Oh, just call me Al. It must be Miss Durrant who forced you to come here," Alvin chuckled. "He always promoted this place to people he just met."

"That's because this restaurant deserves to have more repeat customers. Although Jane's not English, but I'm sure she'll love your homemade food, Al," Aileen smiled sweetly.

"I can't wait to taste it" Jane said. He hasn't had breakfast yet. Usually he ate very fancy palace food. She may eat outside.

"elright. I'll prepare for you, beautiful ladies. Please sit down and enjoy the orange juice from our wedding." Alvin leads Aileen and Jane to a round table with 3 seats around it.

The two beauties sat in their respective positions. After Alvin left, shortly afterwards, a male servant brought a tray of two glasses of yellow liquid. "Please, Miss," he said gently.

"Thank you, Nolan," said Aileen. "We, the British, always drink orange juice or milk as a complement to the breakfast menu. I don't want to drink milk, so I hope you don't mind orange juice."

"Of course not. Usually I just eat bread or not even breakfast because it's too late for work" Jane laughed at herself.

Aileen just smiled at Jane's words. He glanced at the shape of the woman before him and wondered what Phillip had seen of the woman. Then, he turned to his cup.

Jane noticed the way Aileen drank, from picking up a glass with a fingertip, tilting it, to swallowing the juice without a sound. Very classy.

"Do you mind if I invite a friend? He was coming soon," asked Aileen after putting down the glass.

"No, I don't mind. The more crowded the more exciting, isn't it?"

Aileen smiled. "Oh, that's him," he said as he realized the arrival of a man he was waiting for. He immediately stood up and greeted the man. "Good morning, Tom," he said, then kissed Thomas' cheek.

"Good morning Aileen. Hi, Jane," said Thomas, smiling brightly.

"Tom?" Jane wonder. Judging from his attitude, Aileen seemed to know Prince Thomas Geller, the prince, the son of Lady Grace. But Jane never knew about their closeness because what she caught from the moment she first met Aileen was the attraction of the beautiful woman from London with Phillip.

"You know each other?" ask Aileen. Shocked at his face.

"Yes, you could say so," replied Thomas, refusing to tell the beginning of his meeting with Jane, the woman he was expecting.

"Let's sit down" Aileen asked.

They sat three around the table. Only a sigh could be heard from the three, as if they did not know what to say.

"How are you, Jane?" ask Thomas at last. His good looks in the morning were outstanding, despite wearing only a white polo shirt and shorts. It did not emit a princely aura.

"Good news. You you?" reply Jane brief.

"I didn't think the friend Aileen meant was you. Actually I was surprised. How did you become friends?"

"Oh, I'm sorry it was me" Jane said.

Thomas chuckles. "You drink juice without me."

"Just calm down, Tom. I've already booked your favorite," said Aileen.

"Do you remember?"

"Of course, honey. I won't forget it. Nolan," called Aileen to the servant who had been standing next to the door of the VIP room. "Bring Prince Thomas a drink."

"Did Phillip not come?" thomas asked after Nolan closed the door.

"No. There are only three of us" Aileen replied before Jane opened her mouth. Of course he didn't want Jane to tell the truth that Phillip wasn't invited.

"Why didn't he come? Didn't she always want to be around you, Jane?"

"He's not awake yet" Jane replied.

Phillip. "There's no way he hasn't woken up. He used to get up early to do everything. Why don't you take her, Aileen?"

Aileen was shocked because Thomas seemed to be able to read her thoughts. "I-I just want to talk to you guys," she replied stammering.

Thomas was silent for a second. "alright. What do you want to screw up?"

"What's your busy life now?"

"Well, I'm still here and there on social matters. I also wrote my eighth book. Yeah, nothing else. That you?"

"I'm on leave."

"Your patients aren't looking for you?" cananda Thomas's.

Aileen smiled. "I've been telling them all these days."

"You're a doctor?" ask Jane to Aileen.

"He's a bone specialist. Many men deliberately broke their own bones in order to become his patients" Thomas laughed.

"You're making this up, Tom," commented Aileen. "I went to medical school at Stanford, and then I took a bone specialist."

"He's a genius, Jane. He can tell your bone structure just by looking at it once."

"Oh yeah?" Jane could not believe it.

"You're too complimentary" said Aileen timidly. "Jane, what's your job in New York?"

"I've been fired" Jane replied.

A look of sadness on Aileen's face. "I'm so sorry. Is that why you went to Vlada?"

"No. I was picked up by..."

"She I got her here" Thomas interrupted before Jane was done.

"really?" Aileen turned towards Jane in disbelief.

"No, that's not true" Jane said.

"I met her at her sister Jill's wedding. I'm interested in him, and then I'll just kidnap him" Thomas said.

Jane was confused as to why Thomas wasn't telling the truth. He didn't kidnap Jane, but Phillip.
