The Marrying The Prince

The Marrying The Prince

Thomas looked at Jane's curse. "What's wrong?"

"I forgot to tell Phillip. I promise to tell him when I want to go home. It's 9 p.m. She must be angry," Jane still touched the phone's screen, counting how many missed calls she had. "There's a message from Jill too."

Thomas laughed, very loudly. "I'm sure he won't be angry" he said.

"How can you be sure?"

"I know him. I never saw him angry. He can't be angry. Maybe anger isn't in his life dictionary. What kind of man is he?" grumble Thomas himself.

This time Jane looked. "You envy her?"

Thomas frowned. "Female for not being angry? The truth is," he said disparagingly, more to denial.

Jane rolled her eyeballs. "Can you speed up this car?"

"certain."

Meanwhile, at Fadar Palace, the palace guards announced Aileen's arrival. The woman nodded her head at the guard.

"Please come in, Aileen," said Phillip who escorted Aileen to her study.

"Where are your parents?" aileen asked while looking around. "It's so lonely here."

"They are in Australia. What do you want to drink?"

Aileen walked slowly, skimming through the titles of the books on the shelf. "Anything you have" Aileen replied without taking her eyes off the book. "You're still writing Keyush's book."

"Yes. I like to read his book. He writes well, "praise Phillip as he pours ice cubes and gins into the available glass.

"I think if it wasn't for him being a member of the kingdom, he wouldn't be that popular" Aileen said.

Phillip approached Aileen and picked up a book by Keyush from the shelf. "Read this. You might like it," he said, then sat on the couch after giving me the cold gin and the book.

Aileen read the title, The Sun Is Going Down. "About what?"

"There's always a synopsis on the back cover."

Feeling humiliated, Aileen frowned slightly. He took the book to the sofa opposite Phillip, and began to open the first page.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" ask Phillip.

Aileen glanced at the handsome prince. "I haven't been here in two or three years. I wonder if you've changed your mind" he explained, sipping a little gin. He put his glass on the table.

Phillip smile. "Yes, I've changed my mind" he replied.

Aileen's water turned bright. He was satisfied with the answer Phillip gave. "really?" The book in his hand was closed and just placed next to the glass.

"But it's a little different from your current shadow."

"You mean?"

"I already have a potential fiancee."

Aileen took a breath. "Jane?"

"If he's interested."

Aileen was disappointed, very disappointed. He remembered how Phillip had been chasing him. "But you...

Hearing Phillip's past verb form makes Aileen hurt. He's pretty stupid for rejecting Phillip's love. They used to be very close, but it was not love for him. When Phillip expressed his feelings, he was in love with someone else.

"But you love Tom. That's why I'm retreating regularly" Phillip continued.

Aileen was instantly lethargic. "Is there no chance? You also have to be sure that Jane will repay your love. I see you're not like lovers."

The knock on the door broke their conversation.

"Please come in" said Phillip, hoping Jane would come in.

But apparently not. Jill poked her head between the open door. "Hi, Phillip," she said with a small smile. "Am I interrupting?"

"No, Jill. Entry only. This is Aileen. Aileen, this is Jill, Jane's sister."

Aileen was shocked. "Jane Watson's sister?" tanyanya.

Jill thrust her hand out to shake. "You know my brother? We have the same hair color" she said.

"Aileen Saoirse Durrant from London" Aileen introduced herself as she greeted Jill's hand.

"Wow! I would love to go to London, and so would my husband, Harry. He wants to visit Stamford Bridge. You know, men and football are inseparable. I'm sorry, I'm bouncing," Jill realized she was talking nonstop. It made Phillip laugh. "Phillip, I just wanted to ask, is Jane home yet? I can't find it anywhere, nor is my message reciprocated. Don't let you keep him in one of the rooms."

Aileen was confused at Jill's attitude. He was silent to make.

"Unfortunately not. I tried to contact him but he was not answered. Maybe he still wants to take a walk outside" Phillip guessed.

"Yes, you're right. Okay, I'll excuse you. Nice to meet you, Aileen," Jill walked out of it and instantly the room became quiet.

Aileen looked at Phillip. "You even brought his family here" he said.

"You mind?" reply Phillip.

"No, but I think you're overreacting, Phillip."

"There is nothing superfluous about love. You love someone to the point of being willing to ignore everything. You just focus on him, so you think he's in control of your world."

Aileen sighed. He could not believe that the Phillip he knew now no longer loved him. "You're changing, Phillip," he said.

"No. I'm still Phillip who used to love you so much that I didn't care about my country's duties. In fact, I didn't come to father's coronation as crown prince because it was your birthday."

Phillip's words struck Aileen's heart. But he didn't stop there. His desire to win Phillip's heart was huge. He did not want the prince to fall into Jane's hands. Therefore, he had to set up a strategy. "I heard next week you're going to have a harvest event. I'd like to see if Jane Watson is worthy of Prince Phillip Arthur Freinsted. What would your parents say if she was just an ordinary woman?" The woman drank her gin to the end, then walked arrogantly to the door. "See you next week, Phillip."

Aileen's frustration began to peak. He was still amazed by Phillip's attitude that blatantly rejected him. The beautiful woman was shocked by the statement of the palace guard who said Jane and Thomas came.

"I told you, he wouldn't get angry" said Thomas, then stopped by Aileen's presence on Phillip's doorstep.
