Aileen ran over to Phillip. However, he stumbled and almost fell down onto the asphalt of the bridge.

Seeing Phillip not moving, Jane approached the girl. "Let me help you" he said, holding Aileen's arm. His palm felt the smoothness of the wool jacket material that Aileen wore.

Aileen smiled. "thank you. I'm sorry, I'm a bit careless" he said subtly.

"It's okay." After Aileen stood up straight, Jane took her to Phillip's place, which had just stood up like a handsome mannequin.

"Phillip," call Aileen. His smile was sumingrah when he met the prince face to face. However, unexpectedly, he hugged her tightly. "I miss you so much" he said.

Phillip was surprised, then glanced at Jane who was also glaring. The man was misbehaved, between wanting to return Aileen's embrace or break away. So, he just shut up.

Aileen took a step back from Phillip. "How are you?"

"I hope as good as you are" replied Phillip.

"Yeah," Aileen nodded. Her long shiny blonde hair reflected the light of the lamp and made her look like a royal princess.

"Where do you know I'm here?"

"It's easy enough to find you," Aileen shrugged. "I was on my way to Fadar Palace when I saw your guards around here."

Jane realizes that the guards wearing suits are the same as the men who kidnapped her in the apartment.

"May I ask who he is?" ask Aileen, referring to Jane.

"Oh!" Jane knew she was what Aileen meant. "I'm Jane" he said, extending a hand.

Aileen welcomed him kindly. "Just Jane?"

"Jane Watson."

"Hi, Jane Watson. I'm Aileen Saoirse Durrant from London."

How do you spell it, Jane's mind. "Nice to meet you, Aileen," Jane tried to be just as friendly.

"Nice to meet you too, Jane. I'm sorry if you're bothered by my arrival."

"No, not the same as me-"

"Why did you come to Vlada?" cut Phillip who thinks these two women are just making small talk.

Jane is shocked at Phillip's change in attitude. Usually the man is polite and friendly. Why is his tone impressed now?

"I came to see you" replied Aileen normally.

"What's wrong?"

Aileen glanced at Jane. "Can we talk somewhere else?"

Jane lowered her head because it was bad. "You go first" he said.

"I don't want to leave you here alone" Phillip said.

"I'll be fine."

"Wait first. Is it as important as what you want to talk about until I have to come with you?" ask Phillip to Aileen.

"Phillip, you want strangers to hear what we're talking about?" aileen Protest.

"He's not a stranger" Phillip said.

"Then, who is he?"

"I'm a nobody" Jane replied before Phillip opened his mouth. There was nothing he could do but break them. After all, he also did not want to hear if there were any royal secrets that might have been accidentally uttered from one of them.

Jane's reply left Phillip and Aileen speechless.

"It seems you haven't seen each other in a long time. There's probably a lot Aileen wants to talk to you about, Phillip. You must miss him, too, right?" Jane smiled.

"Are you sure?" phillip asked, wanting to make sure that Jane would return home safely even if alone.

"yeah. I'm used to coming home in New York tonight," Jane chuckled.

"Okay."

Aileen immediately hooked her arm on Phillip's arm, then they turned to leave Jane. Still heard he asked Phillip as they walked towards the car. "Who is he? Why is he calling your name?"

Jane took a breath. All right, the two princes who were fighting over him are no longer left. Thomas has certainly withdrawn from the match and presumably Phillip turned out to have a partner.

Feeling lied to, he smiled to himself like a fool on the glittering bridge, looking at the passers-by without even seeing it. The woman was just someone among the crowd, not a nobody.

"You're wrong, Jill. I don't deserve that happiness. My chance has passed" he murmured alone.

He knows time is still going. He's been there half an hour. Jane stared at the darkness of Ain River beneath her, figuring out how deep the bottom was. "How does it feel to be thrown into the river?"

"You wanna try?" ask a man who is suddenly standing next to Jane. The man smiled brilliantly.

Jane was shocked and looked. "Tom!" yells.

Thomas appeared out of nowhere and since when. He wore a thick long coat, combined with trousers and a scarf. "Shocked?"

Jane nodded, but immediately looked around, trying to find the prince's bodyguards. "Why isn't there?"

"You waiting for someone?"

"No" replied Jane. "You alone?"

"I don't want to be disturbed."

Jane grunting. "Didn't every member of the royal family have to have a guard or assistant ready to accompany them anywhere?"

"Not with me," Thomas followed Jane to Ain River. He was silent for a few seconds. "I'm sorry, Jane," he said before looking down, then straightened his head back into Jane's eyes. The woman's breath added to her regret. "Listen to me first."

"I've forgiven you, Tom," said Jane, who would rather not think about it than forgive.

"You may forgive me, but you still hate me."

"Yes, I hate you so much that I want to swallow you whole" Jane pointed out her fangs.

"I'm sorry for all my attitude. From the beginning, maybe I've never been polite to you."

"Maybe?" Jane's voice is rising.

"okay! I'm not being polite!" exclaim Thomas. He had to catch his breath in order to keep his emotions in check.

"Well, Prince Thomas. You're the one apologizing, but you're more fierce than I am" Jane laughed so hard.

"You're really smart to ruin the moment. I've prepared the words for this" protested Thomas.

Jane's laughter grew louder and could not stop.

"Hey, carefully choke," Thomas warned. Because Jane didn't want to shut up, the man laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" jane asked as she managed to catch her breath.

Thomas pointed at Jane's face. "You started," he replied, gasping. "You're so funny. I love you."

Jane's face changed immediately. "What?" He was surprised not to play. Did he not hear wrong? The beautiful woman had to hear it once more in order to be more certain.
