Thomas wore no formal attire, but only shirts, jeans, and boots. He looks like a farmer. He sat down casually on a haystack while holding a cup. "Coffee?" tanyanya, offered Jane a cup of coffee while smiling ignorantly.
"No, thank you" Jane replied. "You're not celebrating?"
"I followed him from the beginning. You must have been unaware of my presence from being too busy with Granny and Phillip."
"Oh..," Jane just nodded because she didn't know what to say.
Thomas put his cup on the floor, then stood up. "So I sat in the back row, and walked with my mother, Sir Becket and Lady Mary, as well as the other invited guests" she said.
"Because you're late?"
The question made Thomas laugh. "Yes, you could say that" he replied.
"I don't think a prince is allowed to be late" Jane sneered.
"Hey, the prince is also human. Besides, I don't want to bother you guys."
"What do you mean?"
"You guys look so happy. So, I thought I would only be an insignificant person if I purposely joined you guys."
Jane felt bad for Thomas. He who was a nobody even took the position of the man. "Sorry," he said, made Thomas' laughter grow louder. "What?" tanyanya did not understand.
"You're not what you used to be."
"What am I really like?"
Thomas shrugged his shoulders. "Usually you always argue with me, but this time you're quieter. Has Phillip taught you royal manners?"
"Phillip didn't teach me anything."
"That means you're just showing your manners."
"Then, what if I'm being polite?"
"It doesn't suit you."
Jane growled no longer. "Listen, Tom! I think I'm innocent if I don't follow your words. I'm just trying to keep us from always debating the little things. But it turns out you do want to make me blood up every time we meet. Now, I'm asking you, what exactly do you want from me, Tom?"
Thomas was silent for a few seconds, then smiled. "Do you remember the beginning of our meeting?" ask Thomas without answering Jane. The man took a step forward. Now they are only half a meter away.
Jane is shocked at Thomas's questions and attitude. "What are you doing?" The woman was alert.
"I'm just refreshing your memory" replied Thomas. "You still want to go to the toilet?"
The memory of Thomas and the toilet is bad for Jane. That's where Thomas first kissed her while drunk. The longer Jane thought, the narrower the distance between herself and Thomas was, so she decided to retreat.
But that seems to be interesting for Thomas. He continued to step forward without letting go of his gaze from Jane's round eyes.
"I don't have time for this. Tom, stop!"jane almost screamed. Jane's feet kept retreating despite the shaking. Several times he stepped on the uneven surface behind him, until finally his back felt a wooden wall. Automatic steps stopped. He swallowed.
"It seems that your route is up" whispered Thomas, giving Jane goosebumps. "You asked me what I wanted from you. I want you to realize your position that you're not worth Phillip. He's a prince, while you're just a commoner."
"What's your purpose in saying that? Want to demean me again?"
"Tom, you..."
"What's? I'm what?" challenge Thomas.
"I don't understand why you're mad at me as if I intend to be part of your family."
"You don't intend? Then why are you still here? Why don't you just come back to America?"
Jane took a breath. "You kicked me out? Even the owners of Fadar Palace didn't do it" he said cynically.
"What you're doing is futile, Jane. Phillip can't marry you."
"I know that. I'm a commoner, not a descendant of blue blood like you and Phillip. But I'm human. I have rights wherever I am. You can't lower me! Excuse me, I didn't go to the toilet," Jane pushed Thomas' shoulder and passed through it. "I hate you!" he shouted as he walked out of the hay storage.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jane grumbled as her feet stepped on the damp ground. The beautiful woman intends to return to the milking grounds, where she asks permission to clean her clothes to the toilet.
However, it seems that Phillip's entourage is no longer there. There is only the father of the farmer who taught him to milk the cows. "Sir, where did Queen Charlotte and her entourage go?" ask the farmer.
"They've returned to the main building for tea" the father replied.
"Okay, I'll be there. Thank you." Thank you."
Jane stepped down the path in the ranch area. Moist soil does not slow down the speed of the legs. Sometimes he took a deep breath to get his heart rate back to normal. He is still angry with Thomas and regrets that his stupidity has dirty Phillip's clothes, so he must go to the toilet.
"He's really troublesome!" grouse Jane. "Now I have to catch up alone and be late for tea! This is a disaster!" He deliberately set his foot hard on the ground, venting emotions.
Jane Watson has left the farm. However, his instinct to turn left is not right. The path instead made him further away from the main building and took him to the back area of the plantation. He was trapped among the vineyards. He should be happy to see the fat grapes on his right-hand side. However, now is not the right time to admire the produce of the Vlada state.
"Oh crap! I have to turn around!" Jane cursed many times while walking briskly in the opposite direction. But all the rows of trees looked the same, so he became more confused and lost. The beautiful woman started to sweat in panic. He had a cell phone in his little bag. "I have to call Phillip" he muttered as he unlocked the screen. "No signal? Damn it!"
Jane took a deep breath, wanting to calm herself down in order to think clearly. "Quiet, Jane. You need to calm down." The woman stepped again. "Hopefully my phone signal will appear soon" he said, still keeping an eye on the signal indicator in the upper right corner of the phone screen.
Suddenly, the ginger-haired woman heard the sound of footsteps. He fell silent, then thought about approaching the source of the voice, hoping that someone would come looking for him. "Hello? Can you hear me? I'm here!" yells.
His heart raced quickly, in tune with the movement of his legs. Between the rows of vine taller than him, he put his eyes and ears wide. The voice disappeared. He was almost desperate until he finally found a man he knew.
"Jane!" exclaimed the man while stinging. He wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. "I thought you were lost."
