THE MAFIA OF LAW

THE MAFIA OF LAW
SECTION 009'S

“Begini, Uncle. I want to open my own law firm in Bekasi.”

“Do you think this is the right time, Christ? You're really gonna find someone who's been hurting your mom?” Bagas lit one cigar and sucked it.

Christ took out the little notebook he received this morning. “Someone has sent this to me.”

“Hmm. Because of this uncertain news, you want to move to Banten?” Bagas opened and looked at the contents of the notebook.

“No, not only that the reason,” replied Christ.

“Then what?” Bagas returned the notebook. “What because of that woman? Oh, my God, it's unbelievable. You instantly fell in love at first sight.”

Christ grinned widely, answering nothing. Where he knew that Yuli's residence was also in Banten.

Christ is convinced that Yuli will return to her hometown after being fired from the High Court Law Firm.

“Hahaha. It's up to you, Christ.” Bagas sipped a full sloki once a sip.

“Bring some of my men. I'll tell him to escort you. In Banten there are also several headquarters where my men live. You can ask them for help, no need to hesitate.”

“Thank you very much for your offer, Uncle, but I'll go alone. I've been troubling you too much over the years.”

“Ah, shit! Turns out you're very head, very similar to your late mother.”

Christ just smiled a little. Pour whiskey in Bagas glass, then toast together.

Early in the morning, the Jabodetabek area was filled with thick fog.  The thick fog occurred because of the temperature that dropped drastically last night.

The fog filled highways, mountains, and even closed some of the existing skyscrapers.

While in the car, Thunder opened the window of the car and was amazed to see the thick fog that he thought was beautiful.

“Omong-by, Boss. I've never seen a fog as good and thick as this before. Well, it's already like heaven.”

Christ smiled little without answering. Every now and then he glanced at Thunder who was still looking at the situation outside with a look of pity.

Thunder is a portrait of someone who has never enjoyed his life in the outdoors. His mother has died from being killed by a Gangster Boss who once lent money to Thunder.

Since he had nothing back then, he was finally forced to kill the Gangster Boss by poisoning his drink. With that, he handed himself over to the police station.

It was better for him to be languishing in the police station than he had to be killed by his Gangster Boss minions first.

He had been in prison since he was a teenager and was only released a year ago, because Christ was the one who helped him at the time.

Since then, Thunder has promised to devote himself to Christ and be willing to help Christ, under any circumstances.

“When my mother was gone, my time and my life have stopped since,” murmured Christ inwardly.

There was traffic on the highway. It made Christ recall his bitter past with his mother.

Christ's mother once told him, to never go back to Bekasi, and never trust anyone in the city.

Christ, however, had disavowed his mother's message. He must return to his hometown and investigate what has killed his mother.

Because of the condition of the road is quite solid because of traffic jams, Thunder turns on the radio player feature in the car.

A radio announcer broadcasted interesting news that morning. He brought in a famous female Judge in the city of Bekasi. The judge's name is Lusi.
