THE MAFIA OF LAW

THE MAFIA OF LAW
SECTION 055'S

“I'll meet someone related to the mayor's murder case. Agus, he is one of the Directors of the Ministry of Finance at Bekasi City Hall. I'll meet him when dinner arrives.”

Gun nodded in understanding.

Arrive at dinner time. All the prisoners were seen lined up neatly in line to get their food rations.

Christ and all his men had their food rations.

In the corner of the room, there was a man in his mid-40s who was eating food alone, and the man was Agus, a Director of the Ministry of Finance at Bekasi city hall.

Christ smiled, then immediately sat right next to Agus, followed by Gun and Asep who filled the square table.

“Eat in your cell. I don't want to sit down with a lawyer,” he said.

“Gosh, you can't do that to your fellow prison dwellers,” Christ said.

“Do you know who I am?”

“Of course, you are Director Agus of the Ministry of Finance in Bekasi city hall, right?” Christ started eating his food.

“You are also the person who guards the safe belonging to the late mayor of Bekasi, and also handles finances throughout Bekasi City. Not only that, you are also responsible for money laundering for the mayor.

BRACKET! “Basic Bastard. How dare you talk carelessly to me.” Agus kicked the table in annoyance. They both became the center of attention for the inmates in the prison cafeteria.

“You continue to reject my request to visit you. Then, I decided to go inside and meet you in person.” Christ grinned widely.

“What? You went to jail just to see me? Jeez, unbelievable.”

“Yes, that's it. I'm doing this because I'm in a hurry. Many lives and lives of someone are at stake in this case.”

“Your words have a point, but, people like me also save people whose lives are ruined.”

“Stop bragging. I don't want to talk to you anymore. This is a warning from me.” Agus stood up, then went to the other table.

The first attempt failed. On his first day in prison, Christ and his men fail to persuade Agus to speak about the case he is facing.

Dinner was quick. After finishing his meal, Christ and his gang head back into the cell.

Before entering the room, a warden came to Christ.

“Detention, 1313. There is a visit for you,” said the warden.

1313 Is the prisoner number for Christ. It was written in the pocket of the prison uniform he was wearing.

Christ smiled broadly. He already knew that it was Yuli who visited him back then. He immediately went to the place of visit of the inmates.

And sure enough, Yuli had already sat down and waited for Christ's arrival in the visiting room.

Christ smiled and waved his hand, then sat down on the chair. They stared at each other with a large glass that was a barrier between them.

“Jeez, it looks like this is where you came from.”

“Not really. I am used to living in any place and anywhere.” Christ spread out his hands, as if comfortable living inside the prison. “Do you not know? I still look handsome even though I wear clothes like this.”

“Wah, shit! You can still brag at times like this?” Yuli grunts. “Omong-by the way, Judge Lusi refused my request to postpone the trial.”

“Have you begged him? You begged him personally?” ask Christ.
