“Basic, Fuck! How dare that bastard do this to me. Budi,” umpat Jono.
“Ah, it seems you have understood. It takes a long time and detailed explanation as possible so that your brain is able to digest things like this,” said Christ.
“Damn it! Whatchu mean? Who are you exactly?” Jono was upset by the words of Christ who deliberately insulted him.
“I suspect and more than ninety percent sure that Budi called Miko, owner of ASARON GROUP. Seeing from his talk, he continued to mention Miko.
But this is what makes me even more curious. Why would he put you in jail instead of just killing you? I'm sure there must be a reason why he kept you alive.”
Jono was silent again. He thought of what Christ said that made a lot of sense to him.
“Let me tell you one thing. His enemy is your friend.” Christ looked at Jono seriously.
He issues a statement contract letter and a pen, giving it to Jono. “Alright, now, you just sign this and let me be your lawyer.”
“Are you planning something too? Are you just doing it for money?” Jono begins to get suspicious of Christ.
“Of course, I want money. What more does a lawyer want than money?”
“How much do you know before doing this? I think you're the more suspicious one. What do you really want from me?”
Christ chuckled at Jono who was getting annoyed at him. “Jeez, you don't have to sniff like that.”
“That's you from here. I don't want to see you again.” Jono stood up and was about to leave the room.
“You mean it? Are you sure you don't want to get another lawyer?”
“Close your mouth, Goddamn it. I'm sick of you.”
“Wah, how dare this one bastard.” Jono undoes his intention of opening the door. He went back to Christ. He pulled Christ's coat collar up to his feet. “Hei! Whoareyou? Who told you to come here, asshole?”
Christ snorted and smiled. His eyes changed at that moment. He twists Jono's hand until he removes his grip from the collar of the suit.
“Little boy who got away from you over 20 years ago. Do you remember that little boy?”
“What do you mean?” Jono pushes Christ's chest.
Christ snorted back. “Gosh, apparently you're really stupid. How can a fool like you be a detective. Shouldn't the police have a good memory?
Ah, right too. I know you became a cop not because of your cleverness. You used the money to be a cop, or maybe, somebody made you a cop and set you up like a doll, didn't you?
Try to remember with your stupid brain. Do you really not remember that kid?”
Ambiance deserted. Jono was silent and thought for quite a while.
“The woman who owns the freelance repair shop you killed. I am the daughter of that woman.” Christ looked at Jono sharply.
Jono gulped. He was shocked to death to hear that. “You... child of that woman?” Slowly Jono stepped back.
“As you can see, from now on you want to know the real reason I want to be your lawyer. I'll get you out of jail, then kill you with my own hands.”
Christ also stepped closer to Jono who was cornered on the wall.
“If you die in this place, then I won't be able to do anything. I can't kill you and kill all your gangs.”
