THE MAFIA OF LAW

THE MAFIA OF LAW
SECTION 042'S

No more smiles on Christ's face. He looked serious about his words. All those years he's harbored it just to avenge the man who killed his mother.

There was no doubt in Christ's eyes. He is no longer a lawyer who is afraid of the law, but a mobster and even a psychopath who will hunt his prey.

It wasn't hard for Christ to kill Jono in that place though. Christ can do it easily, after all he learned from the black world of the Bagas mafia family.

“You.. Stay away from me. Basis, Psychopath!”

“Isn't that fun for you. I'll kill you while you're alive. I won't kill you in a dirty place like this, but I will kill you outside.

You should be grateful to live in this country. There are still a lot of high-ranking bastards protecting you.

Again, I'm telling you, you're very lucky to live in this country. If you're in Italy, then I'll skin you alive and make your skin a gift for your family.”

“You. Stay away from me. Warden!!” Jono's body trembled and was filled with sweat from fear. He tried to call the warden, unfortunately, there was no warden to help him at that time.

Christ held onto Jono's neck and pressed him slightly against the wall. His eyes were fixed on the blood vessels in his neck, he was anxious to strangle Jono in that place to death.

Christ let out a long sigh, then released his hand from Jono's neck.

“Alright, I'll go. You can call me if you change your mind. I hope you accept my offer.” Christ patted Jono on the shoulder, then walked out of the room.

The night came. Christ was in front of Yuli's father's studio. He stood across the street and saw Yuli and her father chatting together on the porch of the house.

Heavy rain poured down the city of Bekasi that night. The sound of splashing water falling onto the asphalt, and the tile sounded melodious.

Instead of looking at admiring Yuli from a distance, Christ turns back to his mother when he sees Yuli's closeness to his father.

Christ's eyes glazed over and fell mingled with rainwater, as he recalled his mother's return.

As Christ was about to leave, his phone shook. Call in from the prison where Jono was being held.

It's not wrong anymore. Christ was very sure that the person who called him at that time was Jono.

“Ya, hello. How, have you decided?” ask Christ.

“I cannot die in this place. That afternoon, some people tried to kill me in here. You've got to get me out. You can handle this case and be my lawyer.”

Jono's voice sounded terrified from his phone.

Christ smiled broadly. “Good, very precise decision. From now on, I will handle everything in my own way.”

“Can you really get me out of this place?”

“Ya, sure. You don't have to worry. That's a very easy thing for me. I'll do anything to get you out.”

“Alright, I trust you. You know I'm a detective, don't you? You must keep your promise. You have to get me out of this place.”

“Hahaha. Do you still consider yourself a detective? Jeez, unbelievable.” Christ chuckles.
