THE MAFIA OF LAW

THE MAFIA OF LAW
SECTION 070'S

“Excuse me, are you a lawyer who is the legal guardian of Detective Jono?”

A well-dressed man approached Yuli's bed and asked Christ.

“Ya, what's up?” ask Christ.

The man took out an ID Card that hung around his neck. Show it to Christ. He is a Prosecutor. One of Sri's co-prosecutors is also handling the murder case of mayor Joko.

“Come with me for a moment. There are some questions I would like to ask you both.”

“Sure, let me come with you. Let him rest.” Christ tidied his suit looking at Yuli

“No! I'll come with you,” exclaimed Yuli. He tried to get out of bed and put his blazer back on.

Yuli looked at Christ and remained determined to come with him. Christ took a long breath. He couldn't possibly ban the stubborn Yuli.

At the prosecutor's office, Christ and Yuli are interrogated by one of the Prosecutors who also handles the murder case that Jono committed.

The interrogation room in the prosecutor's office is a little different from the interrogation room in the police. The facilities in the police interrogation room are more complete, while in the prosecutor's office it is simpler.

There is only one microphone, one surveillance camera, and also speakers that are outside to listen to the conversations that are in the room.

Christ and Yuli sat side by side giving statements on the answers they were charged with. They both become one of the suspects for the death of the Killer Pay, whose status is not known at all.

Outside the interrogation room, Sri is also seen who saw and listened to the interrogation that took place.

“Before the man committed suicide, he had confessed that he himself killed the mayor of Joko,” Christ explained.

“So, that means there was another man who killed mayor Joko, you mean?”

“Do you record his statement?”

“No, because everything happened so fast. We had a fight because he kept running, and finally he jumped into the middle of the rail, after saying that to me.”

“At this time, all we have is a testimony from you.”

“Alibi Detective Jono has proven, I think you know it.”

“To my knowledge, the alibi is still being re-investigated by the Judges in charge.”

“Lantas, isn't this bothering you? How can there be a stack of definitive proof?”

“That's because he's the only suspect,” denies the interrogating Prosecutor.

“However, tell me how you are so sure that the man who killed himself killed the mayor of Joko, and is it true that he committed suicide?

It's possible that you pushed him down the middle of the tracks to get him hit, or you kept persuading him that he didn't know anything about the case. You could have been wrongly accused.”

Christ grunting. “Gosh, it turns out you're a stupid prosecutor too. How could I possibly kill one of the defendants who could release my client? Does your brain not think that way?”

“Jaga your words, Lawyer Christ. You could have been arrested for what you said.” The Prosecutor was angry that Christ said he was stupid.

“You are supposed to keep your word,” said Yuli. “If you want to arrest us, then bring a warrant first. We don't need to be in this place. Come, let's go, Lawyer Christ.”

Yuli was upset, standing up from her chair. “Ah one more thing, her words are right. Looks like you're a fool. Instead, you gather all the CCTV footage that is on the scene and watch it, instead of acting foolishly by drawing your own conclusions.”

Yuli also comes out of the interrogation room followed by Christ.
