Section 83: Don't Get Injured For Me

Since returning from Changsan Mountain, Qingyi and Baili Qingchen had both dodged each other. They created a distance between themselves, and all the servants in the mansion could see it clearly. No one dared to ask, because if one said the word, they would be scolded.

Qingyi closed the western courtyard all day. The girl spent her time in the dimensional space.

This master's heart must have been broken because of a Baili Qingchen, the protagonist who should have been cleared messed with his heart. Yinghao so wanted to laugh at Qingyi.

“Shut up! Don't discuss that person here!”

Qingyi poked her head, then sprawled on the water. The temperature of the pool is so good to cool a hot head. For the time being, Qingyi only wanted to relax for a moment without any interruption, before at resolving the unresolved issue. Damn it, that Physician Shen had him dragged the current even further.

“Why do you always come without notice?”

Baili Qingchen did not answer him and always ignored him as usual. The man instead barged into the room, then sat down on a chair. He looked at a basket of fresh peaches, picked it up one then bit him.

Qingyi approached him with a bent face. This guy, it's always been like that!

“Sit,” says Baili Qingchen. The girl complies.

“Give me your hand,” he said again.

“For what? My hand is fine!”

He forcibly pulled Qingyi's hand and revealed his sleeve all the way to her shoulder. The supple white skin was exposed just like that. Baili Qingchen gulped, but her gaze instantly dimmed upon seeing the incision wound on Qingyi's upper arm.

Baili Qingchen unscrewed the porcelain bottle cap, then applied the medicine inside to Qingyi's skin. The incision wound Qingyi had obtained while blocking the attack for Baili Qingchen, and had yet to be healed in the dimensional space pond.

The pain and pain made Qingyi shock her arms several times.  The man took out a small piece of cloth, then wrapped Qingyi's upper arm and tied it. Qingyi fell silent, feeling uneasy

because the man was instead sitting casually in his room.

Baili Qingchen had no intention of leaving yet. There was something on his mind that was hard to say. He simply looked at Qingyi with his eagle eyes.

“Actually what do you want to say?” ask Qingyi.

Qingyi did that because of her mission, and also because Baili Qingchen could not die that easily. What was clear, Qingyi had her own reasons why she did such a thing yesterday.

Baili Qingchen was almost out of patience facing the stubbornness of his wife. Qingyi could never be advised. Baili Qingchen simply did not want to involve more people. He does not want the people closest to him to participate. Baili Qingchen wanted to solve it herself in her own way.

But, Qingyi could not be prevented. That girl is not easy. Once a problem is discovered or uncovered by him, he will not give up before it succeeds. This time it's the same. Baili Qingchen did not not not not know if the person behind Physician Shen was one of the members of the palace. It was just that he needed more evidence and could not confirm it yet.

“If you're here just to scold me, you better come back before I stuff all these peaches into your mouth!”

Qingyi's cheeks flushed between anger and annoyance, as well as a sense of disbelief.

“I can remind you if you forget,” said Baili Qingchen.

“Away from me!”

Baili Qingchen almost grabbed Qingyi. However, Qingyi's legs moved faster by a split second than Baili Qingchen's.

The man's chair was kicked with all his might and Baili Qingchen instantly fell down. The man landed on the floor with an expression of disbelief. His eyes stared intently at Qingyi who had drained away his patience.

“I told you to stay away from me! It's your own fault for not listening to me!” cecar Qingyi's.

The girl took one peach in the basket, piqued it then left Baili Qingchen in the room.

Baili Qingchen got up. His body ached from Qingyi's powerful kick. He wanted to get angry, but to whom did he have to vent it? The girl had even been gone long enough without helping her wake up! Baili Qingchen could only swallow her anger by clanking back the peaches and coming out of Qingyi's room.

The man was walking in the middle of the western courtyard garden, and along the way he grumbled.

At night, Emperor Baili summoned Physician Sheng, the Chief Imperial Physician to the palace. Emperor Baili scolded him all out and told the guards to punish him with the board punishment. Physician Sheng has already made a big mistake. As the head healer, he was not even able to guard and supervise his subordinates.

The old Physician Sheng's body was unable to withstand the rigors of the punch board. In the fifth blow, he had already cried out for mercy and admitted his mistake.
