Part 16: Substitute Missions

Luo Niang complained before Qingyi.

Qingyi chuckled. Actually his heart also felt guilty for causing this much chaos. Really, he never thought that the girl by the roadside who adored him was Luo Mingyue. It was his own fault for using his brother's name to deceive the girl just because he didn't want to be followed on his journey.

“Have you found a solution to your sister's problem?” ask Qingyi.

Luo Niang shook his head.

“Why do you think Mingyue and your sister could meet? Did they know each other before?”

Qingyi was almost choked by Luo Niang's words. He rubbed his wet lips by the tea, then tried to calm down. Knowing each other what? They never even met each other! If it wasn't for Qingyi making trouble, how could Luo Mingyue be willing to marry Liu Qingti!

“Maybe your sister mistakenly recognized people,” Qingyi replied. He himself doubted whether his words looked sincere or not.

“What should I do now?” luo Niang complained.

Qingyi sighed softly. His brain turned around to think of a way to solve this problem. If Luo Mingyue and Liu Qingti get married, the matter could be serious.

Qingyi told all her servants to obey and swear allegiance to her. This step he took as one of prevention in case something unwanted happens.

The servants were astonished by the order, as they were confused as to whether they should obey it or not. Baili Qingchen was their master, where perhaps they dared to forbid him from entering the residence in this mansion.

The servants just nodded. According to him, this empress' daughter was really a bit outrageous as well.

A servant then ran in a hurry towards where Qingyi was standing. From the look on his face, Qingyi guessed that the servant had already run from quite a distance away. The important point is not that. The waiter had something to tell him.

Qingyi ruffled waist. Can't he live peacefully for a day? Even though today he did not act, but Xiao Junjie was actually looking for something because of him.
