The Love Imagination System

The Love Imagination System
Part 10: The bets

Qingyi sat down with annoyance propping up her narrow heart.

Several men in special uniforms waited for him in front of the restaurant and forced him into the carriage bearing the King Changle mansion. Apparently, Baili Qingchen had her bodyguards search and pick up her second empress who had not come home after a visit to the palace.

No matter how Qingyi disguised, the people from King Changle's mansion still recognized her because the memory manipulation from Yinghao had already exhausted his period of effectiveness.

“Your Majesty, if you do this again, King Changle's mansion will completely lose face,” Cui Kong said, king Changle's personal bodyguard, sent to escort King Changle's second empress back to the residence.

“That place has lost face since the beginning because of its strange owner!” qingyi shouted from inside the carriage.

Cui Kong doesn't chim in anymore. Although others did not see his expression at the moment, Cui Kong could not deny it. His little heart agreed with Qingyi's words, but as a subordinate who had been with him since childhood, Cui Kong did not dare to express it blatantly.

It was undeniable that he also felt that King Changle's mansion had lost its honor from the start. Only for the sake of a man who relied on his mouth and face, King Changle aka Baili Qingchen to have to release his army and willingly limited his power.

That is why, when the emperor sent a woman to marry to the King Changle's residence by decree, although the reason was not logical, Cui Kong was also pleased. Even if it could not restore its master like it used to, at least the mansion of King Changle would not be controlled by the men.

At first she was unsure, but after seeing Liu Qingyi's actions on her wedding day, all those uncertainties slowly faded, then shimmered into a new hope. Cui Kong had a hunch that this girl could control the balance within King Changle's mansion.

“Your Majesty is so good at talking. You are not the same as people rumored,” said the bodyguard. Qingyi grieves.

People in this age why is it so easily affected by rumors?

“Do you guys get it wrong? Even the men seem to like to gossip.” Qingyi sneered. Cui Kong simply fell silent.

“Then, does Your Majesty have a plan?” ask the guard. The question has another meaning behind it.

Qingyi chuckled. Apparently, Baili Qingchen's bodyguard, nicknamed The Eagle-Eye Sword, is not only good at fighting, but also has deep thoughts.

He was not like a bodyguard who only nodded his head and acted on orders. Cui Kong had something like great empathy and sympathy for his master, and Qingyi knew all of that.

“Kong, do you want to bet? If today Baili Qingchen does not scold me, you should be my servant for one week, if you win, I will call Xiao Junjie big brother for one week. How?” haggar Qingyi.

Cui Kong shook his head in astonishment. There was no way his prince would not be angry when the second empress ran away like this. As he recalled, all this time Baili Qingchen had never forgiven anyone who dared to escape without her permission. Although his power was restricted and his army taken away, Baili Qingchen still still gave off an aura of killing him when his heart was displeased.

“But, can you not call me that name?” cui Kong.

“Call? The kong? Why?”

“I just don't like.”

“Oh. Hongkong, Hongkong, Hong Kong, Hongkong.”

Qingyi called him that name. The bodyguard closed his ears, not wanting to hear such a ludicrous and disgusting call. Cui Kong told the coachman to be even faster because it was getting dark soon. The sky is also cloudy. He didn't want his empress' daughter to rain.

When the horse carriage arrived in front of the gate of King Changle's mansion, it suddenly rained heavily. Cui Kong jumped up to pick up the umbrella that the maid had brought. His feet stepped wide, avoiding wetness and splashes of water. However, when the curtain of the carriage cover opened, Qingyi's figure came out carrying a clear object that looked similar to the umbrella she was carrying.

The girl got off the train wearing a clear umbrella that is often used in modern times. This umbrella is more useful to hold wet than the traditional umbrella in the hands of Cui Kong. In vain Cui Kong brought the object, because in fact Princess Consort Changle had his own body armor.

Qingyi walked down every hallway of the mansion. With the rain still pouring down heavily, he was sure Baili Qingchen would not bother waiting for him in the western courtyard just to scold him.

He guessed the man must have been in his study room or at Xiao Junjie's residence. The pair of lovebirds were definitely happy that Qingyi had not come to disturb them.

Allegedly right. In the western courtyard where he lived, Baili Qingchen was absent. Qingyi cheered because it meant she won the bet and Cui Kong had to be her servant for one week.

Two of the doorkeeper's servants told him that this afternoon Baili Qingchen was looking for him everywhere, then ordered people to search in the middle of the city. The two maids were very happy because if Qingyi did not return, they would not be able to rest.

The room that was destroyed was repaired. The collapsed bed had been replaced with a sturdy one. The broken furniture has also been replaced with a new one.

In short, the room now seems more worthy of being called a room than it was yesterday. Liu Qingyi clucked in admiration for the working speed of the people within this mansion.

“Master, new side mission has been active. You must go to the Prime Minister's residence and reclaim all your mother's dowry from the hands of the Prime Minister's wife,” Yinghao said as his ears moved as before.

“Can I miss it?”

“Cannot. You must take an appointment to the Prime Minister's residence while completing the mission.”

Qingyi was very careless. His first impression of the prime minister's residence was very bad. The place was like a hell whose inhabitants were all demons.

In the corridor, he faintly heard Baili Qingchen speaking to someone. The candle that lit up from inside made Qingyi guess that the person the man spoke to was a woman, because the light inside there had created the silhouette of a woman's body. However, strangely enough, the woman seemed to be sitting on a chair.

“Why are you still here?” baili Qingchen asked annoyed.

Luo Niang sleepily knocks his head to the table in frustration. His eel was flushed and his long hair occasionally decomposed forward. The woman was so upset half to death that she fled to her cousin's mansion. To this day, his heart was still filled with that feeling.

“I'd rather die than marry my sister!” luo Niang said.

“If you want to die, don't be here!” ketus Baili Qingchen's.

Luo Niang shouted in annoyance. Suddenly, he had an uninvited guest. Her sister Luo Mingyue walked into the palace with her servant and said she wanted to get married. Unmitigated, his sister said that she wanted to marry the young master of the prime minister's family.

No thunder no wind, Luo Mingyue's statement naturally made Luo Niang angry. Even Dowager Consort Sun, her aunt, was also greatly shocked.

“What does the Prime Minister's residence want to tie the entire imperial family with him? Why is my sister also entangled?” luo Niang asked in frustration.

Baili Qingchen shook her head. To him, no matter how many people the prime minister ensnared, everything had nothing to do with him.

Marrying one of her daughters does not mean she should be tied to that family. Baili Qingchen was already quite irritated that Qingyi did not come home, and her mood got worse with the arrival of Luo Niang who was complaining about her sister.

“That's your business. Go, I have to finish my business!” expel Baili Qingchen. Luo Niang was extremely reluctant.

“A-Chen, my handsome cousin, don't you feel sorry for me?”

“No. A-Luo, quickly go home to the palace!” Baili Qingchen returned to chase him away.

Outside, although Liu Qingyi could not hear their conversation clearly, but she knew enough that the woman inside was Luo Niang, the cousin of Baili Qingchen. Other than the woman, Baili Qingchen had never allowed another woman to enter her study room freely.

A servant came up to him and questioned him. Qingyi told her that she wanted to meet King Changle, then the servant knocked on the door and entered to report it. While waiting for the waiter to return, Qingyi cast her eyes away at the building in front of her, which served as Baili Qingchen's master room.

“Your Majesty, please come in,” said the waiter when he returned. Qingyi directly entered the enormous study room of Baili Qingchen.

Before him, Baili Qingchen was standing on her back to the study table.

Not far from there, a woman dressed in pink silk was sitting looking at him, but that gaze was not a questioning gaze, but a frustrated look. It seemed, Luo Niang had still not forgotten the matter.

“Did you come to ask for punishment after not returning all day?” The man immediately confronted him with a question. The expression is so cold.

“No. I came to tell you that tomorrow is the day of a visit to the bride's family,” Qingyi denied.

The pair of newlyweds were throwing sharp gazes at each other exactly the two sworn enemies that had only met after so many years. Baili Qingchen was intending to scold this girl, but was snuffed out because Luo Niang was here.

His cousin would laugh at him and mock him again like this morning. Baili Qingchen could only hold it in her heart.

“A-Chen, your second wife is so beautiful and brave. Do you think I should make her my foster sister?” luo Niang asked in a desperate tone.

His eyes were focused on the tall figure standing before Baili Qingchen.

“Luo Princess?” qingyi asked, just a small talk since she had initially found out.

“You know me?” Luo Niang asked back still in the same tone.

“Everyone in the palace knows, only Princess Luo can enter King Changle's study room at will.”

Luo Niang got up, then nodded his head. His expression was still the same, so desperate.

“True. That's why my cousin is at will too. No, he's hearty!”

After saying so, Luo Niang dragged his steps out of the study room. With that gontai step, Qingyi silently smiled. Luo Niang's character was indeed not much different from the one he had planned. Although he did not know what kind of problem the woman was in, but just looking at her Qingyi could tell that the problem the woman was facing was not simple.

“Then, Your Majesty, I will return to my residence,” Qingyi said a while. The man just cleared his throat. There is no appetite for people.
