The Love Imagination System
Section 49. The Town Center Fights

“A-Chen,” call Xiao Junjie.

Baili Qingchen paused her writing activity for a moment. His head looked up at the figure of Xiao Junjie who was standing firmly in front of his desk. The gray cloak that enveloped his body was able to create a charm that made anyone become overwhelmed and did not want to stop staring at him.

Xiao Junjie has a handsome face. His jaw was quite firm, and he had a sharp nose. Her lips are a little thin, a little pink. Every time he walked, the smell of peaches on his body would be left behind and carried away by the wind. His appearance was not much different from that of the noble youth in the imperial city.

“A-Jie, are you ready?”

“Yes. Let's go.”

Baili Qingchen immediately ended her activities. Today, he planned to take Xiao Junjie to the city center to buy some items for the needs of the Zaochun festival, a special festival held by King Changle's mansion to welcome spring.

At this festival, usually the mansion of King Changle will invite some scholars and traders, to just establish good relations. Not infrequently the imperial family also came to enliven.

King Changle's Mansion was not unwilling. Only, Baili Qingchen wanted to atone for her guilt towards Xiao Junjie, because lately she had been too busy to even have time to just talk to him. Although Xiao Junjie did not speak, but Baili Qingchen was quite certain that his heart was quite sad.

“I heard Prince Baili Qingyan will be back to Chen soon. Didn't you help her pack?” xiao Junjie asked as the two were inside the carriage.

“There are many people on his side. After all, he will not carry too many items,” Baili Qingchen replied.

The small talk did not continue because the horse carriage had arrived in the center of the city. The two handsome young men in Bingyue got off the carriage gracefully. Their arrival attracts a lot of attention, especially for those who love beauty and good looks no matter women or men. It was indeed a quite rare phenomenon to see King Changle and the Little Prince go out of the mansion together.

Behind them, the mansion's headmaster followed to record every item purchased. Honestly speaking, the chief steward felt that the one who should take care of all of this was Princess Empress Changle, not the Little Prince or the Prince Consort.

Now in the imperial city her name was already quite well known as the legitimate wife of King Changle, and the affairs of the mansion should have fallen into her hands. Merely, the princess seemed indifferent to such affairs.

Instead of taking care of the mansion, Princess Consort Changle was instead engrossed in playing around all day. Her behavior was not like a wife, but more like a noble girl who was single. Early in the morning, Princess Empress Changle had already exited the mansion with Princess Luo, out of nowhere.

“Head of Manager, all items have been purchased. Go back to the mansion and store everything in the warehouse,” Xiao Junjie said when all the items had been purchased.

“Good, Prince Empress. In that case, I will take him home,” replied the head administrator. He called out to the waiter behind him, then started transporting the items into the storage carriage. In a few moments, all the banquet needs will be ready to be transported to the mansion.

“A-Jie, I have booked a room in Jinfeng restaurant,” Baili Qingchen said on her way out of the last store. Xiao Junjie's eyes immediately sparkled brightly.

“Then, come. We'll stop by there for a while.”

Baili Qingchen nodded. The distance from the last store to the place is not much, so they prefer to walk. The atmosphere of the city is quite crowded for a warm early spring. The matching pair of men passed through several shops, penetrating the crowd while enjoying the atmosphere.

Jinfeng's restaurant stayed a few more steps ahead, but they were forced to stop as a familiar snapping sound echoed in to draw people's attention. When they saw her, two young women seemed to be arguing in front of a hairpin vendor with several men.

“Omong empty! You think I'm a teenager who can be bullied?” snapped Qingyi, the familiar girl who spoke out loudly. The boss of the owner of the fierce-faced hairpin nodded back fiercely, not accepting with the height of the voice that had just reached his ears.

“Heh, Miss, you know what? These hairpins are imported from the south and they are very expensive! If you can't afford it, don't make a fuss with me!”

One other woman – Luo Niang, approached the seller and whispered, “Suggest that you do not provoke this woman.”

However, the seller remained stubborn and fought Qingyi with his words. He said, the hairpin Qingyi was holding was made of gold and that's why it was so expensive. Qingyi sighed, estimating that the price was not up to a hundred taels of silver. The hairpin on his hand was indeed interesting, but he was more interested in this debate.

It is not a matter of price that is the main topic. Qingyi was curious about the origin of the hairpin, whose carvings looked different from most. In the mansion, he had several pairs of golden hairpins, but the carving pattern was relatively the same, indicating that it was made by the original craftsman Bingyue.

“Oh? Then let's prove it!” qingyi. He whispered to Yinghao who was disguised as his servant – Xiao Ying, asking for a precious metal testing tool.

The salesman felt big-headed because he was sure that the brash girl in front of him would not be able to prove anything. However, his conjecture missed a long way as the hairpin in his hand slowly changed color after being pierced with a strange liquid by Qingyi. Qingyi then compared it to a golden hairpin on her head, which received the same treatment as the seller's golden hairpin.

“Fraud! This isn't gold, you fool! How many girls have you tricked?” qingyi murmur. Everyone saw clearly what he had done. Although they did not go to school, their eyes were not blind to tell which was real gold and which was fake.

The seller was angry. Feeling himself humiliated, he had called out to some of his friends who were hiding in some corner of the city. Hordes of burly men surrounded Qingyi, with fierce faces ready to wait for orders. The insolent seller smirked, he thought of giving a lesson to the rancid girl who had exposed her falsehood.

“Hit him!” exclaim the seller.

Xiao Junjie was about to stop them, but his wrist was blocked by Baili Qingchen and the man's head slowly shook his head. Slowly, Baili Qingchen said, “He is not a person who can be beaten easily.”

This time, Baili Qingchen wanted to show how great a Qingyi was to Xiao Junjie. He hoped that the dispute between the two could be resolved, especially after Xiao Junjie knew what Qingyi's true abilities were like. Baili Qingchen was already quite tired of seeing their quarrels every day, and it greatly disturbed her composure. After this, perhaps Xiao Junjie's assessment of Qingyi could change.

“Come! Who's afraid!” exclaim Qingyi.

Luo Niang turned his head, catching the figures of Baili Qingchen and Xiao Junjie standing not far from them. His reflexes pleaded with Baili Qingchen to stop his wife, before the burly men were battered. However, his answer actually made Luo Niang sigh in annoyance, it was because Baili Qingchen and Xiao Junjie shook their heads.

Before the fight, Qingyi had Yinghao take out his golf stick. It came out from under Yinghao's robe, and Qingyi's hand immediately accepted it. A group of burly men attacked him simultaneously, and at that time Qingyi's golf club swung to beat the burly men.

Nimble, agile and deft. Not a single burly man's punch hit Qingyi's body. Although the girl wore a long hanfu, her movements were limitless. She once fought with Xiao Junjie wearing a wedding dress, and she won. This time, he looked at the burly men like Xiao Junjie, and he suddenly became even more excited.

In less than ten minutes, a bunch of burly men had already been beaten by Qingyi. Qingyi swung back her golf stick, but her hand was stuck in the air as someone blocked her. He turned his head, then found Baili Qingchen beside him. The man looked at her quietly without emotion, as usual.

“Do not beat them again,” sergeant Baili Qingchen. Qingyi suddenly grieved, and she felt herself to be extremely ridiculous. So, the man stayed there and just watched it?

“Good! Why don't you keep quiet until the show's over? You want to be beaten like them?” cerocos Qingy.

Just be right! She was fighting, and her husband was just watching from a distance. As Qingyi turned her head to another corner, she saw Xiao Junjie standing quietly, looking at her deeply from the edge of the Jinfeng restaurant.

“Crazy basics!” muttered. Luo Niang resignedly, not wanting to interfere if his affairs were already

like this. He retreated, then joined Xiao Junjie.

“I warned them not to provoke him, but they did not want to hear,” Luo Niang told Xiao Junjie.

“What a disrespect!” xiao Junjie.

Luo Niang glanced at him with a twitching corner of his eyes. Oh, he forgot that Xiao Junjie had also beaten Qingyi to a pulp on the wedding day. Looking at this scene, he might feel like he was replaying the events that had happened to him back then.

Now, Qingyi really wanted to beat Baili Qingchen to a pulp. It could be that the man was silent to see the Empress Princess was about to be tricked and beaten. The burly men were shocked to see the figure of Baili Qingchen, the War God Bingyue, aka the famous King Changle.

They were about to run away, but then the King Changle's special bodyguards came and rounded them up. From behind the troops, Cui Kong broke through and directly saluted Baili Qingchen.

“Send them to jail and schedule a day for interrogation!” the order was met with simultaneous nods from the guards. Those who were snatched up were taken away.

“Go home now!” he shouted at Qingyi. The girl's hand was forcefully pulled. Baili Qingchen walked over to Luo Niang and Xiao Junjie, but her eyes avoided staring at them intentionally. He just said, “A-Jie, you should come back too. A-Luo, come home to the mansion with me!”
